This is a demonstration of what i've done to keep my printer running just as good as when I first got it and it seems to work great. Let me know how you clean yours and if I am doing anything wrong or what you would do differently.

Preciate this bruh. Really helped me out with my Ricoh. The videos Ricoh supply you with are no where near as in depth. Keep up the good info💯💯💯💯💯
Thank you so much for this video.. first time having to do the monthly and I was sooo nervous. I love your videos you are very clear and thourough
My hands aren't that delicate and steady. Lol. I respect your confidence doing it bro.
Amazing keep up the great work
❤️
As Salaamu Alaykum MY Brother i'm having problem downloading my design on to my PNY flash drive to do a embroidery design for one of my customer
Did you not power down and discharge power before cleaning?
I started off powering down and flicking the switch in the back like they suggest but i always forget to do it so just skip it. Works fine for now. Fingers crossed. Let’s see how this goes. 🤞🏾
@@adubbproductions please power down and power cycle next time. Good job on cleaning bit lord, I am scared you’ll blitz the bead. Never let any power go to the machine while using anything wet.
Ok. Im gonna power down moving forward. Promise.
Can you link me the grease please
I’ve tried to look for it but no look lol the Lubrication for the rail
DO NOT USE CLEANING SOLUTION ON THE PRINT HEAD! You can damage the print head that way, to the point of needing to replace the whole carriage unit! I urge you to check out the Ricoh DTG University videos.
I’ve looked at the videos. They suggest placing the cleaning jig on the top to cover the heads then using the solution to go around the heads. For me the cleaning jig got in the way so I try to stay away from the head while cleaning but occasionally it slips. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it.
@@adubbproductions I have never used the cleaning jig or do I find it affective. When I originally got the Ri1000 (2 Years ago) in their Anajet University videos they did say to use the cleaning solution on the print head. They found that the heads were going back due to the cleaning solution getting into the electronics. They took that video down and reuploading it saying to not use cleaning solution. I see now they have new instructional videos up on their site and they say in the video to not use cleaning solution. I bring this up because to replace the carriage is $2k. I had used the cleaning solution on my Ri1000 early on and I had to replace my carriage. Luckily I was covered under warranty.
What happens when the head goes bad? How do you know when you need a new head?
That’s all good information. I think I’m gonna sacrifice just to see what happens so I can tell people exactly what not to do. So far so good but let’s see how this goes. 😂😂 only a matter of time. 😂😂. I’ll sit a few bucks aside for every shirt I sell. Hopefully it doesn’t happen any time soon. You can come back and get a good laugh. I’ll make a video when and if it goes bad. It’ll make a great video. Gotta roll the dice. Lets see.
@@adubbproductions You'll know when the print head has gone bad because there's going to be horizontal lines going through your nozzle check and whatever design you print. Also you should raise your humidity level to above 45% and not let it sit at 24.2%
I’ve been meaning to invest in a humidifier. I’ll go get one tomorrow. Thanks Sean. Good stuff, I appreciate it.
Too much! Not for me
Yea, it’s not for everybody. Beats any 9-5 though. A lot easier and way less stress.
