Phenomenal performance by NRG. Garrett and Squishy played incredibly well, Justin as well. But when he gets his hands on some sour patch kids this finale it's game over for SSG. Fantastic series by G2 as well. Dreaz too op.

Honestly a travesty that this wasn't the grand finals. SSG did not deserve to be in the FInals imo. The skill level difference between G2 and NRG is negligible. Either could be the best team on any given day.

Nope. Justin and squishy play their own game, Garrett recognised Dreaz's weakness in defence and was using it to his advantage throughout. Retals and Arsenal are even more cunning than Garrett and would have abused it for sure. It's all about the matchups.

Keep in mind when nrg is about to go up against ssg. This was the best g2 has played since season 9. They also played a very demo heavy game which is honestly just a warm up for ssg. Garrett and squishy played extremely well and thats without justin playing his usual semifinal game, and they still beat g2. Assuming justin eats some sour patch before the finals, i got nrg in both series.

This made me realize that G2 is near NRG when it comes to skill. Even when NRG has squishy garretg and jstn. But G2 held their own. Pretty evenly matched teams. I also wish kronovi was back :(

I wish there was more play by play from the commentators. Everything is more hype with play by play, especially when it's a nice pass, or in the middle of an air dribble. Every sport does it at least 90% of the time except for RL.
It wasn't even like Psyonix chose. Epic Games, the company that bought out Psyonix, literally said they don't plan on having land until Spring of 2022 OR if covid dies down enough.

They have always take player safety as a top priority and any sort of lan would have just been a complete joke and not a good tournament to come back to.

I watched this super late, but Garret G is really top tier. This is a joke but I think they tell NRG to take the L for money sometimes to give the other teams a chance. Garrett, Justin, but ESPECIALLY Squishy are just nasty players individually, even nastier together.

For Dreaz? Hell yeah man. Despite the loss, this was a classic series. Not always flashy, but intense from buzzer to buzzer. The kids got the skills, he just needs the pro level senses. You can see it in there at times, but with a year or two of real play, he's gonna be a monster on the field. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see them take Worlds in 2023. It would likely end up a super tough series in the end, but if you told me G2 was hitting and winning worlds in 2023 I wouldn't deny it at all.
