Well hello
hi there
I gotta be honest, I prefer this over the original. Yasui would be proud if he came across this.
Massive X more like Massive W
Damn, this slaps
You are good son, real good, maybe even the best. -Soldier TF2
love this cover. MASSIVE X my beloved
Wow, I get to hear TWO Massive X remixes today??
what was the other one?
@@pinkcreeper100 ismtud's cover i linked in this video's description
To me, this is the musical equivalent of hypomania. Fluctuating, unhinged, tense, and inconsolable.
Good job!
This whole thing is fantastic, but the intro sounds especially funky! Fantastic arrange!
That X sure is Massive alright
One might say it's Xcessive
Goooooood morning
gotta love these beats
Well, this DOPE!!! This one goes straight forward, hard and heavy 🤘😎🤘 I love that voicebox sound
Absolute banger
whoa opz!
nice job, reminds me of thunder force iv
Actually better than the original holy shit
Been jamming out to this in Furnace today. I love this! Keep up the great work!
love the chord instrument, i think i had an idea like this long ago
Nice OPZ cover of the song, those are some nice FM drums!😄🤩😎👌
This is epic. Might pull the trigger on a Korg Z3 guitar synth because of this and other songs. The Z3 has the YM2414 as its soundchip.
OMFG
I was making a cover on the same song and same sound chips lmao (this sounds absolutely amazing)
i wanna hear your version 😳
@@64Abstract it does not sound good.
its okay, im still interested to see it
@@Music_Boi_JBoy Hey champ, I also want to hear your version 😳 bet it's as fire as this one
@@64Abstract oh wait i just realized the song i made is not the same song that you made a remix of lmao
Massive version, good job.
oh I love this
nice
wild
You inspired me to do a cover! :P
HOWWWW
Im not your daddy Im your grandpa
MY FAVORITE FROM HIM IS COUNTERSTRIKE
Seeing how you love Yasui (understandable), I'm curious if you've thought about covering any of his collaborators? Like Saso Ayako's Ginga Force stage 6 theme, _Free Flight,_ which I feel matches with the rest of the game while still having its own musical identity. I mean, if not, there's plenty of Yasui bangers between your originals! Just a thought I had.
god i want to cover ginga force too lmao
@@64Abstract It has so many fiery hot jams! (Then again, which Yasui game doesn't?)
why do fm drums always sound so S P I C Y
I finally found it!
apparently, this banger of a track is in the furnace demos folder, but you didn't add your name in the artist section. (I've been searching everywhere on TH-cam for the original artist. alas, here i am)
very sorry on my end that i didnt put in the name :(
@@64Abstract eh, it's okay. at least i found out that you're the one that made this cover.
i still can't believe that the .fur file is just about 6KB in size. 🤯
the world definitely needs more furnace OPZ stuff. (it feels like the YM2414 (OPZ) is a souped up version of the Yamaha YM2151 (OPM), but i could be wrong about that)
@@LondenTower it reminds me more of something between opl2 and 3 with triangle waves, reverb, and other stuff
@@tl1882 Kind-of in a way i guess.
But let's not begin about the Crystal ESFM, cause that OPL3 clone is absolutely OP!
Every channel can do 4-op and can even do per-operator stereo panning! (And it's true potential had only been shown recently thanks to @akumanatt by winning the Furnace ESFM contest with the tune: ESFuMados. I honestly can't believe that an OPL3 clone can even sound like that, let alone considering that this could legit play on a DOS PC)
Don't give this guy an opz chip again.
What the chip is a Opz?
a chip used inside the Yamaha TX81Z, rackmounted FM synth module. it's basically a buffed OPM
YM2414 (or the rare 2424), 8-ch 4-op FM synth with 8 selectable algorithms and 8 selectable waveforms. It was designed as a successor to the OPM but it was only used in synths AFAIK. Mostly the DX11 and its rack mounted form, the TX81Z. First released in 1987 I believe
If someone were to create a Genesis/Megadrive 2.0 and name it Neptune. I want it to have that sound chip
When the Hardest is on fire on areas 5, 15 and 20
hey this isn't native instruments
