This game looks like it was originally going to be released for arcade machines with the Sega NAOMI board. But its development has been delayed until it was cancelled, and was not resumed until several years later but this time for home release for consoles.
For many years, Raiden IV was my favourite on my upright tate CRT arcade PC setup.... Until Eschatos. As if the game wasn't incredible enough the music is like Silver Fang on steroids. \,,/
