You can tell Jaxon's parents loved all kinds of music and must have played those songs a lot in his formative years, because he's familiar with so many artists, both old and new, in all the videos he appears in.

Princess Diana's funeral is the only time Elton John played that version of "Candle in the Wind", and after the funeral service, he made a statement that he would never perform that song ever again. Princess Di was one of his best friends, and was by his side at the funeral of Versace just a few short weeks prior to her own death. She is still so very much loved and missed by so many.

I’ve loved Elton John since I was young and I’d never gone to a concert before so I figured my first should be his farewell tour in Tacoma. It was AMAZING. He outfit changed three times, his piano rolled around the stage, and he ascended into the heavens at the end while singing yellow brick road. Absolute 10/10.

I saw him in Hershey, PA last year (show was delayed by COVID, was originally scheduled for 4/20/20, very bad timing) and it was great. I watched his final US show live-ish on Disney+ and when he ascended at the end I laughed because he stopped to pull his pants up first but then cried.

Fun fact: In 2016, Johnny the gorilla sang I'm Still Standing in the movie Sing. In 2019, Taron Egerton, who played Johnny, played Elton John in the movie Rocketman and got to sing I'm Still Standing for a second time (Elton said that he wanted Taron Egerton to sing the songs instead of Taron pretending to sing and someone adding his voice in later).

@@gaffer2602 That's not the only funny fact about the first Kingsmen movie when it comes to the cast.
In the original comic it's loosely based on, one of the people that gets kidnapped is none other than Mark Hamill himself.
In the movie, they changed it to a random professor...who was played by Mark Hamill.

It was hard for him to sing at Diana's funeral because she was a personal friend- they'd had a falling out, and had only reconciled a very short time before she was killed. "Candle in the Wind" was originally about Marilyn Monroe, but Elton and his songwriting partner, Bernie Taupin, reworked it to honor Diana.

I love how young people know all the words and notes of Elton John! Wow. And the dude in the yellow jacket needs to go into music as a career.

It would be LEGENDARY to have Sir Elton React to this React video. Full circle of appreciation. Also, Jaxon hahaha love that kiddo, such a cool young person.

The fact that these teens don’t know that Sir. Elton and Diana were best friends is tragic.

As a 25 year old; I'm proud to say I know all these songs thanks to my parents listening to them over the years 😊 To tell the truth I only know a handful of songs from this century and they're all country! I mainly listen to what my parents and grandparents grew up listening to 🙂

The way these kids didnt feel the emotions boil in the clip of Diana's funeral speaks a lot. Her death was the first big news thing I remember in my life. I was 6. The way Elton John held himself together to sing was incredible, him and Diana were close friends. 😢she is still loved by so many

One of them actually commented on how hard it must have been to sing that song at her funeral that day I thought.

I LOVE the reactions and singing montages! It's so good to see youth that are cultured in older music in this era of instant entertainment and 15-30 second video scrolls.......👏👏👏. Now I'm off to listen to Sir Elton!
