- New Wheels for the Polo GTI. If you're an OG viewer of the channel you'll know I've wanted to change them since i got the car. WELL HERE THEY ARE, 18" BOLA FLE wheels. Arnt they stunning!!!!

How are this wheels holding on with daily use will you say they are off a decent quality ? I know is not on the very expensive side but still last time I check it’s £830 for set of 4 in 18” so still money to me and the flow form tec being light weight do you notice any difference after fitting it to your car like steering feedback and all thanks
Looking good just sold mine the turbo failed at 8000 miles and decided to sell it after it was replaced under warrenty, car was a complete lemon tbh

They look great, if you spent the £1200on a stage one or 2 and kept the original wheels it would have been a better choice in my opinion thats what id do.
Fair point mate, each to their own i suppose! With me doing alot of content for insta i wanted the car to look personal to my taste which is why i put aesthetics first however when i bought the car i had little knowledge on maps and tuning cars which has increased so definitely something to look into getting done next 👍🏻
@@ncbhp419 like you say everyone does things there own way. Ive done visual stuff first as it cheaper. And looks better. We are at similar points in different directions. I just need the tune and intake now as i like the gti wheels just not the shockingly bad original tyres, glad i swapped them

I dampened the sound for the music mate, but stage 1 with a pop and bangs map may be an option! Ive done a video on the milltech system check it out for the sound 👍🏻

cheers bud, they're the maxton ones! they are meant to be drilled in however I've stuck them on with 3M tape.
Looking to get these in gunmetal for my GR Yaris since I have damaged 2 left side circuit pack wheels which need refurbishment.
How is the overall quality of the Bola FLE wheels?
They look good mate! I've been debating on changing mine when my dealer alloy and wheel protection end in the next 2 years 😆 I do really like my Brescia's but I've heard a lot of horror stories about them white worming over time

@@ncbhp419 No worries man! 😁 That's not a bad shout to be fair! My idea of replacement alloys would be something like the Reifnitz (TCR alloys) in black or get them refurbed to silver to match the bodywork. Still no rush for me as I am happy and would rather enjoy my Brescia's for now 😅
Yeah it's been posted a few times on the Golf MK7 and Golf GTI Mk7 owners groups and it makes it look like you've kerbed the wheels! Horrid! Diamond cut looks are nice but I think I'll stick to a solid colour when I can

Yes, however at the time i purchased the gti the gti+ was alot more on the second hand market
Did you have to change the wheel bolts? Also with the scuff on the wheel you could easily fix that yourself just need a few grades of sand paper and the paint code for the wheels or if your feeling lazy you could just use a black touch up pen
Yes the bolts were changed however they’re included in the price of the wheel and tyre package at LK 👍🏻 hahaha yes i know id end up fucking it up so i will have to get someone to do it! One of those annoying things but oh well 😂

I waited, you passed my test, now lets get you started. Go with stage 2 Dyno tune, they will tapper it off for future upgrade. I got 50hp and run 420 torque. Important you do dyno tune. dont concern yourself with the cost ok. You best be ready ok, Driving skills at 100%. No margin for error ok... Ill address the suspention hight, you wont like it but we agree on this subject. You said no other hatch does this, why have they done this... my words, it just looks stupid. What happened here is the Polo is a girls car. Its wasnt meant for you or me. I want you to ask your girl friend if its what she prefers. You cant lower it, if you put short springs in.. wont be like it is now... comfort wise.
Bottom line.. its a coil over kit and that... well.... your wheels wont match the contour line and the can of worms is opened. Hey Im not here to judge you in any way, we share the same passion, we are brothers, like it or not.

@@ncbhp419 I meant the plastic wheel cap thingy. It's 63mm diameter and 60mm on the inside ring.
I got some 19 staggered in hyper black. 8.5j 9.5j.
