✼ It was actually in 2018, after watching this series in its entirety, that I began pulling clips for this video. But life ended up getting in the way, & I pushed the idea to the back burner, always knowing deep down I would make it happen someday. I finally decide that "someday" needed to be now, and it felt so good to work on this tribute to a series that will always be a part of my heart.
✼ Back in 2006 when I first "discovered" Michael Landon, he so inspired me that I made my first ever fan video, a tribute to Pa and Laura. I've been making videos ever since, and eventually started my own videography business. 😊

This show means so much to me, its such a beautiful representation of faith, family and real love. ❤️ I can't believe it'll be 50 years old next year. The world needs more people like Michael who are willing to create and share something as meaningful and heartfelt as Little House was. ❤

I love that little house. Of all the wooden house structures on LHOTP, I like it the best. And as an architecture enthusiast, I love it's quaint design. "Charles" did a great job building it ...with his bare hands. 🙂 This is Landon's finest work, a masterpiece. He and all involved left us this timeless classic series i enjoy and treasure. It's one project I'll remember him by.

I can't tell you how much this show meant to me growing up in a family that was dysfunctional. I was shown what real love and family look like. It was on after school every weekday in the 80s and I am eternally grateful I had the opportunity to watch it.
Michael Landon made the show for people just like you. 💗 It would warm his heart to hear your story, I just know! Thank you for sharing that. It's an amazing show that has meant so much to so many!

What an amazing beautiful video!! I loved Little House when I was a kid. I had an extremely dysfunctional awful childhood and I used to pretend Charles and Jonathan were my dads...I still love this show to this day! ❤❤❤

Like Alicia, I grew up in a dysfunctional family and this show meant a lot to me. I was fascinated with Michael Landon's Charles Ingalls, and how stable, supportive and loving he was. The entire family was so full of love. I feel the same way about Bonanza--I love Ben Cartwright and the Cartwright family, with all its stability and warmth.
And this song perfectly fits the show! This is a wonderful vid. Thanks for making it.

My brother and I watched this show decades ago and every time somebody on the show cried we'd chant "Waterworks...waterworks...waterworks." I even had a dream the other night where I was watching an episode where Albert was going blind cause of his morphine habit and was using Adams old cane to get around.

Congratulations Darla. Beautiful song dedicated to an unforgettable series. Without a doubt, one of the best of all time. I just remembered the intro from when I was a child, because I was born in 1978.
But my wife and I discovered it about five years ago and we watched it all, about three episodes a week. All nine seasons plus the extra movies.
In short, a great series of Christian values. We need more of these nowadays. I always recomend it.
And this video you made is also very good as a tribute to "Little House on the Prairie", which is now 50 years old, and still seems to be new, to watch it over and over again.

Charles, Pa, was always punching someone. Funny! He was the best Pa around. I loved Laura and Almanzo together, too! An all around great show! I still watch it and I'm 51. I grew up watching it. ♥️

Love this sweet video🥰❤! Great choice of music and high quality video. I just loved this show. The Ingalls family's close bond and love for each other is what life is all about. How they were selfless and helped out their neighbours, relatives and friends.
I loved most of the characters on little house but Charles, Caroline and the three little girls were my favourite. Laura and Mary especially. I loved seeing the kids grow up on the show and blossom from adorable little girls into beautiful young women. To me, they will always be little Laura or Mary that I remember. My favourite seasons was 1 to 4 before Mary went blind because after that the show changed. If I was the writer I would have had Mary blind in much later seasons, maybe season 8 because Melissa Sue Anderson was close to Mary's age. So she could play the character a few years younger and she would get more screentime/storylines, her child would not die in the fire and we could see her and Adam as parents.

I love Michael Landon . I am more a Bonanza Little Joe gal but I re-watched LHOP and fell in love with him on an even higher level. An amazing man whose incredible good looks were exceeded by his almost beatific vision of life and love and family - as it SHOULD be. 4 the LOVE of MIKE ❤

Started watching Little House as a kid with my sister/ family. Then partially to score points to with a friend of my sister/ neighbor girl who I was crushing on (& we are still friends.) Now watching it on Vision TV (as a guilty pleasure ) Monday-Friday. Always get a laugh @ the scene where older Laura is reading her brail B-Day card to Mary & everybody is in tears including MRS Olsen & a newly introduced Albert , While Willy all about chowing down on B-Day cake. Willy became on of my fave characters once he stopped being such a momma's boy & Nelly moved away.

Hi! I think I commented on this video before, I love it SO MUCH ❤❤❤I was just wondering: how did you get the HD clips into your editor? I've just been recording my laptop screen with my phone, so if there is another way that I don't know about I would love to know!! I hope you don't mind me asking
I bought the seasons digitally and then downloaded them all and trimmed the clips with Quicktime. A TON of work, but I'm a sucker for working with HD clips. You could also use a DVD ripper :) Thank you for watching it and commenting!
