Thanks for the updates Martin! I'd say you are a close 2nd to only Jamie in your ability to kill coatings. 🤣 We've since moved on from developing those variants of V2 further but cool to see how they're holding up. Max V2 that is on this panel is only about 45% the activity level of our current MAX. So cool to see it sticking through!
I am a little surprised at Gyeon, but I only have experience with Pure Evo topped with can coat. Different product. different result, same Texas sun. :P thanks for the updates!
Good stuff as usual Martin. Hey I'm still washing with 3D Super Soap for its insane cost per wash, especially with your code from DI. Now I'm aware that Carpro Reset is the bees knees for coated cars but it's so expensive per wash by comparison. Assuming I'm getting the car clean, am I really missing anything? People talk like it has magical abilities to revive coatings but I thought that was the job of mineral removers.
Not missing anything really. Reset just has a nice aroma and feel to it with the finer foam it can create, but cleaning ability is nothing drastically different from super soap. you can use water spot removers too in place of acid shampoo, they do a better job especially if you use them less frequently.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa thanks man. Currently I have Carpro Descale for that but I'm not sure if I'll get more when it's used up or just switch to a mineral remover. I'm also considering switching to a hybrid wash (like Super Pre-Soak, then rinse, then finish with a rinseless wash and dry). Preludio also looks interesting...but that's another discussion, heh.
@matsudakodo the acid soaps seem to be best for people with really hard water as a regular maintenance wash once per month. They do not eat minerals like the water spot removers do though.
Hopeful we can get some more choices out there, the 3 billion options are not enough. I remember when my choice was Simonize or Turtle wax,and the cars looked just fine, and gave us something to do twice a year.
Hmm that's weird I've got mohs on my car (6 months) and it performs like day one 🤔 Maybe different conditions. I'm super satisfied with it, although my car is garaged but using cancoat evo on my daily wich isn't and after 6 months it kicks ass 🤷♂️
Probably Cquartz UK, Ryan West 9H, and Starke Kraken. Strictly in terms of durability. Slickness and ease of use are another story. I'm not a spreadsheet kinda person so I won't be making one. Likely after a year I'll do a recap.
You say that the hood is neglected, but it looks better than most cars here in New Mexico, LOL 🤣😂 Very informative video, I'll have to try the RWI spot remover.
Not surprised at DIY since Yven is behind it. ADS is kind of killing it right out of the gate though. That IS a surprise. Going toe to toe with the big boys.
Knowing the owners of ADS I'm not surprised at all. They are both professional detailers in the modern era and they know what works and what doesn't though experience.

Thank you for all the efforts brother, I know these are a lot of work!!!
Woo nothing better than hanging with Martin and his hood 🎉
@@JamieTheCleaner you never know who or what's gonna end up in the hood

geez, I have been a little bamboozled with Undrdog looks like it, guess I only need to use Marine+ from them
Sorry is that RWI waterspot remover? Revives almost everything it seems
@erics.7045 yes it is!

@victoryensured7137 as I mentioned this test is extreme
From my experience, it appears as though Koch RS leaves some sort of residue that will clog coatings.
@@EricRoz how do you cleanse the surface if that is the case?
Top 3 Coatings, so far? Can you do a spreadsheet?
