I had to laugh at your "tickle" comments. Stuart, you never cease to amaze me. Your paintings are always spectacular and this one does not disappoint. You always teach me something in your videos, but I have just learned more about painting in this video alone than I have from 50 other artists. Thank you! Painting is such a joy in today's seemingly joy-less world. I'll keep painting and hopefully, you will too so I can see the beauty of your paintings and learn in the process.

Thank you from Nashville, Tennessee. I recently retired and hope to indulge in painting someday. You have made me feel that I could learn to do so. You are an excellent teacher.

I love your dramatic sky’s. I was raised at the Swedish westcoust and loved the storms and foggy weather I could sit for hours and suck in the feeling on my self
So it’s always showing up in my memory when I will paint
    Like it ❤️❤️❤️

Wow Stewart, that in my opinion is the BEST sky I've seen you do (I love seascapes yes...) I'm very glad I'm not out at sea in a boat if that were a sunrise, considering the old adage, "Red skies in the morning, sailors take warning, red skies at night, sailors delight..." talking about drama!! And the water on the beach and the sea is really VERY beautiful.... I'm all fired up! Oh, and if you wanted a sinister cliff, look no further! lol

    Stuart,
I recently found your work on-line and I've enjoyed your approach, not only the composition/painting techniques, but also your willingness to share what you've learned.
Regarding this current seascape, I'd hoped that you would have added more of a mist/fog to the cliff face. I believe that the power of an imposing rock face is due to both the hint of the escarpments that at times are faded into only a suggestion of their rugged power.
I hope that a future video will include more work on this wonderful painting.
Stay safe, keep healthy and please keep painting! I'm a fan of your work!

This is the most amazing painting ever..the sky looks like its moving to the left, the water coming into the left and the mountain with these few strokes seems like im right there. i wont be involved in this skype in january but if you decide to do this again i will certainly be involved. its so awesome how you share your time and art with everyone. your art is the most amazing and after finding out about you ive been watching for the past 3 months. thank you stuart you are amazing.

I live on The Gower Peninsular and this reminds me of Great Tor on South Gower. When you came back at the end, I laughed as you added to it to make it even more like Great Tor. Obviously it's not a photographic representation, says he not wanting to tic you off, but I think it is recognisable. Thank you for an excellent painting that I may well try to copy.

42:00 As always, I've enjoyed your "strokes and musings" for this painting, Stuart! I'm especially looking forward to seeing how you finish these wave lines, for I was creating a similar wave line with a palette knife recently and ended up having to turn the painting upside down to try to make it work, because I see your waves have the same form as mine did: as if (!) the waves are headed L to R in a SEAward direction, with the same strong dark - light demarcation & vertical angles that incoming waves have. :-O
No amount of re-tries and blending helped me to reverse the directional impression of my waves, so I changed the type of surf. I look forward to watching the rest of the video to see how your technique works for this. I "failed", but still like my painting, as the water isn't the main focus. Cheers and all the best from Salzburg!
