I personally think Apple should have made the battery connector also supply data and add a USB-C port on the battery itself. It would have much more sense over replacing the audio strap.
It's pretty cool that the engineers already built in thunderbolt connectivity into the hardware. I hope they unlock it soon (probably having to do with some of the bigger changes (like persona config, idk) where faster and better connectivity would be necessary for working it into complete avatars (instead of just a floating head))
Great video. I am not a techie, but I love to listen to knowledgeable people discuss technology. Not sure if this is the same but have you seen the video from a coder who demonstrates how to create 60 sec, 4k screen recordings to demo to clients? He also said it has 3D effects. He did not use the tool you have.
Hello, I recently purchased Vision Pro, but it was deactivated while I was entering the password, perhaps because I set it incorrectly. Is it true that if you purchase a developer strap, you can reset it? If yes, what is the method?
I think I might abandon HDR, sorry, it's just not worth the effort. People complain about it, and it increases my turnaround time drastically. Not to mention TH-cam takes forever to process it. I might still do it occasionally, but not for everyday videos.

Right, then how can they make more money, LOL
Nice video. You really help everyone to have the correct info about the Thunderbolt capability from some misleading information.
Excellent review as usual Jeff!
The fit is giving Marty McFly vibe 👍🏾Keep up the good work!
I figured I might as well since the Vision Pro is from the future. :-) - Jeff

Thanks! And no I haven't seen that, mind linking me?
@@9to5Mac no problem, I have trouble with links in TH-cam, but his channel is “Coderman” and he put the video yesterday. ❤️
FYI your fe80: link-local ipv6 address includes in its second half the MAC (ethernet address) that you blurred out just above it.
Which mic stand is that you're using Jeff?
I wonder if someone could make a app that would see a ssd drive connected
Can you use a flash drive on the port; to watch videos etc?
Negative.
can you stream a live feed out to a PC using this?

Does dev-strap eliminate input lag completely by using VP as mac display?
even if it was the fastest cable in the world there is always lag, you can reduce it to almost zero but never zero
Where's HDR?? Jeff

What is the benefit of downgrading Vision OS
?
The last thing nerds need is a developer strap on.
300$.... for a usb c dangle???!
$300 for a pease of plastic. Unbelievable
For the 5 people who can buy one.
Get a job.
@@PSYCHOV3N0M no. My daddy bought me one 😊
