Exactly. Unlike these other mumble rappers who just say words that make no sense when put together. Dan's got both, good rhyme flow and deep meaningful lyrics.
Same. Wasn't as intense as I had hoped though. Would have wanted the "Real men don't cry" lines to be sung in a more neutral way to emphasize the drama. I was actually hoping to really breaking into tears as the first line got me good. The pause on the second one and the feeble voice were just a bit too soapy. I need more subtlety to empathize. That movie though. I had totally forgotten about it. Watched it a long time ago. Such a gem. Made me sob.
This video is probably the hardest video on TH-cam for me to watch. I could sit through the ten hour "Do you like my sword" by tobuscus before I could watch this twice in one day. It's such a farcry from the humor we come to expect from Dan. It's a heavy message, well portrayed in the video, and it makes us feel. I can't watch this without feeling scared, or sad, or angry. Good music makes you feel. And while I don't like how this makes me feel, I feel like I've grown for having felt it. Thanks

This movie really got to me, I don't get emotional about many things but damn this movie made me sad, I felt bad for combo, I don't think he was really racist more like a man who had absolutely nothing and just reached out and held on to someone else's belief.
