I am so excited to share my 2022 Christmas Decorating video! I am decorating my main living areas into a winter wonderland. I am reusing all my decor in a new way. Let's get some hot cocoa and decorate!

What I did with out little one last year with Christmas decorations was taught her to "touch with just one finger." Worked perfectly.... it let her touch the ornaments and decorations but we didn't have to worry about her grabbing them and pulling anything down! When I saw the claw come out I just gave a gentle reminder of "just use one finger!" and it worked like a charm!
That's a good one! I'm using gentle hands prompt so far so good! He is a sneaky one though 🤣🤣
We did this for our son too ( now 40 haha). He was allowed to touch anything safe with one finger. Always seemed to satisfy him. Jessie, you might want to move the reindeer on thghe built in to face out to the room. That way he can enjoy the rest of the room😁.

Well I seem think at the end of November & then December that I'll want to just repeat all of my Fall decor for next Fall and of course I'm thinking YES 🤔 I'll DO IT ALL AGAIN Next Christmas too!! 🎄 But only one year latter....I'VE CHANGED MY MIND SO I END UP DOING BETTER & BETTER EVERY SINGLE YEAR!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!??
The joy of Christmas through a child’s eyes is a joyous thing. I know Malcolm is loving all the decorating. The new entryway looks beautiful, as does the rest of the house. Looking forward to see what’s in store for the upstairs. I like it when you give us hints of what’s to come (kitchen cabinet). Have a good week and we will see you in the next video.

I have lived in a tiny 900 sq foot house with my husband and two children for the last 22 years. As much as I would love to have more than one tree, space does not really allow. Our tree goes in our great room. However, I have a small tabletop tree for all the bedrooms. Not big enough to decorate, but there are lights on them. It brings that beautiful glow into the bedrooms.
I bet it does! When we lived in our previous home we has 3 trees and our first home we had 1! As I get older I'll probably reduce the trees too and do 1 in the picture window upstairs and one in the living room.

My children always had their own little trees with shatterproof ornaments. They could put the ornaments on and take them off again all they want. It worked great. They never touched our family trees.
He has done awesome! The first day was so exciting and he couldn't help himself to try to touch but now he is used to it. I have almost all shatterproof. The glass ones are up higher on the main tree.
I love flocking! But it sure does make a mess! I have one tree in my living room and I decorate the whole house! Can't wait to start! 😀💖

Yay! I've been waiting to see the new entryway decorated! It turned out BEAUTIFUL, Jessie! The familyroom is very festive! I have 2 of those merry Christmas signs. Love them! It wouldn't be a jessie Christmas video unless you decorated the hutch with RD So cute! Kitchen looks fantastic as well. All ready for hallmark and chill!🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️

Maybe the older 2 would consider getting a Santa picture done with Malcolm this year. Even tho they are too old for Santa, it would be cute for them to have one made with their little brother.

I moved into a new house last July, we were finish up renovating last year so when I decorated there were still some things in the house that wouldn’t be done till later. So I was so happy this year when I could get everything just how I wanted it. My mother in law has never seen my decorating in person (we moved closer to her) she asked if I had bought all new stuff this year because things were placed completely different last Christmas 😂 I always get about 10 new single ornaments every year and this year I picked up maybe 15 smallish things to decorate surfaces (I have more furniture than I ever have before 😅) but I mixed the new in with alll my old. I have 2 trees. A 6ft flocked with white lights and a 4 ft non flocked with white lights. I set the 4ft tree on a stool my husband made specifically for it.
I bet that looks so nice! I love mixing the old with the new. I love rearranging things as well to keep it fresh.

We put up our new flocked tree first in the living room, mostly white, silver, some pops of red & dark green. Then white faux fur & green velvet throw pillows. I'm now decorating our bedroom & bathroom. I found a velvet green blanket & green & white bath decor! Last, creating a mini Christmas bar, kitchen & dining are shades of red & white. Your decorations are gorgeous! Have a very Merry Christmas!

I'd Love to do more than 1 tree again, and about 10 years ago I did for a few years, then our second tree was broken and I just didn't buy another lol. Instead I spend the money on gifts for our 4 kids 😉. But when I'm a grandma and I get to have my family and grandkids over, I'll be doing it up again and going overboard to make it magical for the grandkids lol
Oh yes, it all depends on how I'm feeling and where we are at each year. Who knows as I get older I might do less trees. It's so much to store and put up each year.

Wow! I don't know where you get your energy from but I need it. Everything looks beautiful. The newly painted stairs look so good. We're putting our Christmas stuff up as soon as I get over the flu. Except I did my front door black. Everything you did looks stunning! I know how hard that was. I still have to finish my upstairs. I only finished the bottom of the stairs.Only what you can see😂😂But what a difference it makes! Love it

I put up 5 trees. The main big tree in the living room, a medium size in master bedroom, small tree in family room, small tree in my kids rooms.
That's so fun! A lot of work but totally worth it!

My mom usually does inside and my dad does outside so they both get done at the same time. And for the tree, we save that for a family thing. Our ornaments are actually heirlooms and memories we've collected over years and we make it a family tradition to decorate the tree together(although my brother is a loser who refuses to do it and so is my dad). My sister even comes over to decorate despite living with her fiancee in their apartment. We have eggnog, topped with nutmeg and/or cinnamon, and blast Christmas music as we decorate the tree.
Though I honestly can't wait for the time I have my own place to decorate how I wish and see what I can make happen

This year I’m decorating around a cat and German Shepherd… my only son is 17 and already got his Christmas gift for it was a gaming system. I focus on tree decorating - not too much other decorations. I have 8 all different decorated trees all around my home. I do not buy new xmas decor every year, unless I want new tree lights...christmas decor is bonkers expensive! Although, I do look on FB Marketplace for used tree decor throughout the year which helps change up the decor every year to make it different. I have a mix of upside down trees, white & green trees & tinsel trees. I have had my trees up since Oct 1st -- it took a full month to tweak them all the way I was happy with them. Decorations look great! Love the new stairs too!
