My friend, its great to see you back behind the camera and making us all feel great about cards! I hope whatever life situation kept you away has been resolved. I hope I had a little bit of a inspiration on your 1938 Goudey Big Head build. It was one of my favorite episodes to do, and wouldn't you know it, your positivity is driving views to make it one of my most watched interview videos! So thank you!
Thank you Dan and definitely coming on your show and talking sets was in the back of my mind ,but my wife picking that as her favorite design not knowing it was mine as well was sealed the deal well that and the sets tiny ha ha ha. Thank you so much for having me on it was an absolute blast
Gave a video like. Always enjoy your videos! Changing your collecting focuses is great! Keeping things relevant and exciting to you is what it's all about. Thanks for sharing, Dylan
I love it when you’re excited about something, which happens a lot but I’m here for it 😄 I know you’re going to find some awesome cards. The Elberfeld is sweet! The dude was a badass but he looks so chill in that portrait. Great gifts from Brent. Love the Abbotts he sent you. The UD fits in with the Heroes design and the ‘91 buyback features the Green Monster behind him 💥🤙
Happy belated birthday brother! Can’t wait to see the Goudey’s! Love the T206 Kid Elberfeld and Miller Huggins! “We are all a little weird, I know I’m weird” 😂😂😂
Another like Dylan. Evolving your collecting is a good thing. Remaining in the same place can get stale. But you have an amazing couple of walls of inspiration there. Don’t forget about them. Happy belated Birthday btw.
Oh, man Dylan! The red background on the T206 is so amazing. I’m drooling over that card. It check all the boxes visually. Great to hear the update on your journey. Excited to watch you go at it, my friend.
Love the new project! What an iconic set!!! I’m not big into set collecting either but when you do a sub set, like that, it’s so cool! Stick to your guns and be patient with it, it will be worth it! 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Great video. Love the stream of consciousness style and just saying what’s on your mind. I agree with you about the community being awesome, it’s the whole reason I chose to start making videos. The cards are secondary at this point.
Well I wont go so far as you saying the cards are secondary ha ha ha ha ha ,but yes this community is freaking all time the only problem is its much harder to kick the buying when you watch videos all day ha ha ha
That's great Dylan i love that Goudey set cant wait to see your progress as you add them. The t206 cards you picked up are stunners for sure and that's kind of where im at right now in my collecting im working on getting more t206 and t205s right now and refocusing my collection.
Jesse !!! So stoked you watched this one. I need to catch up on your videos after I make this comment I am going to put one on while we eat breakfast :) . Happy hunting my friend.
Man the freaking time differents for me is crazy. When everyone goes live I am still out and about doing my normal life stuff. It sucks being such a different time zone than everyone. When I sit down at 6pm here to play with my cards everyone I know is asleep ha ha ha.
@@DoubleDvintagebaseballcards I can't speak for Sammy, though we both live in same time zone. I can't sleep for sh*t. Well, not usually. If you ever come on *live* I might be, like the only one watching. Ha ha.
Congrats on your recent pick ups, and the TH-cam All-Star. Well deserved. I don't think my vote counted, sadly. Dylan, I completely understand the moments and duration of time where you, you feel, like it might not be the best time to talk about cards on camera, but you're still looking/thinking about cards anyway. Some of the best moments don't always need to be filmed for TH-cam, but could be talked about later. On TH-cam, if necessary. At a later time if that makes sense any. Hope you had a great birthday, though.
we never count for anything Andrew. 😒We get very little if ANY affection, nor do we EVER even rate for "VR" giveaways, dopey All-star teams or HOF. Probably the dumbest thing on youtube for the good ole boy network is the VR giveaways excluding chat, IMHO. That's why we have our separate wing in the you tube HOF since 2021. F them.😅🤣
Thank you so much Andrew for always commenting and for your kind words. And yes I ran out of storage again I was so bummed had alot more to share 🤣🤣. I need to sit down and delete things from my phone.
@@BringingTheHeat-VBC Fewer TH-camr commenter Hall Of Famers anyway. Maybe some of the on camera ''personalities,'' will stop recording, and they can wait their year until they are eligible for this side of the aisle 😅 Maybe 2 years...just because. Lol.
“I’m a 2 drink guy, but I had 3 drinks.” is a line many of us have said with the same result…awesome ideas or fun nights. Or not😂😂😂 Those Goudeys are awesome. Good luck hunting them down . Any Tigers in that set? I’ll have to look.
Awesome video. Thanks for the insight. Love the Yankees captain idea as a Yankee diehard. I have a nice 1917 Collins-McCarthy Peckinpaugh that is awesome.
Judge clubbies and now Goudey Cartoon Clubbies!!! 🤯🤯 Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about! You just took off like a bull out of the chamber, but I will eventually catch up! 😂👊 ♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️♣️
As always you freaking have the comment of the decade ha ha ha ha ha. Let me know when you start chasing down the commons so we dont attack the same cards LOL
The 1938 Goudey's have been increasing in price and they are becoming harder and harder to find. I always wanted the Joe D, but it is now out of my price range. These "oddball" cards are now becoming mainstream and going into collections. There are just not many of these cards.
Ever since I was a kid this since was hands down my favorite after the normal topps cards. I always dreamed of having the JoeD ,but never thought it was possible. Now I get to hunt down all of them it blows even my own mind ha ha ha ha
Are the 1938 Goudey cards unlicensed? What is with the teamless hats? When did card manufactures need to get licenses from MLB? is this the first unlicensed set?
Well, looks like the video ended with the words of don't be influenced. Be inspired. Maybe that's not where it was heading, but possibly so. I guess the world will never know. I wonder if you were to record these videos in a live-stream or something. Your phone/camera might actually let you finish what you started. 🙂
I just need to delete things off my phone. I only record in 4k so I can enjoy looking at my cards on a big screen laying in bed ,and now on my VR Head set that turns the cards into 700 feet of glory ha ha ha.
