This is such a positive start to the season, I’m really hopeful of the Ineos project.
How refreshing is it to see United FINALLY acting like a well run football club again, with actual football people making the footballing decisions rather than an accountant who didn’t even watch the game.
Equally, how refreshing is it to have an owner who’s vocal about their plans, and more importantly, one who’s actually keeping to their promises, because they genuinely want to make United successful again, rather than seeing the club as nothing more than a personal piggybank.
Whether you wanted INEOS or not, only a fool with an agenda, would argue that what they’ve managed to achieve so far isn’t impressive. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Some of the things we’ve seen like getting Ashworth from Newcastle, Wilcox from Southampton, Ruud as assistant manager are genuinely impressive in their own right but others are slam dunkers to get the fans on side and correct obvious mistakes like getting rid of deadwood and bad eggs in Donny and Greenwood, renovating and investing in Carrington which is clearly miles out of date. Those are easy wins. Him being transparent was initially nice but there is a limit to it before it starts to backfire on SJR. It’s a low bar set by the Glazers for SJR to overcome in that regard. Plenty of work to be done but I’m cautiously optimistic. We certainly are closer to the right direction than before but I see plenty of bumps in the road. Although happy to be proven wrong.

FYI Zirkzee has already had 2 weeks of vacation prior to the European Cup. They picked him up from Disneyland after Brobbey got a bit of a injury during the friendlies before the actual tournament.

Do not expect him to score 20+ goals but he brings much much more to the team. Fantastic footballer. Immensely technical and perfectly complements our forwards including Hojlund Rashford Garnacho Amad etc
lol if he scored 20+ he would be among the best in the league.... he will not score more than 10 in 38games if he played every game in the league....
but hopefully he can have 5+ key passes in the final third / game

Unlikely we see the new players for the later pre season games. Players still need ro have their holidays, holland only came out of the euros a few days ago. Holidays are nornally 2-3 weeks, unless the players cut their holidays short its unlikely we'll see them and i doubt ten hags throwing rhem in for liverpool friendly with only 1 day or so training.
