Yeah Christopher Nolan only uses CGI when it is actually impossible to do it the practical way, like when the bike wheel rotates sideways. That's why it looks so good
But the batpod is too hard to control and dangerous even Christian bale and the stunt actor himself is too afraid to get on that and had to pass all the stunts to the stunt actor
There were some special effects, but they were simple. The tires never flipped over and rolled on those hard 90 degree turns. Neat effect but physically impractical. You know what im talking about- like when he rode the bike up the wall and the tires rotate 180 degrees and he lands back down facing the other direction...he uses special effects but they are for small details. I love it
@@professorpepe2732 so "Gargantua" the blackhole, Mountain Waves in the planet from interstellar, flipping sky & exploding things in world of dream when Cobb teaching new dream architect wasn't CGI?? yeah admit some of his effects is practical.. but he did use CGI either.
Dan Lee he uses it when it’s appropriate. Interstellar is set many years in the future, and is sci-fi. Ofc it uses CGI. The Bat tumblr and batpod could’ve been cgi, but they went the extra mile to make them real.
Bale doesn’t even want to talk about The Dark Knight. I assume it is a dishonor for him to remember he’s been Batman for years. Never will understand it.
Oh boy I cried to this in about about 30 - 50 years we are going to look back at this film and say wow I live it watching this film as a kid or young adult and think to ourselves wow this was such a master piece
Matt Mayse of course was they couldn’t actually do that... it’s just that Nolan barley uses cgi.. but 2 face had to because if the did make up it would look lumpy
Despite loving and appreciating Marvel, the storytelling depth and practicality of Chris Nolan's Batman trilogy is mind blowing and supercedes the entire Marvel catalogue. It crosses over from "fantasy" and "super hero" genre into "thriller", "suspence", and "action" genre.

Films are more than just a collection of complicated scenes shot with difficult techniques. I hope you get to widen your horizons by watching films that don't necessarily adhere to the conventional constraints of what a film is, and how a film must be shot.
I love that Nolan really only used CGI when it was necessary. Everything being practical, from the stunts, chases, and cape adds to Batman’s character from both a film making and in-film perspectives. Having a stunt man with real cape just standing high on a tower is more engrossing than a CGI model standing there with animated cape. That theme by Zimmer gets me pumped.
Actually my friends Christoffer Nolan's batman trilogy is one of the best film I have ever seen and I can not forget this movie , it is in my heart and the batman the dark knight has a greatest story of all time it has no comparison any thing like CGI , batmobile any thing else do not change my opinion it ends is most beautiful . I can say many good things about this movie but I won't
really great life changing dialogue you we've ever seen in any other super hero movie.. Nolans batman was so real and practical.. my son is 4 years old now..when he will grow up he will understand why his father was really obsessed about Nolans Batman trilogy and posters all over the room..

It’s called the engine crankshaft spins which turns the flywheel which is connected to the clutch then transfers the power through the transmission then spins the driveshaft the turns spider gears in the differential then turns the wheels
The Tumbler and Batpod were without a doubt the best of all the batman vehicles in my opinion!! have been ridin bikes 40 yrs and would give anything for A REAL BATPOD!!
Hello Flashback FM... Very interesting!...Awesome!. All this time, I thought that these machines were fake or CGI. Nolan is the best, Zimmer too. Thanks for sharing!
This is why nolan's batman is the best. It's practical. And its real.
I actually thought the BatPod was pure cgi!dang Nolan hires great prop guys and actors/actresses!
Its just on a different level where no one can touch it.
I was gonna say the same thing. "Practical"
Yeah not like that spiderman movie with the whole stuff cgi,i hate it

There's a guy believes that Winter Soldier had less CGI than The Dark Knight....
@tinwoods it was still not the greem screen tho.. it was CGI

Aniruddha Biswas affleck is better

completely Agreed.
so far christofer Nolan proved himself as perfectionist.
every movie has strong ideology behind it with excellent execution.

The cape flapping makes that shit look 100% better.
Agreed but that's no shit.
No cape !!!
I love Christian Bale as the Batman..the way he act always stunning. The Dark Knight is the best of all Batman versions
Bale plays the best Bruce Wayne but not Batman. Affleck play the better Batman i think.
Agree. Bale will always be the best Bruce Wayne & Batman.

Christopher Nolan, Christian bale and Bgm 🔥🔥 this triology is ETERNAL 🙏
