This is a nice game - a mix between Pokemon and MtG, rules are a bit complicated and a lot of text, janky art, but 4-wall effects make this game a lot of fun, cards give you waaay more options than in other games. Best suits for people who play Yu-gi-oh, MtG Commander🙂

How to play metazoo buy thousands of dollars worth of 1st edition product light it on fire then buy 2nd edition play and enjoy
The you realize there are a ton more cards that were limited promos that cost even more money. They should at least release those cards as alt arts in new sets or make new cards with similar abilities/text.

I have an honest question cause I’m new to the game. Say you have two forest terra in play. A beastie gets a 25 dmg bonus from it. Does the bonus stack because there are two terra pages with forest.

Unless the card says otherwise. For example, I believe the Unicorn from Wilderness lets you stack damage depending on the amount of Day Terra in the Arena. It’s not particularly useful because it takes up additional Terra slots but it’s technically an option if the card allows it.

When I hear dice rolls and coin flips, that was immediately a no no for me.
What's wrong with dice and coins?
I'm assuming he doesn't like it because it introduces too much RNG in his mind. That's what I thought of it at first until I played it and had a lot of fun and realized that Metazoo focuses most of all on it being FUN and these RNG elements don't take away from gameplay and only add fun to it. The style of Metazoo is wacky explosive fun. It feels like a mix of Magic, Pokémon, and YuGiOh dialed up too 100 in craziness in a good way.

Gotta say, this is the first bit of content I've seen for metazoo and I still don't get the appeal
It seems like one of those things you gotta play to understand.
My one issue for this game is how many god damn promos I see. Making so many promos for so many events makes it intimidating for new players and less attractive.
