Jessie Maed was the first designer I discovered and I've made a few of her patterns since then! I love how detailed she is, plus she is the summer garment queen
Thank you for this beautiful video and the information ❤ I dddint really understand what you're explaining talking about the sheer v sweater. What do you have to pin before blocking??? Does anyone understood? ❤
I have to agree with the outline tee. I was on gauge and it was huge. It could be that the designer pays attention to the tension when she is swatching, but naturally knits tighter
Hello!! I’m so happy to find someone who’s knit the So Summer top! I’m a beginner at making garments and this may have been a bigger challenge to tackle than i’m ready for. I’m a little stumped at understanding how to separate the front from the back and knit flat! Do I hold the stitches for one side on spare yarn while I work the other?
So happy to hear that you are knitting the So summer, I think that you'll love it! Yes, you can place the the back stitches on a stitch holder while you work the front. You'll simply work row 1, then turn the work to work it flat rather than keep going at the side stitch marker. Hope that helps!
I love her patterns but the finished piece never seems to fit me quiet right. I think they’re a great jumping off point for mods. Glad to see I’m not entirely alone here!
Could you also add if the patterns are paid for or free? Loving your podcast. I’ve knit a LOT of Thea Colman patterns. Check her out. She lives cables.
Great suggestion! We don't tend to knit many free patterns, so you can assume the ones we've mentioned have been paid. The exception are patterns we've knit by Purl Soho! We can try to call out if a pattern is free in future episodes :)

Thanks for watching - we're glad you enjoyed it! We agree, truly the person to turn to for amazing summer patterns!
The maroon and the olive green go great together. You two should wear them at the same time. They look great!

Thanks...never tried her yet.
Wondering what that hot pink yarn behind you is... I ❤️ it!
The pink is a brushed mohair from Kaos Yarn! Thanks for watching :)
I am a beginner knitter and I will knit
Very nice girls. Lots of useful info. X
Thank you 🤗 We're glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for watching! There's something so powerful about being able to adjust knits to fit our bodies! It's one of the best things about it for sure!
