This is my vote for best stadium in college football. It is a historic bowl, has amazing views & scenery, and the recent renovation made it into a first class facility. I love it.
I love that there is somebody out there just like myself. College football stadiums, towns, uniforms, all of it. Any time I’m in a college town, I do the same exact thing. If it makes you feel better, I couldn’t get in to Husky Stadium either. That place is locked down like a prison.
In August 2019, I visited the Princeton University football stadium when it was empty. I walked around the inside the stadium, walked on the field, went into the locker room, and even walked into the shower room. There was no security there whatsoever. I even saw a few plays written on white boards in the locker room. I could have been a spy for rival teams for all they knew. It’s insane how much I was able to see without anyone stopping me.
Sick video my buddy actually just transferred from Cal to UCLA as a kicker but getting a closer look at some of this is sick man. Also the locker room if fkn legit I actually got to see that myself when I visited 👍
Great overall tour of the stadium, but you probably should have gone past the rugby stadium and checked out the view of the stadium (and the Bay and SF) from up on Tightwad Hill
Did this same walk on challenge once, and someone I was with got locked inside the press box, we had to run up there and unlock it from the outside before security found us.
Damn this just made me insanely homesick. Last game I saw at memorial stadium was cal vs Michigan state before they did renovations. Ironically, I ended up in East Lansing.
