I just got diagnosed with keratoconus today and i felt like my life is over, i feel like im going to gradually go blind. I am hopeless, devastated, and more depressed than I've ever been. To know that curry, the greatest shooter of all time has the same condition as I do, and lives with it, gives me a lot of hope and is bringing tears to my eyes right now. Thank you curry.

I have severe keratoconus in both eyes (basically legally blind), had it for many years. I use scleral contact lenses, can wear them all day long with no discomfort and my vision is 20/20. I also ride a motorcycle at night to give you an idea that you'll definitely be okay with your vision.

I have the condition. It is mild for me, but it’s noticeable in my left eye. You can slow it down or stop it by wearing glasses, contacts, or eye surgery. It’s not the end of the world to be diagnosed with it, they are constantly updating and advancing the tech for this condition and even finding ways to reverse the damage already done to the eye.

I've been wearing them since 2013, even after a transplant (once it healed and stabilized). I could not wear RGPs and glasses only worked for a few months. I'd be visually-impaired without them. Get a really good lens fitter as I saw some bad ones who couldn't fit me or correct my vision and took my yearly benefit anyway.

Been fighting it for about 8 or more years. I'm in my 30s. It can get better. Try scleral lenses. Take care of your body and allergies. Try a diet change to reduce inflammation. It will help. Walking alone for 4000 steps or 3000 steps a day will help too. Don't forget about multivitamins especially for things like phosphorus and collagen to help reinforce the strength of your cornea. It won't do a lot but any little helps.

The fit could be off or if you have dry eyes or they fog up, your doc can have them made with a special coating that makes them like butter and more comfortable. Dr scheduled a 1 year follow up to see if maybe I could get the surgery if my cornea wasn’t deteriorating too fast but unfortunately it was and he told me I will never be able to have lasik. He did mention another surgery that would slow down the deteriorating process of my cornea. Forgot the name though
