Love it, Dylan! That Fox and the Duke have me drooling. That 4 in 1 Ruth beautiful. I don’t worry about a little paper loss on most pre-war and particularly on a huge card like that. What a vivid image. Huge congratulations. Love it.
That’s such a terrific looking example. Especially where the paper loss is you barely notice it. It’s beautiful! I’d be stoked to own it too! Congrats!
Your logic and strategy is so smart, Dylan. I love the time you spent to shop for this card and to explain why it fits so well into your collection. Great great work, buddy!
Dylan, what a stunning, sharp, scarce, centered and vibrant last playing-days Babe Ruth card! 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒And what a glorious Joe D! I can never see that glorious dream card too many times, my Joe D cartoon clubby! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Well, lack of network capability kept us from spending time on the show floor together, but we will make up for that another time! Signing off, my '52 Bowman Mickey Mantle clubby! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Adam my collecting twin brother ha ha ha. your the best thank you so much for making my day with this comment. One day we will do an episode together showing our clubby cards
What’s extra special about the card is that the border just around the Ruth is perfect. The other three players have defects on their borders. Congrats 🎈
Such a sick card with an awesome story, Dylan. I'm so happy i could see that in person at the house. I was the one that was able to get the TV to work. Rick had such a good idea to watch everybody's first videos.
Was a great day that you found a card that day. That must have been Thursday, because you didn’t buy any cards on Friday and not to the end of the day Saturday.
When I had a store (1989-1997), a guy brought one in for trade. The 1935 Goudey Rutj was hammered with creases. I gave him $90 in trade (we're talking 1993) and he took it. Sold it around 2000 for like $300 and I want one again.😢
Oh man what an insane story. If I knew back when I was 13 years old I could have purchased a 35 Goudey Babe Ruth I would have saved every last penny to do so. I just never had a mentor or dealer who pointed out that if I just saved my money from mowing lawns that I could have gotten these cards. Hope you find your copy again one day :)
@@DoubleDvintagebaseballcards What you need to understand is that when I had my store, it was the junk wax era and NOBODY cared about vintage cards. It was all about Ken Griffey Jr, Bo Jackson and Frank Thomas.and whatever new issue was released. I once traded a 1952 Topps Mays (valued at the time at $400 VG/VG+) for 450 different 1984-86,Star basketball commons. I passed on two Mantle 1951 Bowman in VG because they booked at $650 and he wanted $900 for the pair! Still working on that time machine...
Beautiful cards Dylan. The 1935 Goudey does have great eye appeal. Do you have a 1929 or 1932 Zeenut Henry "Prince" Oana card? His cards were selling for big premium years ago.
Robert just the guy I wanted to talk to. I am in love with the cards I bought from you and was hoping if you ever come across a Shigeo Nagashima from the 1968 JGA152 set I want it so badly. You will see why on my next video when I do it. Also was hoping to talk to you about your 1968 Jintan Gum of OH that I passed on when I was there. If you still have them I would like to make a deal for them 😜. I have been thinking alot about these and researching them and even my wife was wondering why I left a few at your table 😜. Whats the best way to talk to you ?
Awesome Ruth pickup, congrats! Talk about eye appeal!!
Thank you Andrew !!

Shocka!
That 1938 DiMaggio is the Wooly Mammoth. How often do you go back to buy a card and its gone?>
Jude yes I agree ha ha Wooly Mammoth no doubt
