Roland is in the upper peninsula of Michigan - lots of mosquitos, forest pests, bears, wolves, wild cats, and sasquatch, lack of city services, lack of police, rural thugs and thieves, no street lights, gravel road, and from the looks of it - the critters have been busy violating that house! You easily spend $75K upgrading and repairing that place. Not worth it!
I would say no one has been living there for awhile it needs alot of work to restore, guy must of really been into garages ( was there 3) and the building with the pallet floor could of been a wood shed, your always looking Toni nothing wrong with that
Oh yes would have made a good wood shed and I think there is a wood stove of some kind . It has an electric meter still which means someone has been paying the bill ... Yeah I guess it is a weird hobby 🤓
@@tonirad9577 odd the electric meter I wonder what would still be running / pays the bill( if no one pays I would think the power would of been cut off)
I think a lot of times these places fall into disrepair when folks get old and fall into disrepair themselves . That’s just my guess . Or maybe as people age they cannot afford to make some of the costly repairs needed . It is kind of a mystery .
Nah it's little critters that caused all that damage . Squirrels and chipmunk 🐿️ and that sort of thing can cause a ton of damage . Have a great evening 🌃
@@tonirad9577 that's ok, that property restored would fetch $1.1 million NZ dollars easily and be sold in the first day it went on market. Yes things are expensive here
Nope sorry it sold pretty quick . I will keep my eye out though . The best thing to do is keep an eye out on Zillow if you are seriously looking . Good luck there are still some good deals out there !
I see props like that all the time. T-111 side board paneling. NO Way in HECK buy anything covered in that 70’s crap AND BTW, you DON”T want snow on the mountain anywhere.

@@tonirad9577 so someone must care somewhat for the place, odd they never keep the place up better

I think there must be bears in the area trying to get in the cabin.

That property would fetch $800,000 here in New Zealand. So about $490,000 u.s dollars. Fact.
Wow . I couldn’t afford to live there ! Thanks for watching and for the information .

Oh yes it will be a beautiful little place and worth a fair amount for someone who has the vision and some cash . Have a good evening 👋
Beautiful and water nearby???
Yes it is near a river . But it sold and is being restored .
I’ll pass. At 69 I really don’t want to be shoveling snow in the winter. I’ve been to Lake Orion in the winter.
It has sold and I drive by and see it is getting a makeover . Yep I would like to be a Winter Texan someday .
Is this house still up for sale?
