I love your Christmas decorating videos Michelle. You have awesome taste and decorate beautifully. Your Mom has so many beautiful decorations and I love where around the TV you surround it with the white light and her decorations. I usually start with my fragile decorations , then my other decorations and leave my tree until last. That way my cat gets used to it and won't climb it ( at least she hasn't yet) lol. It gets more difficult for me year after year and I always say I am going to down size but I just can't. Most of my decorations are generational and I love putting them out year after year. I just can't see me downsizing unless something happens. ❤❤
Michelle, you are amazing! I had 3 young children a long time ago, my youngest is 39, so I can totally relate to your busy-ness and trying to keep it all together. I go all out too at Christmas, regardless whether we are entertaining or having company come for the holidays. I put out 7 trees, and garland everywhere! Each tree has a theme, and I love it so much. Every year I try to do a little different. I love your ideas, and your main tree as well as your mother's tree is fantastic. ALSO, BTW you look fantastic for having such a young baby. It is so wonderful to watch someone create such a spectacular Winter Wonderland!
First of all, kudos and thanks to you for all of your hard work and for sharing it with us for inspiration!!! I hear you on the difficulty of trying to buy presents for kiddos that already have so many toys... one thing to keep in mind (imo) is that they're tastes and interests change as they grow older. So maybe have them go thru and donate toys they've outgrown to make room for the new toys coming in.. also you know their interests best, so the bath bombs you mentioned could be a part of a spa theme gift set- bath bombs, bathtub markers, lotions, bathrobes, slippers, etc... the piggy bank you mentioned is an awesome idea as well with some cash or change to encourage savings..a gift card to their favorite store to show them how money works? You're doing fantastic! Both as a mom and as a content creator. New subby, love your energy and honestly. Thank you for all of your hard work! 💪🫶🏼🩷

The beauty of Christ is that He understands and always welcomes us back to the fold. FYI: You have the best tool available for bow assembly...zip ties! I use them in a lot of my bows, especially the outdoor bows.

I just want to let you know that you keep saying that you’re going to un fluff the garland and the trees but you’re actually fluffing them. Otherwise, you could just say “ I am unbending them to fluff them up.” Just telling you that you’re saying the opposite of what you’re doing and it’s making me crazy. lol but…you’re doing a beautiful job and it’s absolutely gorgeous. ❤
My flocked tree this year will have ornaments , red, gold, white, and silver, and picks, with thick sparkling red and gold ribbons, and with the main focus of red poinsettias from the top of my 10 ft. tree cascading down as an “S” shape to the bottom, the skirt is from Balsam Hill in red and gold I’m starting on Halloween, it usually takes me a week to decorate for Christmas
Honestly if I could afford to spend this much on Christmas decorations I would just hire someone to put my tree up. I can't focus long enough to put up a tree that big. I'm going on my third year with my tiny 4ft tree and still love it and love coming up with new ways to make it better. I'm definitely a keep Christmas simple and budget friendly person😂 but nonetheless this is some beautiful and dedicated work!
I really don't like the suggestions for replacing the kids' toy gifts. Box subscriptions are bringing more clutter into the house. I had Ipsy for 5 minutes and I also had Fab fit fun for two boxes, and then I stopped it. I was realizing how much stuff was coming in and how little of it I was actually using. I don't like the idea of getting the kids a membership to the zoo or museums either. Christmas gifts for small children should be special to them. It should be about their interests, not yours. My mother had a rule that if new things came in, at least one old thing had to leave. She started a tradition with us that I have carried on with my own son. You create a fun project with your kids by having them create a donation pile of toys they don't really play with or no longer enjoy. As a former ecde teacher and director, I really appreciated when people donated toys to the preschools. We have to sterilize the toys so often that they don't last that long. Having families that donate toys that are still in good condition is a godsend to us. But while children are little, they need to experience the same things that you did as a kid that create wonder and magic for them. If you know your child really wants something and it is within reason financially and morally, then why not get it for them? I can tell you that as someone who works with children of all ages, kids don't like gift cards. When it comes to children, sometimes adults need to step back and think like a child. My mom never told us that we were doing the toy cleaning out because of Santa. She would always make it very much about passing things on to other kids who may not have anything. In my own experience, I remember kind of getting excited about doing that project every summer.

I used to know all kinds of wholesalers that would buy thousands of dollars worth of product from Razz and other places and my favorite because I would go to Azle Texas and buy ribbon like crazy I would get some good buys because I was decorating homes and Banks commercially and stuff like that anyway I just heard about Paul Michaels a friend of mine used to go there and I had never heard of them however I wish I had because I love the ribbon that she gave me to use she and I are like really good friends and we love Christmas love love love love love love love it❤
Love what you got the glass churches definetly need a battery opperated tea light ... like the glory of God is shining in them. Love those trees and deer. My decor is still cutesy retro. I never find a manger scene I love, I did find a ginger bread one at Tj max but couldnt afford it. I really love the gingerbread this year. I may find a print and frame it of a manger scene and making that the focal point above my mantle. I do love the italian old manger scenes but they are pricey. I do have a small white one. I may start doing white and gold and gey a larger plain white manger scene I was curious on a more serious subject ... I really love the Lord and you really seem to be a believer but one thing I have a hard time with is loving the people I do love them but the way I am treated sometimes it is difficult for me sometimes people seem to want to hurt me and I dont do anything to deserve it. When I was thin and pretty people were nicer but not always sometimes they were mean because I was pretty they were not nice. How do I show love to a world that doesnt want it? Just by sharing the gospel? I am older and I still dont get it ... I guess like Jonah we dont know whos life we will touch. I love Romans I learned soo much but it is still difficult. That is strange that difficult has cult in it. I guess we just need to be obedient and love God when its hard to love people but it also says not to cast our pearls before swine. But than again that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. 😢😊❤ Anyway dont want to burden you with my problems. I will pray about it. God bless.
As someone who doesn’t have a good family and since moved out with my boyfriend who has a similar family we do things on our own we figured since thanksgiving is a time for me and him he just takes off work that day and we do things that we normally wouldn’t do we don’t eat the whole thanksgiving food or anything we just try a new recipe so I start early on my decorations a couple days after Halloween since we don’t do “thanksgiving” we’ve made it clear to family member we do stay in touch that we would gladly travel to their house for thanksgiving if In the future they want us in their lives. Just so we can focus on holidays that we enjoy and don’t bring a negative energy into our lives since for 20 years it has always been negative. I get this video is from past videos and just a compilation from last year everyone has to realize that every life is different and like my friends in Canada they’re thanksgiving isn’t in November so they can technically decorate since they’ve already celebrated. I think I’m general no matter who has decorated or not decorated we should be respectful of what every person has in their life’s and why people choose to do what they feel is best💙💙

I think I left a comment once before about flocked trees I love flocked trees that are something about them I do not like a bushy tree I like more of a wispy layered Legend type tree but I too bought my lights off of Amazon I was having trouble finding the twinkling only I don't like all those other functions so thank God these are twinkling they're fabulous of bought several boxes so far I've had no problems however I do love A Flock I love ribbon I noticed wire ribbon is getting so expensive it's outrageous and sadly I use the green wire even on the fog tree I've got to where I don't even worry about it the flogging is coming off because most of the green showing through keep up the good work

About what to get the kids for Christmas instead of toys , I know what you mean my grandson gets a lot of toy's and don't play with all of them we have to give them away lots of time so we are thinking about board games for toddlers , there's art and crafts , learning actives , books this is what we came up with maybe one or two toys that he really want , I hope this give you some ideas . To flock or not to flock?! I buy picks in the opposite treatment to add to my trees so you can either have all green/natural or all flocked, or a mix of both in each tree. That may be helpful to many of you who want to hop into a trend.

I think you can overdo the decorations sometimes. I like to decorate with the idea that less is more, a few beautiful pieces is what I like. I think sometimes using too much just makes it look like a shop.

I had Ipsy for 5 minutes and I also had Fab fit fun for two boxes, and then I stopped it. I was realizing how much stuff was coming in and how little of it I was actually using. I don't like the idea of getting the kids a membership to the zoo or museums either. Christmas gifts for small children should be special to them.
It should be about their interests, not yours.
My mother had a rule that if new things came in, at least one old thing had to leave.
She started a tradition with us that I have carried on with my own son. You create a fun project with your kids by having them create a donation pile of toys they don't really play with or no longer enjoy. As a former ecde teacher and director, I really appreciated when people donated toys to the preschools. We have to sterilize the toys so often that they don't last that long. Having families that donate toys that are still in good condition is a godsend to us. But while children are little, they need to experience the same things that you did as a kid that create wonder and magic for them. If you know your child really wants something and it is within reason financially and morally, then why not get it for them?
I can tell you that as someone who works with children of all ages, kids don't like gift cards. When it comes to children, sometimes adults need to step back and think like a child.
My mom never told us that we were doing the toy cleaning out because of Santa. She would always make it very much about passing things on to other kids who may not have anything. In my own experience, I remember kind of getting excited about doing that project every summer.

I used to know all kinds of wholesalers that would buy thousands of dollars worth of product from Razz and other places and my favorite because I would go to Azle Texas and buy ribbon like crazy I would get some good buys because I was decorating homes and Banks commercially and stuff like that anyway I just heard about Paul Michaels a friend of mine used to go there and I had never heard of them however I wish I had because I love the ribbon that she gave me to use she and I are like really good friends and we love Christmas love love love love love love love it❤
Always start with my French Country Kitchen! Tree,shelf’s,windows,center island.Then everything seems to fall in ,room by room.
Love what you got the glass churches definetly need a battery opperated tea light ... like the glory of God is shining in them. Love those trees and deer.

I never find a manger scene I love, I did find a ginger bread one at Tj max but couldnt afford it. I really love the gingerbread this year. I may find a print and frame it of a manger scene and making that the focal point above my mantle.
I do love the italian old manger scenes but they are pricey. I do have a small white one.
I may start doing white and gold and gey a larger plain white manger scene
I was curious on a more serious subject ... I really love the Lord and you really seem to be a believer but one thing I have a hard time with is loving the people I do love them but the way I am treated sometimes it is difficult for me sometimes people seem to want to hurt me and I dont do anything to deserve it. When I was thin and pretty people were nicer but not always sometimes they were mean because I was pretty they were not nice. How do I show love to a world that doesnt want it? Just by sharing the gospel? I am older and I still dont get it ... I guess like Jonah we dont know whos life we will touch.
I love Romans I learned soo much but it is still difficult. That is strange that difficult has cult in it. I guess we just need to be obedient and love God when its hard to love people but it also says not to cast our pearls before swine.
But than again that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. 😢😊❤

As someone who doesn’t have a good family and since moved out with my boyfriend who has a similar family we do things on our own we figured since thanksgiving is a time for me and him he just takes off work that day and we do things that we normally wouldn’t do we don’t eat the whole thanksgiving food or anything we just try a new recipe so I start early on my decorations a couple days after Halloween since we don’t do “thanksgiving” we’ve made it clear to family member we do stay in touch that we would gladly travel to their house for thanksgiving if In the future they want us in their lives. Just so we can focus on holidays that we enjoy and don’t bring a negative energy into our lives since for 20 years it has always been negative. I get this video is from past videos and just a compilation from last year everyone has to realize that every life is different and like my friends in Canada they’re thanksgiving isn’t in November so they can technically decorate since they’ve already celebrated. I think I’m general no matter who has decorated or not decorated we should be respectful of what every person has in their life’s and why people choose to do what they feel is best💙💙

I think I left a comment once before about flocked trees I love flocked trees that are something about them I do not like a bushy tree I like more of a wispy layered Legend type tree but I too bought my lights off of Amazon I was having trouble finding the twinkling only I don't like all those other functions so thank God these are twinkling they're fabulous of bought several boxes so far I've had no problems however I do love A Flock I love ribbon I noticed wire ribbon is getting so expensive it's outrageous and sadly I use the green wire even on the fog tree I've got to where I don't even worry about it the flogging is coming off because most of the green showing through keep up the good work

About what to get the kids for Christmas instead of toys , I know what you mean my grandson gets a lot of toy's and don't play with all of them we have to give them away lots of time so we are thinking about board games for toddlers , there's art and crafts , learning actives , books this is what we came up with maybe one or two toys that he really want , I hope this give you some ideas . Love what you doing with your mother's house as well it's beautiful.

To flock or not to flock?! I buy picks in the opposite treatment to add to my trees so you can either have all green/natural or all flocked, or a mix of both in each tree. That may be helpful to many of you who want to hop into a trend.
Being a bow maker I cannot stand these pre-bought bows however you can enhance them by taking the loops and fluffing them out❤
How do you decide where to place the ribbon? Do you make it look like it's a continously ribbon going up in a circular design or do you just go here and there, random. ?

I think you can overdo the decorations sometimes. I like to decorate with the idea that less is more, a few beautiful pieces is what I like. I think sometimes using too much just makes it look like a shop.

Good luck with those command hooks I listened to an idea with tiktok and using the command hooks for the curtain rod and it tore the paint and everything off the wall

I used the sticky putty to hold up my stocking holders too. you do have to use A LOT but helps to secure a little
for hanging garlands.. you can use regular command hooks with floral wire too
You do know they have a rotating base for fake trees. Then the tree will be seen all around and rotate with a clicker.
When you live in a huge house like that, you don’t have to do much. 🤣
