    Dr. Marik is held in highest regard by anyone who knows him. I do not have the privilege, I was too shy to introduce myself during the last FLCCC conference which I attended; but Dr. Varon told me that when he is uncertain of what to do, he would call Paul. He is a fantastic doctor and even more - he is a fantastic human being. Despite of his age he is still very young, considering how curious he is. And he is very humble with a great sense of humor, I can testify to that. I think everyone needs to listen to this presentation and share it as widely as possible. :)

      No downside to his protocol. We used a Ketoscan to check ketones by breath, cut oxalates, used berberine instead of Metformin, and use L-Lysine. Oncologists in the US feed Ensure to chemo patients.... so do your own research.

    Valter Longo showed that a fasting-mimicking diet (FMD) immediately before a chemo infusion (to put the body into ketosis) protects normal cells while leaving cancer cells vulnerable to chemo. Consequently, such patients experience greatly lessened chemo side-effects which includes the dreaded "chemo brain."

All these 2 are doing is making GOVERNMENT GRANTS/TAXPAYERS FUNDS available to themselves. All we can do is hope that if we get cancer, then we'll die peacefully in our beds!

    Thank you for sharing this information. I'm not in the medical field but research everything and did the same when I was diagnosed with stage 1, TNBC last year. I was afraid to hear all of this info, but now that I've completed treatment, I know I made the right choice in where I was treated, as they also had a Naturopath to work with me throughout the process, and a lot of what you've outlined, I was able to do, and I hope to now live my life out, with a few tweaks. I lost 2 friends thru the process, to cancer stemming from BC, and have had 2 others diagnosed and undergoing treatment. To know that 1 in 3 people will get cancer in the near future is frustrating; but with this podcast, more people have info to make decisions with

    I'm so sad that I didn't have this info 8 months ago. Well, after LOTS of research on my own I had learned some of this info, but I didn't have it in a nice neat package to give to my hubby who had too much brain fog and was so sick that he opted to follow doctor orders. The doctor said to NOT supplement in any way. And the nutritionist told him that all the claims that sugar "feeds" the cancer have been debunked. Chemo lowered blast counts (AML leukemia) for the first cycle, but during the 2nd cycle, blast counts surpassed that of the first biopsy. Which made it easy for his doctor to convince him to go on a clinical trial. By then he'd pretty much given up and figured that was his last option. He made it one week into the trial before he began having severe reactions, which he was unable to overcome and finally succumbed in early March. Why do oncologists discourage alternate or supplemental treatments?? It might have saved my sweetheart's life!!

    Great info! I would only add that if you are taking vitamin D3, you also need to make sure you are getting enough K2 in the diet or as a supplement. The D3 helps to absorb calcium, and the K2 takes it out of the soft tissues (like the arteries for instance) and puts it in the bones and teeth where it belongs. I would also try to go for organic and grass fed foods to avoid pesticides and herbicides.

    Stunning! Thank you! Everyone is drinking the CoolAid _ even the Oncologists! I recently underwent Cancer surgery, plastic surgery, and 6 weeks of radiation (horrific experience). I’m practiced as an Occupational Therapist for 40 years, lead a very healthy lifestyle, live in the beautiful mountains …with 3 medical programs within an hour of my home (2x MD, 1x DO). When I started radiation, I asked to meet with the oncology nutritionist for advise. After chatting for less than 2 minutes, she shared, “keep doing what you are doing”! She didn’t even ask about my vitamin regime (I take Vit D, Omega 3, exercise, sleep 8 hours, try to keep stress down etc). I’m going for my post recovery checkup next month - the Oncology Team are in for a treat _ I will be sharing for information w them! Just like Co__d, it’s not right! Again, thank you for your work!

    Mammogram found my wife has invasive lobular carcinoma breast cancer. No Dr even talked to her on the phone for 10 days. That Dr was a radiation oncologist who I discovered in my wife's online portal was recommending radiation pre-surgery. But her tumor was under 5cm and they don't do radiation for them. Anyway, regarding her 4.2cm tumor;
    1 Radiation and 2 medical oncologists denied the Warburg effect, denied that cancer was anaerobic, denied that insulin was anabolic and caused tissue to grow!
    One oncologist told me to google 'the Krebs cycle'. But I had told her I've studied this stuff for many years and was familiar with glycolysis. When I asked about Dr Cantley and PI3-Kinase inhibition she said she only reads RCT's and doesn't have time for "chiropractors with a website". But Cantley is an eleite cancer researcher - HER field!
    Anyway, after the mammogram Dx, and no Dr would even call her, I suggested the protocol Dr Merrick describes. Instead of metformin we used berberine. We added broccoli sprouts, L-Lysine for the micro environment. We both went keto which I had done for years and knew of the anti-cancer probability. Using caution that she didn't go too ketogenic, because cancer hogs all the glucose carbs can provide, she went very ketogenic in short order, so she adjusted, but needed to test often.
    When she FINALLY had an MRI ordered 10 days later the MRI Radiologist noted that her tumor had shrunk 9.2% in 10 days.
    Because my wife couldn't trust them she decided against the chemo they were pushing, sadly. They were using invalid evidence including the flawed WHI study (women's health initiative). I was familiar with the study when one medical oncologist angrily showed me a "paper" from it that proved High-Fat/Low-Carb diets did no good. My eyes went right to the high fat group and it was a 29% fat macro which WILL increase all cause mortality in the presence of the carbs they ate. Also, that's a free-living, self-reporting estimation of macros from memory and from patients that were not sophisticated at all -dietarily. Note; the reviews of these oncologists were 5 star reviews, "She made me feel like I was listened to" and "She made me feel like she cared about me". Maybe but they don't care about you enough to learn basic physiology.
    Again, all oncologists denied the tumor size reduction after a similar protocol to Merrick's had anything significant and were actually annoyed at my valid, useful, and informed questions. They were literally idiots. We moved to Thailand and the care is MUCH better.
    NOTE: I had been aware of oxalates and oxalic acid for many years and limited it. I've read that oxalates are not good if you have cancer and we both avoid high oxalate foods now. Almonds and spinach are extremely high in oxalates.

    After listening to the whole podcast I wonder if it is possible to take too many anti oxidants. I have had heart surgery and have arthritis so I struggle with a lot of pain. Also high blood pressure. Otherwise I’m quite healthy for 74. But I’ve been taking quercitin since Covid, vit c, Berberine, cucumerin, co-q10, nattokinase and NAC. Maybe this is not as good an idea as I thought. Americans tend to think if one is good 10 will be better 😱,

    • @bobthrasher8226
      @bobthrasher8226 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I think he did mention that too many antioxidants could interfere with the immune system to deal with cancer. If the only reason you're taking that list of supplements is covid, then maybe you can slowly taper off them? If your doctor has a reason for them then you should consult. I think there are reasonable reasons besides covid for being on these but if it is just covid, I would focus on building a robust vitamin D level of 60 ng/dL.

      And magnesium with D3 also. 85-95 % of people are deficient in magnesium nowadays. It's supposed to be taken with D3 and K2

      @@thunderbird6777 First it was 40 %, then 50 %, then 70 %, and 80 % of people are magnesium deficient ! Now you say it’s 85 to 95 %. Where do you all get the numbers ? And what is the true estimate of people with magnesium deficiency. 😒😠😡

    Is it possible that cancer is both a metabolic and a somatic disease?
    Also, what do you think the mechanism is where high insulin levels seem to promote cancer?

    What is the reason for the timing of chemo infusion cycles? I suppose one is that a person needs to recover from a previous cycle. But, what if recovery were not a factor? What would the desired infusion cycle time be? Since many chemo meds only target cancer cells at a particular cycle is it possible that the infusions need to be far enough apart so that other cancer cells enter the "chemo-sensitive" state? "Other" than the ones impacted by the previous infusion?

    When you discuss the reasons for ‘cancer going up’ , why do you always leave out the most important reason, that being the use of pharmaceutical drugs, that is, medications and vaccines, etc. ???

    Rookwood Cemetery in Sydney has just taken delivery of new Kubota "skid steer" Bobcats. Salespeople at their head office use monthly unit sales GRAPHS too. Trust me people......... These smug nerds who make careers for themselves (like this one) aren't worth the electricity. Get some alcohol down them at a party, and then ask if there's EVER gonna be a cure for cancer within this Century!
