"The Tumbler" is my favorite. Chris Nolan and his people did an outstanding job.
The Tumbler is quite possibly the manliest, baddest vehicle on the planet.

Oh, my Goooooooood! What, are you crazy? THE TUMBLER! It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. God, I'm gonna study automotive engineering and mechanics just to be able to build one of these one day.
So the batmobile in Dark Knight trilogy actually can go outside and pancake other cars......damn, thats real badass
I'm really stuck between the Tumbler and the Burton one. They each suited their respected films so perfectly, which were both so very different so it is hard to compare them. When I think "Batmobile" I think of either the Burton one or the Animated series one from the nineties with Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill because I grew up with those, but the Tumbler was so realistic and practical. It seemed like something Batman would actually have used if he existed in real life. The Burton one was cool with the style and gadgets and stuff but realistically the gadgets would take up a lot of space and would have very limited use in the real world, however that's not what that movie worried about like the Nolan ones did. So I would have to say it's a tie for me. Practical vs Iconic. Realistic vs Stylistic. I can't choose.
It's not just the Tumbler itself that is great, but how it was used -- with complete and total disregard for any type of property around him. Really drives the point home that Batman is 'the dark knight', a vigilante and adds some moral ambiguity to the character.

Well, of course my favourite is the Anton Furst's Batmobile, but not only because I'm a Keaton's and Burton's fan, but also because that car is a real work of art!! There are no excesses, and it's just what a car needs to be; slick, long and pretty AWESOME!! They created a masterpiece of automobile engineering, his design has made history!! :D Nothing to say about the other Batmobiles, they made great work for them and I appreciate this!! :)

My favorite Batmobile is Keaton's Batmobile, the 90s animated Batman series one and Nolan's which is the most realistic one to be created.

The 89' car will always be my own preferred choice followed by its' predecessor in 'Returns'. Though, they are the same cut, the pearl black finish with a slight matte to it gave the 89' a more aggressive demeanor than the green tinged gloss black of Returns.
Some can have a little sympathy for the Clooneymobile since they show the whole construction of it and the crew is very open about it. I confess I like it but that's mostly because when I saw it for the first time I was still young and didn't know very much about how Batmobiles should look like. But there is one honest truth to this whole documentary about them:

i feel that the tumbler is the best. there's just something about it's menacing no nonsense look, and those beautiful bright headlights. the closest one to it would be tim burton's batmobile though.

Keatonmobile: work of art. Kilmermobile: Xenomorph on wheels. Clooneymobile: Life-size toy. The Tumbler: it's a tank and they built it a little too well. Part of me wants to see it drive over the toymobile.

@funzi159 Couldn't agree more mate. The Burton movies get the right balance between comic book fun and dark, gritty action. Those movies, along with their batmobile, are my favourites. Glad ya enjoyed the video!
For your 100K you get a driveable 1:1 scale replica of the tumbler power by a 350 Chevy, the standard equipment includes a fully visible roll cage, three pedals, a steering wheel, a gear stick, a drivers seat and nothing else. It is not road legal but the exhaust dose soot flames on the down shift though.
The Tumbler is a beast. Can you imagine seeing an army of these charging full speed into battle in war? They should start mass producing these things.
I like the Tumbler the best for live action movie batman. The other ones just look to ridiculous and toy-ish in real life to me. I can't imagine batman creating a batmobile like that, I can however imagine him using a military style "tank" vehicle because it would probably suit his task the most. Plus theres something super awesome about having so much toughness and horsepower to knock cars out of your way and transform into a bat-motorcylce.

The Batman Forever and Batman & Robin batmobiles are not too bad if you remove the useless lights everywhere. Still won't beat the Tumbler ofc.
Style-wise, the Keaton model wins hands down. The Tumbler can just do so much cool stuff though - as an actual thing to drive it'd be my choice.
Clooney's wasn't that bad without the excessive blue light on the wheels and the disco ball in the front. If you remove that, it doesn't look bad. They should keep it black and silver
Out of those 2. I'd say my favorite is the Tumbler, but I still like the 1989 batmobile from Tim Burton's batmobile.
The 1966 car & the Tumbler are hands down the best, in my humble opinion:) Burton's car was super cool but, I'm more into the realism & urban assault feel of the Tumbler, the 1966 car is just the coolest, most famous car on the planet period!
89 batmobile. The Tumbler is a great feat in engineering, but it just doesn't say it is an extension of the batman's aura of fear he projects on his enemies.
I would have to say Tumbler simply because it does everything in camera, much in the spirit of the first Batmobile. Same with the Batpod. With the exception of i think only the swivel-turns, it was capable of doing everything in those films.

I used to hate the Tumbler, now I love it!
The Tumbler is my hands down favorite & most realistic Batmobile... The 60's car was a beast! The other 1's were a little too toy'ish for my personal liking but I won't bash them... (no hate here). Just a lifelong fan's opinion.
My favorite is The 89 Batmobile and the Tumbler the two best Batmobile's out the whole entire Movie Franchise.

Batman The Animated Series for the win!!..... And yes, I know it wasn't featured here, but it's still my favorite. If I were a rich man I would make a real life double of that beast!! I would also agree with most people about the movie Batmobiles though. It seems that the Tumbler and Burton Movie versions were the favorites. I personally admire what Christopher Nolan did in his creative process and how uncompromising he was, but the version from Burtons movies is just perfect for Batman.

If I was Batman, I would drive the Tumbler. If I could drive any of the cars myself, it would be the 1960's Batmobile, but style-wise, my favorite is the Batman (1989-1992) Batmobile.
Andrew Smith was a part of the team on th 89' car. This version actually more nimble than the Snyder BvS Batmobile at manuevering.

My personal favorite is the 1989 Batmobile from Burton's. 2nd is the 1966 Adam West model. 3rd is the Batman Forever model (probably the coolest thing to come out of Joel's run on Batman). 4th is the Tumbler. The Batman & Robin model wasn't menacing, and it wasn't practical. It was pretty, but it took the neon colors and unreal qualities too far.
Cosmetically Id had to go with the Tim Burton model,That is what I always imagined as a child for the batmobile.However after watching this the Tumblr grew on me,since I know that this wasn't just a prop that hardly functioned this was a work car that was Innovative.
Well the original Batmobile is awesome of course I'm talking about the 1966 version. But that Tumblr is bad bad bad hey just think if I had the Tumblr here in Southern California coming home from work I'd be home in record time.
My favorite is the second Batmobile. That's the one that, I think, has the coolest outward design. A close second is is the last one. But the third Batmobile looked more like a shark than a bat with the dorsal fin on the top of it. And the forth one was way too flashy!
Can't wait to see the new Batmobile when they finally show the full look for Batman v. Superman movie.
I love the Affleck Batmobile. It's a powerful combination of the Tumbler with the Keaton Batmobile.

Schumacher had a neon light fetish while making "Batman & Robim," and that's one of th reasons why that film blows chunks. God bless Christopher Nolan and his instant classic trilogy.
It's amazing that the 1960's batmobile is better looking and more realistic than the two hideous Batman Forever and Batman and Robin batmobiles. He nailed it on the head when the creator of it said it looked like a pinball machine. It is amazing at how out of touch with reality Joel Schumacher and the designers/makers of the '95/'97 Batmans really were. As far as my favorite, if I would want one for comic book look I would choose the 1989 Batmobile, but for practical and real-world I like the tumbler. I even like that people don't predominately call it by its moniker, the batmobile, but normally call it the tumbler.
Alright the batmobile from Batman and Robin was complete shit, I get it, but the Batman Forever batmobile was great. Say what you want about the movie, but you can't deny that the car was awesome

Almost; if I remember right the top of the cockpit slides forward and you climb in. there are no hydraulics or electrics you have do it manually.

It's too bad Nolan didn't know about E.J. Potter; he would have put a real turbine in the car, and made it work. He was brilliant; he first came to fame by putting a Chevy V-8 on a motorcycle, and drag raced it all over the world back in the 60's. He also built a jet-powered motorcycle, several jet-powered pulling tractors, and was pretty much the undefeated world champion tractor puller back in the 70's and 80's, with his Allison-powered Ugly tractors. He taught himself Russian so he could read a service manual to a Soviet generator, and get it to run.
Sadly, he passed away several years ago from Alzheimers.
If you consider the car to be driven in standard roads, then none of them will work! The Tumbler has no windscreen and side view, the Forever Batmobile is too high and the B&R is too long!! The real story is that the Batmobile can only work and exist in the magical world of Batman, in reality they would not go anywhere!!! :D
Really, the only piratical road worthy Batmobile is Adam West because it was built on a existing model (the experimental Lincoln Futura) and was always meant to be road worthy.

The best looking is from the1989 Batman movie and the worst looking are from Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. Then i come to the Tumbler its both ugly and also in a curious way beautiful it brought an industrial look to what would be the first Batmobile but it also had the the rawr that screamed "Get out of my way or im going to smash you out of the way / run over your car" It also did not have a glass jaw like the other Batmobiles this one could not only take the punches but could punch back
I think $5 million a piece. The real ones though are smaller than how they are made to appear in the movie.

Tumbler, it's a no brainer. The Batman and Robin one would be too easy to see with the lights. It needs to camouflage. The first one sucks, and the next two are okay.
the tumbler is the best...bcauz itz the nly car which can do live action...they shld hav also tld abt the bike in dark knight..
They designed the car so that it had to be able to go at 100+ mph and make 0 to 60 mph in 5 seconds. They used 5.7 liter Chevy V-8 engine.
Favorite: The Tumbler. It's compact, low to the ground, very practical and realistic for a more realistic Batman.
Second favorite: the Tim Burton version. Not very practical, but stylish in a classic cool way, it fit the Batman of the time.
As for the Shumacher versions, fuck 'em. They are big, garish and covered in pointless lights and crap, just showy garbage meant to be made into toys.

It wasn't that bad. It was more impressive then some of the batmobles in the 70's comics. Many of which were immensely underwhelming.
