Nice little video. I also dropped mine, while trying to one hand catch an mSRX I was trying to get out of the way of.... lol.... don't ask. Then suddenly realized how handy a neck strap would be.
i have a dx6i transmitter and a AR6210 receiver(purchased before 4 months). i have hardly flown my birds 5-6 times with the new Tx-Rx. But today when i wanted to fly a trainer model, i found there is a range problem in my receiver. orange light of the receiver was constantly blinking. By range check test, i concluded the range was hardly 2 meters. can u please suggest me where is the problem?
Blinking Orange Lights can be caused by network or wifi interference try turning on your radio in another place or room in your house. or outside away from any other medal objects.
Thanks for your vid. Had someone accidentally break mine, getting the replacement today from A-main. I figured it would be as easy as it looked in your vid. The only issue I have is that tiny little connector and the thin-assed little board it connects to. Again, thanks!
That little connector has been my downfall. I thought the video instruction was great, but that little bit at 1min30secs is going to be most peoples downfall. It was amazing how easily it came away from the circuit board and now it is going back to Horizon to be fixed. Shame really, but needs to be stressed that this part is prone to break off. electricgeoff1
Looking at it, before it went back to HHUK, I wish I'd gripped the circuit board part of the clip with some other small pliers before attempting this, but hind-sight is a wonderful thing. ;(
4:16 Did you buy your Dx6i used, or from a non-Spektrum authorized dealer? Do you believe it could be a counterfeit product? I thought all the legitimate Spektrum transmitters had a statement on the silver sticker about "This device complies with FCC part 15." Also, most Spektrum transmitters include a PART NUMBER, not just a model number.
REALLY REALLY BE carefull with the little plug removal in video at 1min30secs into the removal operation. It comes off the circuit board VERY EASILY. So GREAT CARE required doing this. My Tx is on it's way to HH for repair now. Great video instruction, just fumble fingers maybe, but please be aware. electricgeoff1
Thanks for this Video. Just about to order a new Antenna.
Update you can put a small amount of hot glue on the ant wire to hold it in place if you think it might come lose...

Robert Would having a broken antenna make me have to bind my quad every time I use it? My antenna broke and now several problems arose with binding
Great video. Thanks!
Where did you get the replacement? Thanks for the video...
