I think some mods you would absolutely love is the hollow animates portraits (-demonic- good guy stuff)
And the psi- civics (soul eaters and touched by the shroud. Cursed refugees is also a planned one)

I'm happy that you are interested in playing Stellaris, but the developer will be dropping a new patch in about three months that will break saves. Just FYI.
Since the dawn of our great species, merely seeds in the great growing beds of life, we were destined for greatness. But, even as small seeds as we were, the faithful and loyal beetles of our world tended to us...first we were crop to them, depending on us for survival. In generations, it would be us that became the masters. But we did not loathe the beetles, nor did we exterminate them. Why would we? They only did what they could to survive. And in turn, so did we.
Taking the beetles under our roots, we have turned from crops to kings. And with the help of the beetles, we have been protected, and we had flourished. As we cooked in the labs, they had toiled with their backs. And a new age had dawned as we had reached for the stars.
But what will become of us? Who shall we meet? Threats? Allies? It matters not. We have the superior strength of will, and the superior strength of the beetles. Come what may, but the rule of our strong bonds and unity can defeat any trickery xenos might throw our way.
The mighty tree of our civilization shall make its roots in this galaxy.

me ether though I think it might have been funny to see him go devouring swarm.
The lore for the them working together could be the beetle protecting the cacti in exchange for food/water (or maybe shade since they live on a desert planet), and since the cactus didn’t need strength it got more intelligent, while the beetles got stronger and eventually just started doing all the manual work, while the cacti became the administrators/rulers, or just anything that required a bit more than brute force.

oh I really one this series to continue and I've only just heard of it because stellaris is one of my favorite games to play mainly because I to create backstories for my civilizations

Just got stellaris 2 days ago, its nice to see more up to date videos since the ones I watched from avaak were before some major changes in the game.
I've watched everything Lath, so I guess i have to start over at the beginning!
I like to imagine that many, many centuries ago, an explorer to the world that would one day become the Cash Cactus homeworld walked through a field of prickly plants that were the ancestors of the cash cacti. Thoughtlessly, they dropped a book detailing how to get rich using the extranet among the prickly thicket as they realized quite suddenly that they were standing in a field of cacti. How and why this person came to this scenario, one does not know.
This book formed the foundation of the nascent Cash Cacti society. It became their book of law and the foundation of what we animals may call a "religion". Wars broke out over its interpretation, though as a society of shrubbery, they quickly settled on a codified way of living, what with the threat of fire and all.
They gradually began scheming, and through the guidance of their holy book, managed to get on an intergalactic version of eBay and engaged in trading items of incremental amounts of worth until, finally, they traded their way to owning a galactic empire. How this ended up on spaceBay, nobody quite knows. But, seeing the universe as their terrarium, the cacti used their ultimate acquisition to prepare a fleet and become the greatest merchantmen/militaristic conquerors the universe will ever know.
The fact that they have absolutely no real idea as to how the galactic economy actually _works_ is completely irrelevant, of course.

okay lathland, I hav som things you need to know(of curse thats op to you if you going to use it or if you know it alright) you can not make a colony out side you space you have to make an space station on top of it, und til the colony efter thoes 9 mouths is ready, nr 2 you can not build defends armys on you planets undles you make a "stronghold" it gets 3 army`s and protects you army`s from orbital bombartmet, it all so removes 30%( not to sure about the 30% tho it is around that number) undrest as you will still hav to do somthing about does slaves , if you can`t build it you hav to research it.

I started with season 3. And... I like your playstyle, and the style of those videos as a whole. I typically prefer people like quill18 and ImmanuelCan when it comes to Stellaris let's plays, as they typically go full on with their roleplay even down to the techs they choose, something I know for a fact I wouldn't be able to do but appreciate nevertheless, and are more optimised than you in their playstyles, but when it comes to this series, your style grew on me during those six episodes of season 3.
Otherwise I really like your style, especially in FTD. After all, From The Depths, Plague Inc and Stonehearth are what made me sub to this channel in the first place, and now Stellaris is making me like it even more. You're definitely in my top 10 favorite youtubers.

Maybe it's not that you're Charismatic, that suggests you do understand some emotion, but rather you emit a pheromone that fleshy's find appealing, or perhaps if you don't contact them in person, they simply don't see plant people as a threat, or they find you appealing in some aesthetic way.
