Or just use tornado v3, also I got a gan cube for my birthday, pretty much everyone in my school has a gan cube if they can solve. I honestly don’t use it and I use tornado v3. just cause it’s magnets doesn’t mean it’s a bad cube. The Gan 249V2 (a gan non-magnetic 2x2) preforms just as good as the 251 M (a gan magnetic 2x2)

i think you set the "normal cube" really loose so its flimsy. and when you want to buy a speed cube then you can buy a budget cube for just lower than 20 dollars. i own the same cube and it's good out of the box. but you need to lube it. over time the cube will become dry. but if your going to buy a cube without magnets then its ok. magnets just align the layers so its not a big deal if you are turning fast because the magnets won't align if you are moving fast.
if you are serious in cubing then just a buy a good cube for speedcubing.
