To me, Jessica is still the best actress who played Susan Storm aka The Invisible Woman of the Fantastic Four! Some people believe this was her best movie performance that she's ever done!🕓
My favorite portrayal will always be from Fantastic 4: World's Greatest Heroes (2006). It takes the characters best traits and fully embraces it, witty, clever, badass, and having a fun personality. So, she was both hot to look at but also alot of fun, meaning we got the best of both worlds.
I can't wait to see the MCU version of Susan Storm, the Invisible Woman and I think Vanessa Kirby is the right choice for Susan Storm in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!!!
@@dylansharp8471 It's a rumor. And it makes sense, because it goes along with the direction Iger and Fiege have set. Anyway, I just hope Sue has a personality, and not just be the typical masculine Mary Sue Girlboss Disney has been pushing.
It WAS in a comic book, Fantastic Four #1 to be exact which came out in November 1961. The first Fantastic Four animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera first aired in September 1967.
Regarding Sue being the focus of the movie and the leader (which is a rumor), at least one person on TH-cam thinks they are going to turn Reed into the Maker. Sue being the focus would seem to add credence to this idea. IMO it's a bad idea, and Reed should be the new Tony Stark essentially. Also, this would lead Marvel to replace Reed in future versions of the FF. I know the team has had replacements now and then, but the real appeal of the FF is the original four as a family. Other groups can interchange members freely without harm, but not the FF.
Jessica Alba is an awesome Sue Storm but before her was the original Susan Storm, Rebecca Staab of the 1994 (unfortunately) un-released Fantastic Four movie (as shown is this video) that to me is probably the most authentic and realistic FF4 movie ever made. Staab was a bomb like no other and the perfect Sue Richards. Marvel-Hollywood is so twisted as to wastebasket their probably best FF4 movie ever made.
I didn't understand how Sue Storm (Kate Mara) got her powers in Fantastic Four (2015) because she wasn't with Reed, Ben and Johnny when they went to Planet Zero, she was on Earth working the controls. I didn't care for the look of The Thing and his voice, but I have to admit Michael B. Jordan looked cooler on fire than Chris Evans did.
Her FIRST APPEARANCE was in the comic book in 1961. As far as actresses, Alba did ok playing not-Susan as Susan is a badass and powerful woman. Not a whiney girl.
I'm glad that Vanessa Kirby got this role. For some reason she's not talked about enough outside of Mission Impossible. With Susan Storm presumably being the main protagonist/the heart of the Fantastic Four in the MCU, they could've have picked a better actress.
I will say the casting for sue doesn’t need a actor with blonde hair as most heroes with blonde hair doesn’t always mean it’s natural for the character, the eye colour as long as they were blue contacts im happy
Only 2% of the population has blonde hair, & blonde hair darkens with age. Most "blonde" actresses probably dye their hair, so casting Alba & Mara isn't really different than casting any so called blonde actress. Either way, the actress is going to dye their hair or wear a wig.
They should have cast Charlotte McKinney. She's way hotter and 5 years younger than Vanessa. But on the other hand, she will have to be invisible, so maybe Vanessa is the perfect choice.
Devolution (actually). Each new iteration of Sue (post Jessica) has been worse than the previous iteration. Not for the talents of the Actors, but (as always) because of the writing. Terrible writing causes terrible character reactions/interpretations. A good actor can soften the awful writing...but only so far. In the end, garbage dialog is still garbage dialog, whether spoken by Sir Patrick Stewart or by Vincent (our pizza delivery guy).
Jessica Alba was my favorite Invisible Woman, She's gorgeous and I really love her when I was a teenager
same

MCU invisible woman is such perfect casting, can’t wait for the movie!
same Vanessa Kirby is going to rock

Love this and her hair too 🔥

@@UltimateSpider1385 not to mention she is going to be the leader! No doubt she will be my favorite!

@@UltimateSpider1385Do you think she'll team up with the other MCU heroes?
Pamela Anderson played Invisible Girl in Superhero Movie (2008).
Her first appearance was in a cartoon? Man...could've sworn it was in a comic book 😆
It WAS in a comic book, Fantastic Four #1 to be exact which came out in November 1961.

I'm sorry for the confusion, but I meant her first appearance on screen, since this video is about films and tv series.
@@EvolutionLab I know brother, I was just messing around. Thumbs up from me 🙂
The first live action movie is The Fantastic Four 1994 by Roger Corman.
🤍 you #INVISIBLE WOMEN 1 Septillion times.
Kate Mara nailed it.

2005-2006, Alba is best.

I like Jessica alba as invisible woman
Wow amazing so interesting
Kelly Carlson, Virginia Madsen, Emilia Clarke and Anna Hutchison would have all made a good Susan Storm.
I’m sorry I don’t care, the 2025 version of the Sue Storm still ain’t got nothing on Jessica Alba. 💯
You haven't even seen the film yet

I wish I could see Milana Vayntrub as Squirrel Girl in the unaired New Warriors pilot.

I like Kate Mara, but that movie stunk.
The TVA have probably pruned that timeline by now. That was a mess..
I'm still not 100% sold on newest actress for Sue, but that thumbnail made he look better.
It rly didn’t. In comparison.
@@noizusagi6901not better than Alba, just better than I've seen of other pictures of her.
Sue looked so sexy in the season 2 outfit of the animated series.

Sue storm died in the silver surfer live action fantastic 4 movie but she got revived by silver surfer becuase silver surfer and sue had a connection

Jane Grey and Sue Storm are excellent models -> why not « Jane Storm » in the future …?
Vanessa Kirby is perfect for invisible woman.
she's a good choice but I wouldn't say perfect
They should have cast Charlotte McKinney.

She was never hotter than when she had her brother's powers.
too bad we didn't get to see much of the real invisible woman in earth's mightiest heroes
We need STORM from x men please😢
I love her with a bob
And they got it wrong gezzz
2005 back when a black halle barry would play a blonde white character
Catwoman isn't supposed to be blonde.
