    Looks like the same method as micro links or a braidless sew in. Either way, it looks great on you Melissa!!

    Always wondered why you never tried these versus the tape method. Looks good! All my clients love hand tied links!

    For me this is the best method as well I’ve been able to take better care of my natural hair and scalp! With the proper treatments of oils, conditioning, minimal to no heat, etc. you won’t even need extensions anymore!

    Coconut oil helped me take out my tape in extensions myself. Saved money and barely no residue after I removed them.

      Nicole Amber same!! The first time i got mine removed the stylist sprayed like alcohol all over my hair then ripped them out so rough then the next time i just did it myself!

    Im a hairstylist in jersey also and do this method too, it’s been such a hit I absolutely love it, but try the weft hair from Bellami. It’s super super thick and great quality. A minor difference because it’s not hand tide it’s machine weft... which only means the stitching can be a little thicker but you’ll get great quality thick hair.

    Are you able to wash your hair daily or how is your hair care routine ? My hair is oily and I have to wash my hair daily and I'm worried I would ruin the extensions

    • @itsmelissaflores
      @itsmelissaflores  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used to wash my hair everyday (it was super oily) but what I learned was that your hair will produce oils quicker when you wash it everyday. Try doing every other day and then a few days at a time to train your hair not produce as much oil each day that quickly

    Be careful - I have heard that there is no healthy way to 'move up' hand-tied extensions. The beads should always be removed and replaced and the hair combed out, otherwise it is damaging to the natural hair. Not sure how true this is. Thanks for this wonderful video.

    • @itsmelissaflores
      @itsmelissaflores  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I mentioned the hair cost in the video but yes hard to give an exact price because it’s going to depend on how much hair you want, the length, grams and which brand you go with. And a hairstylist typically charge a couple 109 for installation.

  • @jodieodie834
    @jodieodie834 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    What is average total price for this?!?

    • @itsmelissaflores
      @itsmelissaflores  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mentioned the hair cost in the video. But again it’s really going to vary on length of hair, how many grams you want and which brand you go with. The longer and more hair you get it can range into $600 for hair

      @@143ea nice response. Stop with the white people bullshit, it makes people look and sound pathetic. She very well could've said "some people" or "certain people" but she "white people". If any white person said anything and inserted " black people" people would go nuts, me included because that too, sounds pathetic. If you want to make a statement about hair extensions what does race have to do with it? Absolutely nothing.

    • @jenf836

      The comments below must be from non black people. This is a technique used in black salons for years. I saw another girl talked bout this and proceeded to say this woman created. She does all the girls on the bachelor. BS!!!!!! This is called a braidless sew in. White people have stole it and renamed it. White people isnt a bad term it’s what it they are.
