It's mind-blowing to me to see how technology has improved. This video came out before I got into computers, and I just finished my 2nd build ever with a 13700k and 4090 Founders edition. In Fire Strike Ultra, I managed a 133% improvement. Each one of those Titans was $300 less than I paid for my 4090, and the 5960x was twice the price of my 13700k.

if your point was to show how cheap this build is, then you succeeded. Modern high-end PCs are easily more expensive than a house, or even buying out a restaurant. If you want a true high-end, future-proof PC, plan on spending at LEAST $100,000.00, but half a million is a more realistic budget, unless you wanna buy all your parts from a thrift store.
Source: I've built over a dozen PCs. Each one cost me over $5,000.00 each just in taxes.

DookieTheGaming Cat I never had a console to speak of. My computer is 8 years old now, an amd dual core 3.0 ghz, nvidia 630 gt, 6gb ddr2 800mhz ram. I basically cannot run new games at all. The most demanding game it can run I'd say is something like gta5, of course at low settings, anything above that NOPE, doesn't even start. I played console games only on net coffee or something, lol.
But hey, let's hope we'll both get rich, then we'll able to play anything at 4k xD

I think it is time for the Compensator 2.0 with 4 1080s in 4 way SLI with the new 10 core i7 from Intel with 128GB of RAM and a couple of 730 series SSDs. All watercooled in something like a 900D. This would be a crazy PC.

Matt D I agree. When I build a PC I look for this in a case: Quality, size, and tons of room for fans and or water cooling. (depending on what I'm doing) How it looks is secondary, what it can do performance wise will make what's on your monitor look better :) If there are a few options that meet all of that criteria, then I'll consider looks for the case.

because the processing power is so strong the best cpus for gaming out now can't keep. a process has to go through the cpu to the card. if you can have 4 cards you can run 4x faster since you aren't bottlenecking because of a card but titan xs can process so much information the cpus can't give more information to the last card. Even the 3rd card isn't running at to speed.

+Luke Sevenski only 2 or 3 mobos with 1151 for 4 way sli atm if not mistaken . evga z170 classified , gigabyte z170x gaming g1 and think asus ROG has one too. It uses a pex8747 switch allowing for 16x/x0/x16/x0 , etc etc
