They not only ignore alumni, but they treat them like lepers. It has also become extremely woke. It used to be an elite school, but now looks more like a Cal State school. Also new ideal, how about calling a play, run up to the line with plenty of time, vary your cadence to get the defense to jump of sides free penalty yards/deep pass and run the play before the defense can "read" your offense and make their adjustments. Coach LR is a smart man, but he's outplaying himself.

I think one big issue Riley took over a very bad SC team and he still hasn’t addressed the roster in all aspects. I truly believe some guys that play are not good and we just need better players. All these Helton recruits are just not good enough. Riley is trying to flip that with the HS recruits but this offseason we really have to address this roster. Least Lanning took over a Oregon team that was good up front

Everyone here has great perspectives - however, USC has been to the Pac-12 championship 4 times in past 13 years. Won once, lost twice under Clay Helton and we lost once under Lincoln Riley. We went to the coveted Rose Bowl with Clay Helton. Please don't kid yourself and think we are going forward with Riley. We have produced some standout players over recent years, however, we haven't managed to produce a consistent football program as a whole. The word "good" is used a lot in Riley's vocabulary. I was under the impression, USC wanted to be Great again!

Lanning inherited years of Nike money recruited players, and Washington is still building. Our secondary is the most alarming part of defense. No, just no. Irving ran for 118 yards on 19 carries which is around his average so you didn’t stop anything on the ground. We attacked more through the air this game which is why the total rushing yards as a whole was lower and Bo had over 400 yards. It was just a slight tilt in the game plan when normally passing and rushing are pretty even. Also let’s not pretend like Oregon wasn’t gonna score on those 2 drives even without the big plays over the top. Just would’ve taken and extra couple minutes.
