Great video Steve, thanks for going into a bit of detail. For the reasons you've mentioned, these were factors in me getting one of these bike rather than something from the Austrian family. Regarding your Barrett exhaust, how are you finding it as far as noise on the road goes? Not too annoying on longer trips, or obnoxiously loud for other road users?
Thanks James, yeah the Barret is perfect mate. I had the noise problem on the 480 and the 690. The Wings exhaust on the 690 was really loud till I put the decibel killer in it then it was fine. I find loud exhausts really annoying for everyone. The Barret comes with two inserts one for the end of the silencer and a cone for the start of the silencer. I've got both in and it's perfect imo. Hi Jim, Yeah Absolutely. Is a broken wire unique to Tenere's..... no. I now know how I can diagnose all the electrical issues and there is a chance the error code will tell stupid Steve any way.... lmfao. It's actually given me more confidence. A DR and these sorts of bikes are a bit simpler than the latest models so a hell of a lot easier to fix on the side of the road Regards Steve

Always a good idea to wire in a cheap volt meter from ebay and mounted on the dash.
Yeah going to replace my current usb with a usb/volt meter. Great idea
