@Turbo6Detail sitting outdoors, not being cleaned regularly, dogs jumping on it and scratching it, dirt splashing on it, hard water spraying on it. Some serious abuse the average car wouldn't encounter. Dirt here is also rich in limescale.
It's interesting about 2 years ago I put cquarts uk and stacked sic on top as well because at the time it was the "Best" consumer grade and easy to apply. Since it was my first coating i've applied I thought why not. Fast forward and it's still kicking ass even with all the new coatings out.
@NeilDetails ill do that in the end. In my environment, claying coatings never seems to help and if anything just causes more wear on the coatings. Regular use of acid should dissolve and remove any mineral buildup anyway. Acid always has done better than clay or iron remover for coating decon in my experiences.
Damn, I hear the water spray going on and I have to pause the video to run to the restroom. That ADS stack seems to be the bomb on your testing so far.
Thanks for the continued updates.
Diy detail mentioned their APP polish might work as a coating rejuvenator. Could be cool to see if it works on a dead coating on that panel.
could try it at the end of the test. ill ask yvan about it
Great! Thanks for updating
thanks for updating bud!
thanks for update Sir
thanks for the updates 👍🏻
Nice update Martin! Are the coating failures just from sitting outdoors?

@ Word. That’s definitely heavy stuff. Thanks!
Not surprised that Carpro CQuartz UK is one of the best coatings. I stacked the Carpro SIC on top of the CQuartz UK on my 911.
@ChrisBrooke-l8i it's an animal! I have gliss 2.0 now as well, will probably do a couple stacks in the next interation of this

@arabinow i think in my next test I'll do uk standalone, uk plus sic, uk plus gliss, and dq plus gliss
I’m just here to see how long the ink lasts on the hood LOL
When was the last time you used a clay mit on the hood? It might help some of the coatings.

aging sucks doesnt it lol
This hood been through it
Looks like the trigger sprayer isn’t happy
Sprayer is fine, I need to thin the acid out more, it's too viscous at the dilution I did.
