Oh Yuzu, this isn’t even 1% of what you’ll find out in the franchise of Warhammer 40K given it’s over the top nature, vast lore, grimdark dystopian theme and hella countless stories of characters from all types being either from the best and worst of the Imperium being from the vast Imperial Guards, Imperial Navy, the mighty Space Marines, the secret police/intelligent agency of the Inquisition, to the numerous xenos factions and the dangers of the native Daemons and Chaos Gods from the Warp and the bulk of humans serving the dark gods from the lowest cultists, Chaos Space Marines with their champions and lords that lead them and the mighty Daemon Primarchs and Greater Daemons that serve their patron gods. In summary Yuzu this will not be done in one sitting the moment you look further in Warhammer 40K
Every Space Marine Chapter apart from the Black Templars have their own psykers called Librarians, who themselves have different ranks based on power level and experience with the Chief Librarian being both the most powerful and most experienced, though different Chapters have different names for their positions like the Space Wolves call their Librarians "Rune Priests" and their Captains "Jarls" because ya know vikings in space and all that, the Dark Angels call their Captains "Masters" and their Chapter Master is the "Supreme Grand Master" (he has that title because other Dark Angels successor chapters' chapter masters are called Grand Masters)
Watch "If the Emperor had a Text-to-Speech Device" as a humorous but insightful introduction to Warhammer 40k. They cover all the foundational bases and are extremely funny as a parody.
Whoever said "adepta sororita" and "adeptus astartes" means brotherhood and sisterhood of war is wrong. Its High Gothic, the official language of the imperium of man, adeptus means department, sororita means sisters, astartes is the name of one scientist who helped create the spacemarines (old lore it meant star). So "department of sisters" and "department of spacemarines", like "adeptus ministorum" is "the department of ammunition" which performs all military logistics within imperium
She's still new to 40k so I can see some factions were simplified to understand the gist of them. when she gets used to them, she'll know the meaning of the Sororitas and the Astartes.
That paladin guy was A Bulwark class in Game, in Warhammer 40K lore & book, he was a Blade guard Veteran, storm shield + Power Sword + Heavy bolt gun / Plasma Gun.
36:20 Well, lore-wise that thing is their standard bullet: a .998 caliber, gyrojet-propelled explosive round. In the words of therussianbadger: ‘… firing a self-propelled can of Red Bull that explodes after impact.’
9:16 GB Mobile was, whereas the main Gundam Breaker games were a beat em up parts collector game where you just go at it with opponents to collect parts to make your dream Gunpla.
yuzu being a tau girl is the least surprising thing melts under anyones touch Edit: Yeah her being a sisters of battle fan checks out and im so here for it
To be fair imperial guard and sisters of battle work with space marines all the time, I would see no issue in having the option to play imperial assassins or sisters of battle in a space marine game.
Another vtuber discover the love of the god emperor, good job my brothers and sisters for guiding yet another Vtuber to the franchise! The god emperor is quite pleased, and now she'll be stuck watching 40k cinematics and lore videos and maybe even look into warhammer fantasy and the trailers of total war warhammer 1-3. Spread the word to others so they too might feel the light and love of our God emperor and remember pilgrims that the Emperor protects.

Welcome Yuzu....to Warhammer 40k.......and in the grim darkness of the far future there is only war! One of my favorite lines for the Ultramarines: What are our oaths? - The steel that binds our lives to the Emperor. What did we swear? - Our lives are as nought in the vision of the Emperor, save that by them we shall destroy all foes. What is the fate of all foes? - To perish in the fire of battle and be cleansed from the galaxy. Who will prevail against the darkness? - The Ultramarines! Who are the swords of the Emperor? - The Ultramarines! Who are the sons of Magragge? - The Ultramarines! For the Emperor and the primarch! Death! Bring death to our foes!
Tau enclave is considered the most good as they want to subjugate everyone instead of genocide with a few exceptions like dark eldar, orks and tyranids for obvious reasons and often when they do conquer they try to incorporate them into the “greater good” and increase freedom and standard of living
black myth; the 1000 transformations was one of his 1st masteries. I suggest you watch a quick summary of journey to the west. coz the the game takes place after his life journey known only in the book. you might appreciate the game more.
Would like to correct you on the transformation thing. The ability is called 72 Transformations, which actually translates to 72 magical skills. Transformation being one of the skill.
You need to check out Mechwarrior 5: Clans. Stompy robots, great visuals and you get to play as the bad guys. (Altough the characters don't know they are the bad guys.)
Honestly would love librarians in space marine but to be honest, they are broken as all hell. It's basically taking the 7 ft tall power armored clad soldier and give him top level dnd magic on top of everything. I mean throwing fire dragons, stopping time, or my fav, manifesting ghost sharks under the enemy is kind of an I win button.
I would assume that psychic powers would act like your primary weapon, active and passive abilities. Sorta like you get a ring of powers you can swap to then use as a primary weapon, maybe some sort of uber version as the active ability but you use a staff for melee and a pistol for ranged. Librarians are alright but unnamed ones/not chief librarians arent incredible so it would make sense if they can do a lot of powerful ranged attacks (like the heavy) combined with defensive buffs (like the bulwark) and debuffs (like tactical) but arent better than each of those at doing so and are penalised with "poor" melee or defense. Another couple of future additions would be apothecary, tech marine and chaplain which could all interesting, abilities and combinations.
It does kind of depend on the psyker. BF1 did a good job with some classes which can only be gotten with upgrade kits on map being more powerful but still able to be taken down over time/ with a squad.
wukong isn't a soulslike since people seem to think so in chat, and also you don't play Sun Wukong, but apparently he's in the game. You're a different monkey, no idea who but they just call you the Destined one or something similar.
29:52 They're not, GW has artificially made it seem that way by focusing virtually all marketing and books around them. There are literally 20 other factions, with tons of subfactions, but it all gets pushed aside for Space Marines. In general, I'm just really fed up with pretty much every bit of media that comes out being centered on the Imperium.
Space Marines are 100% the most popular faction in the entire universe. Both table top, lore wise, and the most sets sold. Theres tons of other factions sure, but its alot easier to understand a monster of a human fighting the enemies of humanity.
If you want Good Guys in 40k it's Farsight Enclaves T'au at the top. Overall the Craftworld Eldar, T'au, Votann, and Imperium are the more morally good factions while Dark Eldar, Chaos, Tyranids and Orkz are the more evil ones.
The Farsight Enclaves seem to be a return back to the Original Tau vision, before GW gave into the fandom that said Tau were too good for a Grimdark setting and so GW added the whole Ethereals are subconsciously mind controlling/steering the Tau Empire for their own potentially nefarious means.
I would say based on the tiny bit of codex lore we have votann are definitely above the imperium. I would put them and exodite eldar above craft worlds for sure.
you watched the bricky videos and got most of the lore before. of course no one in 40k is good. that's the charm of it. except the orcs. they just wanna go Krumpin.
No, the imperium of man is the only good faction in warhammer 40k, of course 'good' in relative terms, given the context it's in and hardships it has to go through in order to survive. Imperium are definitely not the bad guys in 40k, they are just victims of their circumstances and hostile galaxy they are in, and are fighting for survival of the human race, which automatically makes them the only good guys if you take it from human perspective. Other alien species are the bad guys, because they are either straight up evil or seek to undermine the human race and human identity. Tau are definitely not the good guys either, although they are perhaps among the more reasonable factions, that can be reasoned with to an extent and occassionally ally with the Imperium of man.
not sure about the gundam game the old one flop slowly killing it self and now they making the same thing again with the same mechanics and possible greedy monetization, kinda heresy calling the big e non psyker when hes the most og pysker for humans, 40k is not racist they equally hate zenos and traitors
I don't like the stupid little jokes some of the primaris spacemarines make in this. Thats not what spacemarines are like, they aren't like ordinary men, they're quite cold and stern compared to us, they'd see that tyranid swarm and be very pragmatic about stopping it, they wouldn't crack jokes like "haha, i was worried how I'd pass the time".
While that is true of quite a few chapters there are very much those that act more free spirited. That doesn't even factor in the fact marines are individuals, just as capable of possessing personal quirks as regular humans.
0:00 - Black Myth: Wukong
8:37 - Gundam Breaker 4
11:03 - Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2
Very little is really more cool than angles with massive guns.
Girl really asked "Is there lore" 😂she's about to go down a deep rabbit hole
Oh my sweet summer child
Hive Mind Yuzu has discovered 40K.
Now all she needs is to link up with Hive Mind Matara to get her into the lore.
I second this.
Wait, has she played with Mata and Bricky before? Or am I delulu?

Yes 🗿

High Gothic is basically Latin.
