I love how they write Danny as being this super holier than thou, high and mighty good guy who believes that because he is what he believes to be a good guy then naturally his teaching style MUST be better. Whereas Johnny is more steeped in the real world and is ACTUALLY a good teacher. I know it was played out as a joke, but when he said "I feel it out" when it comes to teaching students he was telling the truth, sometimes hes a super hardass and other times he uses softer tactics which eventually lead to toughening up the student.
