Cannot compare small countries with 5 million people(or city state) with larger population and lots of international traffic! Japan is doing quite well,considering they have over one hundred million people in a small archipelago!🇯🇵

If this was about the cleanest countries in Europe I would agree. However some of these countries do not stack up against Japan and Singapore
Absolute agree!!! Around my house in the UK the traffic pollution is so bad that I can hardly open the window, but in Japan I can keep the window open day and night. Also the mix of rural and industrial areas in the comparison is questionable.
Before I visited Japan, I thought Sing was the cleanest country I had ever seen (and it’s extremely clean). But after visiting quite a few times in Japan, I concluded that they could give Sing lessons. Both are absolutely amazingly clean countries.

Malaysia very very far. And getting worst. Rubbish every where on the road side. Very dissappointed. Our street cleaners are the best, they throw all rubbish behind the trees, bushes and when we tell them don't do it, they take revenge by bring their own group to do it in front of you.
I visited malaysia last august and i would say it is cleaner than other asian or african countries.
I visited UK in 2022. It is not cleaned as described in this video but yes I visited Austria and this country I found very cleaned and organized like Switzerland

I live in the UK - it is fairly clean. Residential streets are often very clean, while there is rubbish around bus stops and in bushes. Where did you go in the UK?

Well, I am German myself and I've been to many European countries in the last 10 years. What can I say? I am not really seeing Germany, France or, say, England as being" clean", at least not anymore. Ireland, Hungary, Poland, Sweden, Denmark and Switzerland were by far the nicest when it comes to cleanliness. But then again: It probably depends on the city anyway.

I've been to many countries. The UK is incredibly clean by comparison.
London is terrible but there is alot of green space and fresh air outside of the capitol.
Canada especially Edmonton is Filthy. The River Valley with all the homeless people leaving their junk is disgusting.

Now, I can't stop traveling. Even for two days in neighboring countries.
Your mindset would change the moment you visit another country.
A friendly advice: 1. Don't wait until you find company. Travel solo instead. It's very difficult to find someone who has the same spare time with you, the budget and the love for adventure.
2. Travelling is not that expensive. You can always fly with a low cost and stay in a hostel.

Singapore is ONLY clean in public area by heavy punishment in terms of rubbish! I lived in Singapore for 3years and you probably never been to Norway where famous fish market port has 10meter crystal clear sea water where you can see the coin at thd bottom. You also forgot about months of haze from Indonesia yearly. Japan is definitely cleaner than Singapore by all means.

No way. Are you kidding? I did a tour of Ireland in 2019 and of UK in the end of that year and UK was way above. We all felt so much more relaxed in the UK but did keep away from London.

Agreed . Certainly dropping litter and spitting gum on the pavements is a filthy habit and we are guilty of it but it doesn’t actually impinge on air quality .
@@carolthomas8528 Yes, you are right. I don't want to knock the UK - far too many do that already - but another consideration when thinking about being clean is the sewage we dump in our rivers and seas. Again, though, no impact there on air quality.
my friends and I were so lucky that we have visited PARIS FRANCE VIENNA AUSTRIA and SWITZERLAND we also visited BARCELONA SPAIN MONACCO and MILAN ITALY so sad that they are not included in the list

I don't agree with you guy, Life expectancy is contributed by number of factors such as correct food habits,daily activities,mental health,etc.there's lesser known fact about "Cleanliness"contributing to longevity!!
