I rode on a 2000 Thomas EF with the 3126. Man do I miss the sound of that CAT and tranny combo. What made it even better, it was one of the fastest buses in the fleet.

@@leteizjordan298 Not entirely. They made a common rail version of the 5.9 in 2003-2004 until they discontinued it in 2007. My district has a good bit of EF's with the common rail 5.9s and they sound really good ngl

In the uk whe have the allison md3060 in our refuse/rubbish/garbage trucks. Mercedes econic has this gearbox, and it screams like it does in this video.

I used To ride a 2005 Bluebird All-American FE with a Cat C7 when I was in Middle school it was a spare bus

When I was in school, I rode several Chevy Bluebirds all possibly with a 3126!
Rode on of these back in middle school. So this is quite nostalgic. Though mine was not nearly as nice at this one appears to be.

Same. They sound better. Almost as if a vt365 was an in-line 6.
They would sound better with an Allison MD30 which everyone avoids and always puts a stupid AT545 on a 5.9
The 5.9 Cummins was discontinued in 2003-2004

South adams had an 07 ce that went into a crash in 2012. It got replaced by a 2014 ce that was built in 2012. The bus number was 7
Remember riding this in 2015 and finding a strawberry stuffed animal in between the seat and window
