I know this is old but i love how you changed the computer guy with a 15% for a genius with 10% which is better in all other aspects but slows you down on that specific tech you already had boosted up by 15%

I always play with Ironman on and not once have i had a issue or corrupt save. Think most ppl too scared of not being able to go back to a previous save when things go wrong. lol
I've had issues with the save corrupting in the past, so I think it's just much safer to do TH-cam playthroughs on non-ironman. I do off-camera ironman playthroughs occasionally (and that might be a good stream topic...)

Why are you so concerned about consumer good especially when you didn’t end up picking up the death cult civic?
No matter what civic we take, it's going to be a problem. Consumer good needs are pretty high for non-hivemind empires, and can strain economies.

Well, it'll certainly slow down, but since the performance improvements beta it's playable (if a bit slow).
