    Do you have a video that shows how you do the move up of the bead on follow up appointments? Also, when you sew, it’s next to the beads correct, not trying to go though them, correct?

    • @MirellaManelli
      @MirellaManelli  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes I do! I wish I could link it for you but it is under the hair extensions playlist. All beads are sewn on the sides.

    Nice job and so helpful! Question, if I have a nape of neck length bob and quite full hair, and I want to have long extensions like 22”, would I be better off doing 3 rows of 2 wefts instead of only 2 rows of more wefts? Thx in advance! 😀💜

    I've been watching so many tutorials, but still wondering if the thread is going through the bead? or through the beaded section of hair (not the bead). I've been certified in the hand wefts but the company I went through taught a different method with the beads laying to the side, essentially making a track to sew into. I really want to try out this method but don't want to create any damage from improper sewing

    • @ivoryjackson5969
      @ivoryjackson5969 ปีที่แล้ว

      The thread is not going through the bead it is going through the hair. The bead is just there for support so the track doesn't slip.

  • @sithakhounborinh5181

    Her hair is not thin and fine...if my hair was that thick I would be thrilled. I would love to get extensions, but I think my hair is too thin for them to look good, and I am afraid it would cause my hair to fall out. Great video, you do a great job!

    • @MirellaManelli
      @MirellaManelli  2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      I use Donna Bella silicone beads and haven't had any troubles. I also make sure the hair is cleaned with clarifying shampoo if they tend to be greasy. I also make sure to lock the bead in the center and the sides for fine hair. Basically pressing down 3 times on the bead. Hope this helps

    Why would you do kera-links in between the wefts rather than just clamping the beads to just her natural?

    • @MirellaManelli
      @MirellaManelli  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kera links are the lightest weight extensions with the most customization. They are the best for super fine hair on the hair line.

    I had a lady that did such a terrible job but was absolutely adamant that she did things right. Ive had them done plenty of times before to know.
    First the bead was big which I said that due to my thin hair big beads do not work on me and are very visible, then the placement was so OFF I had to actively try to hide the very obvious extensions sticking out on the side of my head. Then she did them so tight my head hurt for more than a week and she told me that was "normal". Then she claimed she was adding "volume to my crown" but placed my extensions mainly on the lower back of my head.
    Then when I explained what I didnt like, she argued and said big beads are fine, placement is fine and it's supposed to make your head hurt. No wonder she charged a fraction of the cost of other stylists for extensions. She did awful and worse was her not listening to her clients.
    I went back to someone else only to have them removed bc they were embarrassing. All while she was styling another client not too far from me and seemed to glare at me pretty ugly.

    Hey Mirella I would like to know how exactly You do the sewing. Can You show it without the hair ? Or draw the loops? I don't get how the ring is holding it, because here I saw ppl going with the needle throughout the ring to adjust. But I think Your method is different 🤔

    Love your work!!! I’ve been doing hair extensions since 1998! Yikes right . I helped launch Hairlocs and all these new hair companies all went through Hairloc training then opened their own and relabeled the “method”. I have been away from wefts for awhile and wondered - can you get the weft high enough on the top to look like the underneath? Where you don’t see that part on top? I wondered how some stylist an get it to line up with the part doing it the way your doing . I can get it lined up just locking them in but adding sewing really insures they don’t slip out. Hope I’m asking a clear question.. by far your tutorial is one of the best I’ve seen thank you so much

    I like the keratin singles near the sides and I'll tell you why. I was doing this same way in the back, but noticed it's chunky and unpleasant on the sides when you get to the ear areas. You can't really wear ponytails and stuff with the wefts there. It's harder to manage too. Wefts should only be on the back extended right when you come close to ears. Especially when your adding extra thickness and less sections. I have 3 double weft sections for thickness. The Keretin part is what I need to change and shorten the other 3 weft sections from both left and right sides at the back. Hopefully im explaining this right lol.

Did her hair not allow a third row? I just don’t know with your experience how you would do that? I know with thin hair often 4 pieces of hair is not enough! Almost takes 6-8

    I just got these installed,
    Will there be any damage to your natural hair? I have extremely fine hair.

    Ficou perfeita a colocação mas faltou outra tela para um melhor acabamento e não precisar destruir o megahair!!!

    This video, along with the consultation I had with my preferred stylist, definitely gave me the confidence with choosing how I wanted to do extensions ❤❤❤ I've had beeded extensions done before but felt too heavy on my thinner strands.
    Im really looking forward to the process now and know that there are professionals that really understand customization
