I’ve been playing for almost 35 years. This took me back to my early days of playing. This is a prodigy. You can’t be taught this. You have to be born with it. He not just loves music. He lives it. Such fluid motion. Such passion. This is genuine. May God truly bless this young man.

I agree. I have an MM in organ performance, and he’s playing unusually well. It may be based on a simple sequence, but he uses multiple techniques, and his playing is very fluid and effortless within this style.
This is FAR more impressive than those 3-yr-old child prodigies that play classical pieces like a machine. This has artistic maturity well beyond his years!
i agree this guys super talented, but comparing his skillset to a classical pianist is unfair. i bet this kid has killed classical pieces and it wasnt appreciated just because it was classical music
I love his mad skills, heck, I love the kid! There is no comparison, however, of this to classical music. Many have learned to play like this without ever being able to read music. Can't say the same about classical music. I honestly don't care what genre of music a prodigy plays -- it is a thing of wonder and amazement to behold, regardless of the genre.

My dad was too. Became the church pianist back in the 30s,40s. I got a chance to hear him in the 70s as we cleaned the church. He still had it. They said the church was on fire when he played...COGIC.

I believe his father didn't know of his talent until one day he heard music coming from the basement, went down, and saw his autistic son playing with the skills of a savant. The story was run, and an older man, a piano tuner, came forward to give him a grand piano plus a piano teacher. The teacher showed him the things the 10 year old was unaware of, and his skills went through the roof. He is an autistic savant, a musical genius. There are several stories on the internet about him.
How does one learn how to play like this. What kind of playing style is this. I would look for a tutor but I need to know the name of this playing style.

They knew why they placed him in the back out of sight but it didn’t work. People are drawn to those who feel on a deep and passionate level. The camera phones were out in the back. Now about his piano playing skills…truly incredible. I saw him channel Stevie Wonder during this performance. The emotions were so high that he had to stand up.
