1:19:19 - BRAVO! you're the first reactor I've seen who noticed the pink shimmer! :) 1:19:53 - Not sure if you caught it, but in this shot, you can hear Vi’s continuous cries until the music fades and the scene cuts to black. 1:21:36 - The seat Sevika is in, is actually Cassandra’s seat i.e. Caitlyn’s seat. She gave up her council position to the Undercity. 1:22:04 - Meet Orianna. She is a League champion. :) 1:22:19 - This answers the raven/bird question, it’s a setup for Noxus’s Swain (a League champion from Noxus, Ambessa and Mel’s homeland), who uses ravens as spies. The ravens have six eyes because his powers come from a demon of secrets. The next show from Riot is focusing on Ionia vs. Noxus (also confirmed by Christian!). :) We’ll probably see Mel in the next show too, as she’s now returning to Noxus. 1:24:00 - Cait and Vi are in the same room, with Cait working in the corner. When Act 3 was released, fans speculated that Cait was "researching" how Jinx might have faked her death, believing she was still alive but withholding it from Vi until she had proof. However, I don’t think Cait would keep secrets from Vi. Also, Vi likely already suspects Jinx is alive but finds it hard to accept (worth noting that Vi didn’t witness the explosion herself) . Vi’s wounds have healed, and both of them look like they’ve gained a little weight, suggesting some time has passed since the events. Also when Ambessa was there, this same room had two chairs. In 2x8, there was only one chair since Ambessa was no longer there. Now, the two chairs are back, one for Cait and one for Vi. :) 1:27:16 - Cait calling her "Violet" is significant because only her family used to call her that. So... Cait is her family now. :) 1:28:36 - This comes from a Spanish proverb "ser uña y mugre" and it means "inseparable through thick and thin" - so Vi says she’s not going to leave Cait, no matter what happens. :)
In the very first episode, Powder sees a blimp and says "One day I'm gonna ride in one of those things". That was her first line in the show. I think she did exactly what she said, she walked away. That last shot is there for a reason.
@@ClaudieTV yep jinx is definitely alive. She will be back in another show. The voice actress is the worst liar in the cutest way haha. We will get these characters again but in the future probably. Next show is noxus.
And the final battle comes down to 2 daughters vs a father, 2 daughters vs a mother, and Heimerdinger's 3 proteges all trying to save the world in different ways
As someone who watched Arcane when it was released and had to wait nearly 3 years for season 2, I felt like a part of me is gone. It was nice to see you have this experience. Can't wait for your next reactions
This is just incredible! It's been almost a month since I watched the last episode for the first time. Since then, I've watched the show three more times and each time it's been even better than the last! I've seen so many great reactions (none of which match yours) and analyses and read interviews with the incredible creators. I had processed it and was able to watch scenes with distance in a cinematic way that I didn't have the capacity for before. But the moment you thought Caitlyn was going to die brought me back to the emotion and left me in tears. It's incredible what your honest enthusiasm and joy for the characters and the show brought back to me. Thank you.
The pure speechlessness when Jinx appears in the hot air balloon, then the gamut of emotions as different characters appear..... I have never seen someone react to a show like you. Where have you been all my life, Claudie?!
Another interesting thing, in the fight scene between Ambessa vs Cait/Mel, we see Noxus 3 principles: Guile/Mages, Might, Vision (what Ambessa thought Caitlyn in eps6) getting manifested. Ambessa also added a 4th principle which is Sacrifice. During the 1v2 fight: 1. Guile/Mages (Mel) 2. Might (Ambessa) 3. Vision (Cait) 4. Sacrifice (Cait) In order to win, Caitlyn finally applied what she have learned and through her vision, she realized Ambessa's weakness and managed to stripped the anti magic bracelet off of her while also SACRIFICING her VISION by losing an eye.
Btw the anti-magic item is called Kaenic Rookern and I want to add that Caitlyn uses the knife stabbed in her belly to cut the rope off this item. To achieve this, she sacrifices her eye. I mention this because I'm not sure whether Claudie has recognised it or not.
And during training, Caitlyn tells Ambessa--too much force exposes you to risk. And there Abessa is forcing her way through Mel's shield to Caitlyn's eye.
01:00:26 I believe I remember that Sky was decided to do her move on Victor (S01E08) and then she died, tragically, trying to unplug him from the HexCore. So yeah, make the first move, just not while the significant other is plugged to a magic lightning thing.
Interesting detail: the chair Sevika sits in at the end was Cassandra's in season 1, meaning most likely Caitlyn gave up both her position as Commander and then her right to be on the council as leader of House Kiramman to make sure Zaun had a seat at the table
I think you´re the first person that I've ever seen that actually notice the pink sparkle of shimer at the end. Incredible attention to detail, one of the best reactions to this show 👏
1:19:05 first reaction I've seen when the pink streak is noticed, bravo. Pausing and rewinding helps, this is how something should be analyzed by everyone.
Omg I was crying my eyes out when Jinx died... well at the time I thought it was the case. I was just so upset. But then the internet explained how it is 95% certain she is not. I was really impressed that you caught the Shimmer pink trail in the explosion image ! Well done, you always catch important details 👌.
I have never seen a show in which they managed to give this wide a range of characters across genders such a diversity in portrayal with all of them feeling so genuine. Like you don't even get like one dedicated hard female character or soft male character. You get a so many shades all around. And none of these characters are just trapped inside a role, they are multifaceted and they bring out different aspects in each other. Like Vi can both be a competent badass that can mess anyone up and still be super gentle and vulnerable to the people close to her. Jayce and Viktor's finale I am not sure I have even ever seen between male characters before.
You caught it all!!! Because of course you did. I've loved finding this small channel and experiencing arcane again with a new internet stranger lol. Its been awesome to see this channel grow so fast and see you come into your own as a creator. Can't wait to see where you decide to take this channel next!!! You cartainly have my support in whatever you decide to do!
I have seen alot of Arcane reactions. A LOT. But not a single one comes close to your reaction. It just felt so intriguing, gripping and natural! I'm really happy that I found your channel and I will obviously stay for more!😄
There will never be another show like it. Glad to have been here on your reacts since almost the start, it's been fun sharing the trip with you. The descent into CaitVi obsession has been wonderful.
So sad it's the end. This, hands down, is one of my favorite shows. I was a complete mess of emotions after watching this season. Only Caitlyn can get an eye patch and still look stunning haha
I haven’t seen fight/war scenes like this in animated media. The camerawork while Vi is running, carrying the girl, the noxians drumming. The rawness of it all. Still getting goosebumps every time. Flawless cinematography.
Everyone says it when watching but I love how you really appreciate the art that's on display with this show. You pause and look at the details that go by with a blink of an eye, taking it all in. This show was an incredible journey, yes it could have gone easily for another season but I'm very satisfied with what we got. An absolute masterpiece.
I like how mentioned Caitlyn being feminine and at the same time more on the brutal side.I think this portrayal of the character is really good.Ofter its one or the other but they made her a really interesting character including being from more of a posh background
@@ClaudieTV I think the interesting part is that she is not rounded, but she becomes rounded. We see pieces falling in place to form Cait's personality.
Thank you for all the time, effort and emotion you have put into your reactions, Claudie! They are truly far superior to all other reactors I have watched and have been one of the highlights of my day for the past weeks. Arcane has also altered my brain chemistry and I can't help but compare everything I watch to it now! I look forward to watching your future videos :)
9:18 It's such a nice touch about Jinx, that when she realizes Ekko is real and she's not imagining him, she decides to jump down and blow herself up in the air instead. Because she doesn't want to hurt anyone else. Also, the partially cried off, make-up running down on her cheek on the left side of her face is in a shape of a V and I. :)
Awww, the genuine terror at seeing Caitlyn injured was more harrowing than watching the scene itself. Then you calling Maddie a C U Next Tuesday and your pure elation at Mels save, holy shit balls that was brilliant!!
I know I really thought she was going to die. Just because out of all the characters, I thought she may be one, they kill off. She seems almost more 'expendable' than Vi for example, and I just was so worried they'd kill her! Yes the Maddie reaction is so funny. I was crying with laughter when editing it 🤣
@ClaudieTV given the 'kill the gays' trope a lot of shows have, it was a legitimate fear. One I had myself after seeing THAT scene in 2x08, because too often they get torn apart JUST as they find happiness. (Stink eyes The 100)
And when Caitlyn asks Vi if she's still in this fight she's basically asking her if she still has fight in her, if she still has the will to live and Vi's telling Caitlyn yes and that it's her.
@@suzanneneilsen1680 That's exactly what it is. It's a saying used to say that something is inseparable. No matter how many times you take it away, it always comes back...
I'm not a native English speaker, and I am not sure how to call this. But I've noticed that when people passionate about Arcane start watching any episode, we have that "gaze", "look", "stare", "glance", not sure how to call it. Maybe the Arcane Gaze, the Arcane Stare, The Fleabag-paranoia-4th-wall-Look, not sure. It comes when we are nervous and hesitant, but eager at the same time, to start an Arcane episode where we know we are gonna be broken but we can't just walk away. Is this bravery? does this mean we enjoy auto-inflicted pain? Anyways, we all have had that look before each show. I know I had it, I've seen you had it and there are so many reactors out there that have it too. I've already seen this episode like 6 times and I still feel nervous when a reactor gives us the Arcane Look. 😰 Like you in 00:01 just after you sigh.
There are quite a few hints towards the end that Jinx is alive - and that she took the opportunity to do what "Silco" talked about.. walking away. One.. the shimmery reddish flash heading away from the explosion - two, Caitlyn examining the ventilation system of the area that Jinx "died" in.. they found the bomb fragments, but not any bodily remains apparently... and finally: in the very first episode Powder said that one day she'd fly in one of those blimp ships.. and a blimp heading away for parts unknown just happens to be the very last shot of the series. Hopefully we'll have that theory validated one day.
14:36 I felt the same way about Caitlyn 😅 she got me in S1 ♥️🫠 and I fell harder for her in S2 💙 am really happy that Caitlyn and Vi are finally together, just hoping that jinx meet up with Vi in the future who knows 🤷🏻♀️. Awesome reaction btw 👌🏻I’ll probably rewatch your reaction for S1 again it is so much fun to watch you analyze everything 👏🏻
You have no idea the extent to which I absolutely loved your reaction to this episode (and all the others ofc!!) but this episode in particular - i was laughing, giggling, kicking my feet, gushing, nodding along vehemently, cheering, and swooning over Caitlyn with you. It was just so incredibly fun. Your reaction to the Maddie reveal SENT ME SOARING I CANT 😭 absolutely PEAK THANK YOU for offering such amazing entertainment, I will most definitely be rewatching bc it’s just so good 🥹 (And also side-note but you’re so beautiful too!!!) cannot wait for more vids ✊
Victor is shown with a halo of the hex runes around him at 45:48. If you go back and watch THE FIRST SHOT VICTOR IS IN OF THE WHOLE SHOW his head has a halo of hex runes from Jayce's blackboard around it. Absolutely insane
If you think about it it’s actually Vanders death scene at the end not Jinx. Without him Vi and Jinx and Vi and Caitlyn would’ve never reunited, the last conscious act he made was bringing his family back together. Even with all the pain it brings he still puts them on the road towards their happy endings. In that scene Jinx assures Vi she’s always with her even when they’re worlds apart, then she lets go of her and is finally able to give her dad peace before finally being free herself and getting to leave Piltover and ride on one of the airships she promised herself she’d ride one day as a child.
Also, I do wanna say you’re probably my favorite reaction channel as far as this being your first go with a pretty good show to start off with, but also I just love how you’re analyzing everything, stuff that might go over people’s heads, but I love the enthusiasm And it’s really awesome
22:08 wow good catch, I did not notice that while watching for the first time. That's why I love watching your reactions, you notice so many things and therefore I do too
Finally, so glad to see it but kinda sad it's over (again T.T). I'm sorry in advance if you decide to read my whole comment, but you gave us a very long and detailed reaction, you deserve at least that much (I think). If you only want the short version : your reaction is by far (!) the best I've watched. Thank you for taking your time to absorb this show, it was absolutely delightful. 8:05 iirc we saw in the "Remember me" flash back (ep 6) that Felicia was the one who used to cut the girls' hair. 9:40 A very strong theory about this moment is that before the 3rd attempt, Jinx thought Ekko was another one of her hallucinations ("You're too late" she says, just like she said to Silco), but once she realizes Ekko really is her, she switch from blowing up to jumping bc she doesn't want Ekko to be hurt. 12:32 Even if it is not as obvious as Vi, Caitlyn IS loaded with guilt for what she allowed to be and what she allowed herself to become (she was traumatized ofc, but she did thinks she's not proud of, as she admits to Vi and jinx in ep8). This part of the opening is very likely pointing out at this inner distress (in the last ep, she says "I know" and bite her lips in anger + she was ready to let go of everything to make amends to Vi = she's likely adding a lot of self guilt to the trauma she faced in s1/s2a1) 16:26 Ok sorry again for the long-ass comment but this is my favorite CaitVi scene of the entire show, please allow me to yap a bit about it. [First, notice who is in the room : the de facto leader Jayce, the Head of the Council Mel and the Commander of the Enforcer Caitlyn. But why is Vi here ? She as no logistical or hierarchical position justifying her presence. She's here because Caitlyn Kiramman said so. Because she wants Vi at her side in this crucial moment, for her to feel like her equal, like someone she trust with the decisions that they will take here. Then, when she takes Vi's hand, it is ofc a gesture to reassure her, but also symbolically, she's covering her knuckle wounds, as if she was saying "I'll protect you". And you see later that despite obviously being a melee fighter, Vi is sent to a position far from the heat of battle, in the upper levels. And it is very heavy for Vi, who spend her life protecting people, to be the one being protected for once. After that we can see Vi is reciprocating the handholding and they're looking at each other, which was always part of their love language. In this moment, at the eve of what might be their last day, they are wholly accepting each other. Their story really is beautiful and their way too cute I love them, sry for the yaping] 24:50 As I said in my yaping, Vi isn't with Cait bc she doesn't want her in danger (also she might fear Ambessa could threaten Vi to get to her), and Maddie has been Caitlyn right hand (not in a sexual way, although you could argue about that but not my point) for the past month so it makes sense for her to second Caitlyn. And as a spy for Ambessa it also makes sense for her to stay close to the leader of the Enforcers. 29:07 Fun fact about this prefect imperfection in design, not mentioning the obvious end message of "there is beauty in imperfection", Fortiche said that every circular shape you see in the show is hand drown and not a perfect circle except for one thing which are the Hextech gem. Because they wanted them to look perfect, so they are the only circles in the whole show that are actually circles 32:27 First time I see someone drawing that conclusion here, good job :D 39:30 Just so you know, people who watched this scene in theaters actually jumped off their seat in joy 43:00 Actually it IS her lair, it was always a balloon stuck into the fissures. Btw Jinx outfit is dedicated to Isha (the shark hood, the little pink under her eyes, and she even painted Isha's glasses and rabbit ears all over her lair) 54:00 That's why I couldn't tell you about eyes last video :) 55:10 If you're interested, here is a thread about the symbolic behind Ambessa's death and last line x.com/Toutankill1/status/1867974419450314857 1:19:30 This is the exact frame you should look at if you wanna know about Jinx's "death", congratulation ! The animation have always been highlighting the purple trace she leaves behind when using shimmer. The very distinct ray of purple flying away from the blast is no mistake. If you connect it with the investigation Caitlyn is making in the end and the last frames of the show, which are the exact same frames we see for Powder's first line ever ("One day, I'm gonna ride one of those things"), it is very obvious that Jinx decided to break the cycle by walking away, just like her inner Silco told her to do (even though she thought at first it meant k-ing herself) 1:21:38 If you pay attention to which seat she's sitting on, it's the seat of the Kiramman house. This is Caitlyn's way of repairing the wrong Piltover and herself have done to Zaun. It doesn't solve the conflict at all (and it's a good thing for the realism of the universe that Arcane doesn't imply that kind of conflict could just be solved by a common enemy and a nice ask), it's is merely a step in the right direction, but she's taking it, and as she says : "our story isn't over" 1:22:48 As I said last video, crows are importants and this one especially since it's a raven. A lot of crows in the show are her for Jinx because there is symbolism behind (won't go into details but that's why there were so many). This 3-eyed raven though, is a minions of the ancient demon Raum, the demon of secrets, who will later seal a deal with the noxian grand general Jericho Swain and fuse with him to replace his missing left arm. How is that relevant ? The end of Arcane is heavily implying that the next story will be set in Noxus, and considering the timeline, it can be the beginning of Swain's rise to power. The crow is thus a reference & maybe a set up for the next story 1:27:27 No one ever called her Violet except her own family :) And this is the end of my long-ass comment. Thank you very much if you read it, I would be extremely happy if you would start looking more into the lore of Runeterra, or just any Arcane-related content.
For Jinx, the only way she saw that Violet could be happy was to get away, as Silco told her. At first she thought that the solution was suicide, but thanks to Ekko she just walked away, leaving Piltover... While Jinx was still there, her sister was never going to stop looking for her, and so that she could start a new family with Caitlin, she got out of the way...
I've watched a lot of reactions but barely catches anyone on immediately that Maddie sabotaged the bomb. And you're also one of the vew reactors I've seen who deduced from all the clues, that Jinx is still alive. Very perceptive and as usual I love your reactions :) And I'm sad there won't be any more Arcane reactions from you - at least for a long time :(
1:10:47 I understand you. The first time I saw the scene between Jayce and Viktor I was speechless, but with many tears on my face. Everything (music, script and animation) is perfect and very deep. Some interesting facts to highlight: Viktor Evolved continues to use the blue cape that Jayce gave him in episode 1 of season 2. Jayce was the only one who saw what Viktor saw in the astral plane and was going to be the first to be turned into a "robot". Curiously his "robot" design is the only one different from the others and also the marks on his forehead are different. I interpret that Viktor never wanted to kill Jayce, he wanted to convince him at all costs and only prevented him from ruining his plans at certain times. Finally, Viktor and wizard Viktor are shown to be ashamed and sad about what they did in Jayce's presence. Just look at their facial and body expressions in his presence.
Being able to stop in the middle of the fight scene, to talk about the aesthetics of the characters' design, is pretty amazing (imo) because it shows how truly appreciative of every element you really are. ❤
I knew it!!! I knew you would catch that purple streak of light 🎉 I think of all the people that I ve seen reacting to this show you are the only one that got that 😂 Also its crazy how this is just the beginning of your channel, high quality stuff and you just started!! I love it
Well....100% confirmed by Amanda Overton now.....MADDIE WAS NOXIAN ALL ALONG!!!!!! And I feel so vindicated now that it was also confirmed by the lead writer!!! Maddie was a plant all along!! - Maddie called her "commander" before Ambessa actually named her Commander - Maddie was the first to beat her chest - Pulled from the car-thing during the memorial attack by huge Shimmer suit dude and NOT killed - Maddie was in bed (god that still makes me sick) trying to get Cait to see Ambessa is trying to “protect them” - Maddie was eaves dropping at the door when Cate & Vi had their argument about Powder - Maddie was carrying the bomb…and also sabotaged it - Maddie showed ZERO remorse or hesitation in pulling the trigger Then there is what Ambessa told Vi in Episode 6...."your absence provided a vacuum I was able to fill." She could have been meaning herself...but it is 100% confirmed now that she meant Maddie. Cait wasn’t anything to Maddie…she was a job.
Honestly I think the last point might even be the biggest hint, a lot of it she could just be a little naive and even lucky, but "jealous ex turned traitor" doesn't give you the stomach to publicly execute someone like that, but for a Noxian it would be a regular tuesday
@@Hleler yes...but now that Amanda Overton confirmed Maddie was Noxian all along....EVERYTHING just showed how deep Maddie was in everything, and just how long of a long game Ambessa played.
I don't know how you noticed that Maddie sabotaged the bomb on the first watching, no one I saw reacting noticed it. Congratulations, I would also like to point out two other details that you didn't notice in the excitement, there are black frames while Maddie shoots Caitlyn, if you stop them you can first see the white silhouette of Maggie who is about to shoot Caitlyn, without a face, but with a funny smile from ear to ear. In the second black frame you always see Maddie's silhouette with a red line, representing the bullet entering Maddie's forehead. (Now I want to see the print behind xD) I would also remember Ambessa saying to Vi: "Your absence provided a vacuum I was able to fill". I would also tell you a final gem that not many have noticed, intuited or simply have not stopped to think about it. Why did Jayce manage to stop Viktor this time? Viktor himself said that he tried countless times with different runes, but he never managed to stop the Glorious Evolution. The answer is in episode 7, when Heimerdinger realizes that they have created a Time Loop, he asks Ekko how it is possible and he answers "I was playing with inversions on Jayce's acceleration rune" while he circles the symbol of that rune on the board. Symbol that is the one on the rune that Viktor gave to Jayce this time and not all the others, so in ALL the other realities presumably Ekko never managed to invent the Time Loop, without that rune and even if he had found a way to return to "our" reality, he could not have defeated Viktor by throwing the overloaded engine at him, but even before that he would NEVER have been able to stop Jinx from blowing herself up. The 3-eyed crow is most likely a teaser for a well-known Noxus character and the crow is breaking Jayce's hammer to take the Gemstone inside. They've hinted that the next series will be in Noxus and that we'll get a deeper look at the Black Rose and Mel, too, for obvious reasons, she still have to avenge her brother. I would also like to point out that Caitlyn is great at reconstructing the events from the evidence at the scene. The fact that she still has doubts about Jinx means that there was no body found, only part of the grenade. Throughout the final scene I read Caitlyn's indecision as to whether or not to say that she still has doubts about Jinx's death.
Great reaction to a great show. I think we all need to breathe now. I'd love to see your next reactions. Cait and Vi will forever be in our hearts.I hope someday we will hear or see how they're doing in other series of this universe.
The fact that one of the big themes shown in this episode is about how there is beauty in imperfections, and you took the time to sit and appreciate how the characters are all stunning while not being the pinnacle of beauty standards is very satisfying. I love how like, pausing and rewatching is kind of your thing, but during that whole Caitlyn execution scene, I feel like it was your worst enemy lol. Instead of ripping it off like a band-aid you were just going THROUGH it. Love it. lol 10/10 reaction. I know you wanna do some light hearted stuff, but when you're ready to have your heart beautifully ripped out again, a couple suggestions if you haven't seen them yet. The Last of Us is another phenomenal video game to TV adaption. and if you're interested in doing movies - Everything Everywhere All at Once... is absolutely spectacular. I'm very picky about the media I consume and those, and Arcane, are probably my top 3.
Like she said she would do in episode 2: Jinx is watching it all burn. The Last Drop, Silco's chair, Isha's tent...everything must go. The shattered glass at the start looks ordered because it's in the shape of a toothy, beastly face. It's meant to represent Vander. There's a pretty strong theory that Jinx thought Ekko was a hallucination at first, and she still believed he had died on the bridge. When he first shows up, she says the same things she said to Silco ("Go away. You're too late" / "Get out of here, Ekko." "You're too late, Ekko."). It's only after he mentions that the explosion will kill them both that she realizes that he's real, and so she jumps off the ledge instead, so as to just kill herself and not him. During the intro, you missed a few secrets. When Jinx starts to stand up at the beginning, there's a flash of her and Vi as they appear in the final episode (Jinx with short hair and Vi with long hair and gauntlets). After Viktor first appears, there's a flash of Evolved Warwick/Vander's eyes. When Caitlyn is holding her head in her hands, there's a flash of a big X over her left eye (which she loses later in the episode). And then you caught the final secret, where it flashed Viktor's new face near the end of the intro. I can't believe you'd say Vi has the cutest nose when Jinx exists. The blue-haired girl, Gert, also showed up earlier. She was at the rally at Vander's statue, and she was the first to put a hand on Jinx's shoulder after she freed them from Stillwater. I love how in season 1, you couldn't bring yourself to say "brothel," but in season 2, you're going on about how you're "an absolute whore for Caitlyn." Maddie being a double agent is one of the few writing choices that doesn't sit well with me. The writers have confirmed that she was a Noxian spy since the start...but she does tons of things that either make no sense based on that, or are actively detrimental to the Noxian cause. Season 1's turncoat enforcer character (Marcus) was one of the best-written side characters in the show, and then season 2's turncoat enforcer (Maddie) was one of the worst. If you pause just as Maddie fires the gun, the impact frame has a creepy extra-wide toothy grin over her mouth. No matter the universe, whether Powder or Jinx, she always has to make her entrance a spectacle. Jinx's balloon a bunch of cool details. Obviously there's the fact that it's her lair, repurposed into a vehicle, but on top of that: It has Isha's bunny ears painted onto it, as well as the googly eyes from her helmet. The bunny tied to the speakers is the toy bunny that once belonged to Vi, and the chair Jinx sits in is her Jinx chair from the tea party in season 1. Also, one that I don't see a lot of people talking about, but is my personal favorite: Jinx's lair never had guard rails. You could just topple right off the side if you weren't careful. However, in the alternate universe, when Powder lived there, there were guard rails installed along the ledges. Now that Ekko has gotten through to Jinx and gotten her to value her life, she's installed guard rails on the edges when she turned it into a balloon. As for physical details: The hood Jinx wears has teeth and eyes that look like the ones on Isha's helmet. Jinx's hair has been cut into basically the same style that Vi's was in season 1. Also, Jinx and Ekko painted each other's bodies. Ekko painted his hourglass symbol onto Jinx in one or two places, and they painted a big X on each other. The two lovebirds have laid claim to their territory. And apparently there was originally going to be a scene where we got to see them do so, but it was cut for time. Don't worry. Cait's right eye is her aiming eye, so while losing an eye isn't ideal, she can still remain a sharpshooter. If you look closely, you can see that Jinx's new gun is actually made with a combination of parts from Fishbones (her old rocket launcher), her old minigun, and one of the Firelight hoverboards. Ekko's attack from Viktor's perspective is hilarious. He's finally achieved godhood, he's about to evolve everyone in Piltover, and then suddenly this poor kid from the Undercity who's covered in body paint comes flying in, perfectly dodges all of his evolved minions, and throws a device at him that shouldn't even exist. Viktor, season 1: "I suppose your legacy has been well-secured." "My contributions will be short-lived, even in your memory." At the end of season 2, Viktor's name has been removed from the blueprints for the Hexgates, and it now only says "Design by Jayce Talis." In his desperation to become something more, he destroyed his own legacy and made himself into a villain. And, since Jayce was the only one to see him change at the end, everyone else will just hate him forever. The closest thing Caitlyn has to a nickname is "Cait," from anybody other than Vi. However, Vi (and only Vi) gets to call her "Cupcake." So, while everybody else calls Vi "Vi," Cait, at the end of the show, calls her "Violet." Vi is the only one who calls Cait a nickname, and Cait is the only one who calls Vi by her full name. (I think the only other times she's been called Violet were by Powder in season 1 act 1 and by Vander when suggesting the name to Felicia.) Jinx lives! Huzzah! Powder, episode 1: "One day, I'm gonna ride in one of those things." Jinx escaped with Shimmer (pink streak), fled through the air ducts (examined by Cait), and flew away on one of the airships she had wanted to ride in since she was a child. And don't worry. Christian Linke has said that we will see Vi and Cait again. Also, Ekko's VA is pushing really hard for more TimeBomb (Jinx and Ekko) content. Now that Arcane is over, I imagine you're looking for what to react to next. As such, I'd like to throw out a suggestion: If you've never seen The Owl House, it's amazing, and I'd love to see your reaction. It's also very gay, so it's a fitting replacement for the loss of Arcane.
One detail I love is how Vi's need to check on Vander calls back to Powder in episode 7. Powder said said fights so hard because she's afraid of losing people. She didn't want to lose Vander again, even though only Warwick was in front of her now.
Arcane is my favorite thing I've ever seen and I'm so happy that they were able to end the story without being pressured to drag it out for money or something. Absolutely beautiful 10/10
Okay yeah "they messed up the most beautiful face in the show" but hear me out... cuz the storytelling is actually so masterful. You've noticed the foreshadowing with the eyes throughout the season/show. There's more. Ambessa taught caitlyn about the 4th principle of Noxus, sacrifice, and then Caitlyn made the concious decision to release the spear that she's holding back from her eye in order to remove the knife from her thigh so she can cut off the runes, in order for Mel to finish the job. Caitlyn sacrificed her eye because she did take ambessa's lessons to heart.
Yes. And Ambessa is really trying to force her way through the shield to reach Caitlyn's eye. During the training sessions in response to use of force, Caitlyn says, "To much force exposes us to risk
I loved your reaction to the finale. Caitlyn getting stabbed by Ambessa had me panicking just as much, when I saw it first. This is such a damn beautiful show, it had me emotionally drained for weeks now. Never thought some animated characters from f**king League of Legends - a game I played excessively for many years and dropped in 2018 because of it's toxic community - could have such a grip on me. Also, congrats to your first finished series on the channel 🎉
Thank you for this. Addicted to Arcane and sharing it again via reactions keeps it going for me. You're absolutely one of my favorites. Don't worry about not catching everything or getting things wrong. I don't view it as your job to be right. But being thoughtful (even if wrong), genuine and entertaining resonates with me and allows me to stay connected to the show. Thanks again. Brilliant and very enjoyable stuff. Good luck following up on this. You kicked things off with a masterpiece. I wonder how it will feel reacting to very good but lesser material. BTW, Frieren is an excellent anime that is lighter. Ted Lasso is a brilliant and mostly lighter masterpiece as well.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you've enjoyed it! There's some other brilliant shows to delve into and alot of other Arcane stuff too! Should be alot of fun! 🥰 Will look into Ted Lasso, as you're the 5th person to mention it!
Hi claudie. Thank you for everything. I never comment, just never. But I had to connect and make a point. I discovered your channel when I finished Arcane. You were finishing Arcane: Bridging the Rift. And little by little, before I knew it, you were videos on my daily routine. With a little smile when you get the notification or the “too bad no video today.” We've all followed your joys because they're natural. And we've experienced exactly the same thing. You apologized for not crying for the episode, but that's not why so many of us (I think) followed you. There's a bit of theater when you look at the camera and say “shut up” but nothing overdone or overplayed and you draw us into your vision of Arcane. I was bluffed and rewatched bits of the episodes when you saw things I hadn't, and smiled when it was the other way around. You mentioned the possibility of a patreon in episode 7 and I can only agree with the people who came up with the idea. Delighted to have discovered your channel. We can only see the little details in the editing that show your growing involvement and attention to detail. Continue your adventure beyond arcane because you'll make us all very happy. PS : there will be no Arcane: Bridging the Rift for season two. “But I think this video might interest you. A short 12-minute interview with one of the 3 fortiche directors and the Head of development, who gives a lot of info on a lot of subjects, and it's fascinating. And given the number of English-speaking comments, machine translation works well. It's called “Fortiche (Arcane) en interview: projet de long métrage Penelope of Sparta, avenir, avis sur l'AI” = Fortiche (Arcane) in interview: Penelope of Sparta feature film project, future, opinion on AI Bonne continuation depuis la france. And sorry for the English mistakes
At 39:10 when Maddie shoots, and it kinda goes into that black and white animation , freeze the frame and look at Maddies face. B is grinning like a Cheshire Cat.
When I first watched this episode I also wondered what Caitlyns face at the end was meant to convey and I think it's her wondering whether or not to tell Vi about her theory of Jinx being alive and escaping through the ventilation, if it's a good idea to potentially give her falls hope.
I have watched ALOT of arcane reactions. Its practically a whole genre at this point. So with that in mind let me say this has been my favorite reaction series ive seen. The show grabbed me like no other series i can think of. I really hope you continue to see growth and success on this channel cuz you absolutely deserve it. The passion is so clearly there
I recommend looking up an edit of how the first scenes looked from Jinx's perspective, without the suicide rewind cuts, just how she perceives it since she won't have remembered what happened during the rewinded time. It becomes obvious that she realizes there's another universe, as her eyes point down at the little monkeys which are very much hers, but not of her making - and what Ekko says and suddenly teleport around doesn't make sense.
Yes, not many people pick that up, I think with her been really intelligent got the idea fast that there is a good/better version of her somewhere so she does have a chance to change, all this scene gets better if you listen to the full song lyrics (the mood of the song changes for the last part)
@@ClaudieTV What I recommend the most is just a second re-watch. I'm not typically a re-watcher at least without several years apart. But this, I went from "Holy fuck what a great show" after the first time I watched, to "............ omg." the second. There's just so many details you don't even realize the first time around. Foreshadowing, parallels (although you're amazing at picking out details, love you for that) and all sorts of goodies. One I'm sure you've heard a thousand times already, Powder saying 'one day I'm going to ride on one of those things' with how the show ends is an on-the-nose one. But there's soooooo much. Please. Spend the Christmas with a good cup of whatever-the-fav-drink-is and run it back 🤭🤭
There's also apparently a cutscene where he explains to her that their is indeed a good version of her and it also show them preparing for the fight and rallying the undercity.
JINX IS ALIVE... although it's also open to interpretation You're the first reaction I've seen to this episode that notices Jinx's pink lightning bolt. Many (including me) miss that detail because of the shock of thinking Jinx died, and when Caitlyn sees the plans (when I was processing what happened, I paid attention to Caitlyn's scene and was hoping Jinx was alive). By the way, you should react to the compilation of the intro details that were included in each chapter and also to curiosities of the second season, such as that they eliminated part of the scene of Ekko and Jinx since it was going to be longer and would explain why they wear clothes in a set marked by the other.
Silco told Jinx in the jail cell that she needed to walk away to break the cycle. She first took it as killing herself, which Ekko stopped, then she literally walked away. She knew as long as she was ‘alive’ that Vi would never stop protecting her at the cost of her own life (Ep 7 set this up too, when Powder said ‘Vi isn’t brave, she just fights for us”). She had to die so Vi could be free, and for her to give Vi her freedom AND save Vi (which she tried to do in S1E3 and failed miserably) she was able to do it with a big win. I think both Vi and Jinx needed that, and both got it in the best way possible in this storyline. In S1E1 the entire series starts with Powder looking at a blimp and saying “I’m going to ride in one of those some day” and the last shot of the series is a blimp flying away with Jinx’s scratches. Add in Cait’s researching the vent system, then asking Vi if she’s ‘still in this fight’ (probably debating whether to tell her she thinks Jinx is still alive), saying “The story is not over” to the mourners, and the pink streak right before the bomb went off all def point to Jinx not being dead. At first I was like you, a bit stunned at how it all went, then I realized this is really the best possible ending. Powder is gone, and running away would never stop Vi, Vi had to think she was dead. Jinx said “Be with her” before leaving the jail, she knew she was going to off herself and felt that was the only way to give Vi a happy life, until fate gave her another option. Even the stuff that doesn’t feel consequential (like Ep 7) HAD to happen in this universe for things to play out how they did. Ekko had to remember Powder and love her again, and invent the Time Machine, and learn that it kills if pushed past 4 seconds, and Ekko needed to spend time in Jinx’s hideout (which I assume he helped her convert into a flying machine). But most of all, I think of Episode 7 as a needed break to catch our breath and learn what is at stake. We needed to love Powder too. We needed to what Zaun could have become (good, and bad) so we know what we’re fighting for. We needed the emotions to shift back to love so batshit fast final episodes had a solid base of character and world building to be meaningful. Episode 7 prevented the last act from being too much spectacle, and I didn’t appreciate it for a while but now I do. It’s like how Isha’s sacrifice hit 100X harder because it followed that beautiful montage that showed us how much they love each other, so we can understand why she would give her life for Jinx. I think Episode 8/9 hit harder because we saw what was at stake, just as Ekko did. It was a big investment in time that the series really had little of, but in the end I feel it was worth it.
A farewell to this awesome journey (at least until fortiche's next series :) Started watching this channel because of the need for more arcane reactions, ended up really loving the way you stop and analyze scenes, definitely will be staying for more stuff you react to!!
Thank you for the great ride called Arcane. I loved watching your funny,emotinal,compassionate,in-depth commentary. You are one of the few who pays so much attention to every datail of the show,i find it refreshing and next time you press the pause button no need to say sorry.Too bad its over for Arcane that is. Looking forward for on hour channel. 🤣👍
A lot of the characters got season 2 skins with new voice lines refrencing a ton of scenes in arcane, all of them are uploaded to youtube so could be a fun watch
By far, Viktor’s and Jayce’s relationship was the most profound one in the show for me. I dare say, even in all the media I have consumed. Their love transcended friendship, brotherhood, and romance. It took me a good solid two weeks to figure the best and closest way to describe this love: Agape. It is unconditional love. I was genuinely touched and dumbfounded by this demonstration. I am still reeling half a month after seeing the ending. This has also encouraged me to apply this type of love to the closest people to me. It is so beautiful and precious.
"Their love transcended friendship, brotherhood, and romance." - I present you: male friendship. Obviously there are a ton of other important and strong relationships out there. For example: blood relations, love and whatnot. But this show represents the quintessential male friendship between Jayce and Viktor in a masterful way.
Episode 7 is SO imparive to the story because there is only one timeline where this all turns out fine and it's the one where 1. Jayce goes back to see what could happen in the future and more importantly, 2. Ekko goes back to a "what could have been" and invents a timeloop device that is the final key to stopping viktor, as well as saving Jinx. It's actually goated how the made AU characters such as that powder and THAT viktor very impact ful for this universes fate.ands thats why they devote an entire episode to it.
Yes i was dubious about the time they spent on Ekko and Powder initially but after watching the end and rewatching it all. It wouldnt of been enough to show how Ekko saved Jinx I needed why he saves Jinx because Ekko at the start of that episode certainly wouldnt have
I love that you didnt give up on "birds" until the very end. It's actually a teaser for the next shows. Those birds, 6-eyed raven, actually belong to one of the most important characters in league lore and he comes from Noxus. I would say, a character that is stronger and more influential than Ambessa by a mile. Btw, you're the first one (maybe only) that I ever watched to notice that Jinx's shimmer strike away from the explosion and Maddie's betrayal few minutes or few episodes before the actual reveal. There's actually a lot of stuff in the show that only you who've noticed, that other viewers didn't on their first watch/reaction. Kudos to that.
For what it’s worth, I think they meant that this was gonna be the end of this storyline, but not the end for all these characters popping up in other shows in that universe, whether it’s in a main role or not I don’t know? I do know Cait’s VA did a cameo vid for a fan, she kinda looked like she might know something haha. Also Christian when asked if Cait and vi would show up again he said “Duh” so I’m hopeful for a spinoff later on.
This was a fantastic run, I really enjoy your reactions. I hope great things come for you and your channel, I'll waiting to see what comes in the future
1:21:57 Ironically, the one who stoked the flames of Zaun with Shimmer, caused so much suffering to every single character in *BOTH* Piltover and Zaun, was able to get his unexpected happy ending. 🤣 This show truly was cruel, no matter how you look at it.
You know ... for quite many of us we've started the Arcane journey 3 years ago. As a LoL player I waited a decade to get answers regarding Jinx, Cait, Vi and their relationships ... We had hints of a love story, and of a siblings relationship but nothing official ... All to say ... I'm willing to bet this show's gonna stick in your mind for a real long time :D
The first thing you've reacted to on youtube is Arcane, let that sink in friend, it was so much fun watching all your reactions and enjoying your analysis and perspectives on many scenes, it was great, thank you for such a fun series
Your reaction to Maddie's death was brilliant 😂 not me celebrating with you even though I knew it was coming haha So glad you're a fellow Caitlyn fan (fan might be an understatement lol) 😭 the woman that she is 🤌 All the female characters in this show are so well designed and written it's insane. I feel so grateful to have experienced this show and then to get a second chance to experience it through your channel! :D Thank you so much, definitely looking forward to more stuff (no pressure lol) 🌝
45:22 😂 the criticism on Victor’s different “looks” like he consciously chose them. 1:22:51 Mel probably needs to rule her house now. Yes to Killing Eve and Fleabag. I mean we’re already here holding Jinx’s hands telling her she did nothing wrong her entire life. 😂 Great start. Love the analysis and all the rewind. Animations are very intentional in every frame and this series was meticulous in every aspect.
Hmmm, you always caught birds/ravens and eyes, ravens and eyes, ravens and eyes... It seems like the demon of Secrets, Raum, is watching over what's happening in Piltover...
Also, not sure if you noticed, but Vi in her final scene is for once not wearing her boxing wraps, and instead has replaced them with a single leather bracer on her right wrist, just like Vander started wearing after he lost his brother and gave up a life of violence "I'm just not that man anymore"
I'm surprised at how you got it right with the first time, I had to look around a bit and rewatch scenes to find out the details. Great job as always. I loved this video from start to finish, and i hope ClaudieTV can grow up more and more, keep going with your reaction style which I have to say initially I found annoying but slowly learned to absolutly love it.
"I've got a fucking problem.."
Welcome to the club. We're all addicts here😅
🤣🤣
Or, Welcome to the Playground ...
True i am.
Maddie's betrayal made Claudie go through the 5 stages of grief in the span of 2 and a half minutes. 😅
I think it was 105 stages tbh 🤣
@@ClaudieTV Also, I was introduced to the insult "Piss-biscuit", which I shall try to use on a daily basis.
Hands down the BEST Arcane reactions on youtube. not even close. cant wait for what's next
Ah thank you so much!
1:19:19 - BRAVO! you're the first reactor I've seen who noticed the pink shimmer! :)
1:19:53 - Not sure if you caught it, but in this shot, you can hear Vi’s continuous cries until the music fades and the scene cuts to black.
1:21:36 - The seat Sevika is in, is actually Cassandra’s seat i.e. Caitlyn’s seat. She gave up her council position to the Undercity.
1:22:04 - Meet Orianna. She is a League champion. :)
1:22:19 - This answers the raven/bird question, it’s a setup for Noxus’s Swain (a League champion from Noxus, Ambessa and Mel’s homeland), who uses ravens as spies.
1:27:16 - Cait calling her "Violet" is significant because only her family used to call her that. So... Cait is her family now. :)
1:28:36 - This comes from a Spanish proverb "ser uña y mugre" and it means "inseparable through thick and thin" - so Vi says she’s not going to leave Cait, no matter what happens. :)
Thank you for these, they're great!
Given the meticulous analysis of every frame of this show, I'd have been very disappointed if the pink shimmer was missed! 😆
We Lass Reacts also caught it, but only those two of the reactors I've watched so far.
In the very first episode, Powder sees a blimp and says "One day I'm gonna ride in one of those things". That was her first line in the show. I think she did exactly what she said, she walked away. That last shot is there for a reason.
Ah good catch! I like that alot!
@@ClaudieTV yep jinx is definitely alive. She will be back in another show. The voice actress is the worst liar in the cutest way haha. We will get these characters again but in the future probably. Next show is noxus.
"strap on i don't mind..." out of nowhere get me rolling
I'm so glad someone picked up on that, I was waiting for a comment about it 🤣🤣
@@ClaudieTV i rewind on you every day like you rewind on cupcake .... :) stay yourself you're perfect
@@ClaudieTV It didn't go unnoticed but not pointing it out was the classy way of dealing with it ^_^
And the final battle comes down to 2 daughters vs a father, 2 daughters vs a mother, and Heimerdinger's 3 proteges all trying to save the world in different ways
Yup that's one way to sum it up 🤣
Props to you for suspecting Maddie from the start,I was oblivious af
How could she have guessed it from the start btw? She is really something.
Lucky guess, with a...lot of jealousy I think!
@@ClaudieTV 😂
As someone who watched Arcane when it was released and had to wait nearly 3 years for season 2, I felt like a part of me is gone. It was nice to see you have this experience. Can't wait for your next reactions
Thank you so much! Alot more on the way! 🥰
You are the ONLY reactor I've seen that clocked Maddies deceit before the reveal
👏👏👏👏
This is just incredible!
It's been almost a month since I watched the last episode for the first time. Since then, I've watched the show three more times and each time it's been even better than the last! I've seen so many great reactions (none of which match yours) and analyses and read interviews with the incredible creators. I had processed it and was able to watch scenes with distance in a cinematic way that I didn't have the capacity for before.
But the moment you thought Caitlyn was going to die brought me back to the emotion and left me in tears. It's incredible what your honest enthusiasm and joy for the characters and the show brought back to me. Thank you.
You are more than welcome! Brilliant shows have that effect on people! Arcane is art!
I've neverrrr seen anyone so happy to see a character die as you did with Maddie omggg🤣🤣. The joy in your eyess🤣😭
🤣🤣 I almost looked as manic as she did
The only moment in the show where she screamed with excitement 😂
@GigiSdrodro she's so real for that 🤣😭
The pure speechlessness when Jinx appears in the hot air balloon, then the gamut of emotions as different characters appear.....
I have never seen someone react to a show like you. Where have you been all my life, Claudie?!
🤣🤣🤣 I just couldn't believe it when she showed up! I was like 'oh what is it now?' 🤣
Another interesting thing, in the fight scene between Ambessa vs Cait/Mel, we see Noxus 3 principles: Guile/Mages, Might, Vision (what Ambessa thought Caitlyn in eps6) getting manifested. Ambessa also added a 4th principle which is Sacrifice.
During the 1v2 fight:
1. Guile/Mages (Mel)
2. Might (Ambessa)
3. Vision (Cait)
4. Sacrifice (Cait)
In order to win, Caitlyn finally applied what she have learned and through her vision, she realized Ambessa's weakness and managed to stripped the anti magic bracelet off of her while also SACRIFICING her VISION by losing an eye.
Good advice! Love that 🤣
Interesting detail: the chair Sevika sits in at the end was Cassandra's in season 1, meaning most likely Caitlyn gave up both her position as Commander and then her right to be on the council as leader of House Kiramman to make sure Zaun had a seat at the table
Yes I noticed that when editing! Very good detail!
@@ClaudieTV then who got Heimerdinger and Mel's chairs?
I think you´re the first person that I've ever seen that actually notice the pink sparkle of shimer at the end. Incredible attention to detail, one of the best reactions to this show 👏
Moscow caught it too but think shes the only one then again most of us were watching through a film of water at that point
Tbh at the time I don't know if I 'caught it' or was just being over hopeful! But thank you! 🤣
@@simoncarter3139 yeah someone dumped a big pile of tears in front of my TV 😅
1:19:05 first reaction I've seen when the pink streak is noticed, bravo. Pausing and rewinding helps, this is how something should be analyzed by everyone.
Yeah i noticed that too, don't know how but she did it.
Omg I was crying my eyes out when Jinx died... well at the time I thought it was the case. I was just so upset. But then the internet explained how it is 95% certain she is not. I was really impressed that you caught the Shimmer pink trail in the explosion image ! Well done, you always catch important details 👌.
So was I 🤣 I don't know how I saw it lol
What an absolutely delightful reaction series, Claudie. Looking forward to what comes next.
Thank you so much! Lots to come, some more Arcane stuff too!
Loved the Piss Biscuit expression. Never heard that idiom before.
Tbh I don't think I've ever said it before!
@ do we find this expression in all of Britain or is it localized? Like just used in Chingford and London?
I have never seen a show in which they managed to give this wide a range of characters across genders such a diversity in portrayal with all of them feeling so genuine. Like you don't even get like one dedicated hard female character or soft male character. You get a so many shades all around. And none of these characters are just trapped inside a role, they are multifaceted and they bring out different aspects in each other. Like Vi can both be a competent badass that can mess anyone up and still be super gentle and vulnerable to the people close to her. Jayce and Viktor's finale I am not sure I have even ever seen between male characters before.
Yes it's so well blended and mixed together and yes nothing feels too forced! The Jayce and Viktor segment is beautiful yes!
Thank you so much! Oh there's some fun stuff coming along, for sure! 🥰
I have seen alot of Arcane reactions. A LOT. But not a single one comes close to your reaction. It just felt so intriguing, gripping and natural! I'm really happy that I found your channel and I will obviously stay for more!😄
Wow! Thank you so much! That's such a lovely compliment!
There will never be another show like it. Glad to have been here on your reacts since almost the start, it's been fun sharing the trip with you. The descent into CaitVi obsession has been wonderful.
Oh this is not the end of the CaitVi obsession either! 🥰
So sad it's the end. This, hands down, is one of my favorite shows. I was a complete mess of emotions after watching this season. Only Caitlyn can get an eye patch and still look stunning haha
I know how does she do it! Sexy little pirate 🤣
I haven’t seen fight/war scenes like this in animated media. The camerawork while Vi is running, carrying the girl, the noxians drumming. The rawness of it all. Still getting goosebumps every time.
Flawless cinematography.
It is stunning isn't it!
Absolutely she's very well rounded as a character, it's very well done! 🥰
@@ClaudieTV I think the interesting part is that she is not rounded, but she becomes rounded. We see pieces falling in place to form Cait's personality.
Lol yes, I too was simping so hard for Caitlyn in this episode 😅. They somehow managed to make her even more stunning than before, wow
I know 🤣 how have they even done that!
The pure joy that lit up your face at the sight of Caitlyn and Vi together at the end is so sweet. You old romantic.
🤣🤣
Thank you for all the time, effort and emotion you have put into your reactions, Claudie! They are truly far superior to all other reactors I have watched and have been one of the highlights of my day for the past weeks. Arcane has also altered my brain chemistry and I can't help but compare everything I watch to it now! I look forward to watching your future videos :)
Wow, thank you! Don't you worry there's ALOT more on the way, even to do with Arcane!
Yes it is brilliant! And good catch, I hadn't noticed that!
If you also think about it, besides V and I, it's obviously IV or 4 which is Ekko's time power limit.
I know, I'm just so happy that was the final scene!
I've been told(I don't speak Spanish) that the dirt under the fingernails is a paraphrase of a spanish idiom that means inseparable.
@@suzanneneilsen1680 I've heard that too.
@@suzanneneilsen1680 That's exactly what it is. It's a saying used to say that something is inseparable. No matter how many times you take it away, it always comes back...
I adore how every few minutes we hear a slightly panicked, "I'm going to lose my sh*t." Same!
Were really happy for you, Claudie. Congrats on your channel. It's been great watching subscribers and viewers go up for you. Keep being wonderful :)
1:10:59 Thank you, very well depicted
There are quite a few hints towards the end that Jinx is alive - and that she took the opportunity to do what "Silco" talked about.. walking away.
One.. the shimmery reddish flash heading away from the explosion - two, Caitlyn examining the ventilation system of the area that Jinx "died" in.. they found the bomb fragments, but not any bodily remains apparently... and finally: in the very first episode Powder said that one day she'd fly in one of those blimp ships.. and a blimp heading away for parts unknown just happens to be the very last shot of the series.
Hopefully we'll have that theory validated one day.
and in the 'the end' flash frame is in jinx's style and the e of 'the' is backwards. it makes an open door with the other e
and the Caitlyn doesn't tell Vi what she found about the ventilation pipes
Such a great reaction, Claudie! I've enjoyed watching these with you so much. So relatable, raw and honest!
Look forward to see what you do next!
Thank you so much!! More Arcane stuff to come, and alot more too :)
Thank you so much! Yeah Cait's had a hold on me for 3 weeks now 🤣🤣
You have no idea the extent to which I absolutely loved your reaction to this episode (and all the others ofc!!) but this episode in particular - i was laughing, giggling, kicking my feet, gushing, nodding along vehemently, cheering, and swooning over Caitlyn with you.
It was just so incredibly fun. Your reaction to the Maddie reveal SENT ME SOARING I CANT 😭 absolutely PEAK
THANK YOU for offering such amazing entertainment, I will most definitely be rewatching bc it’s just so good 🥹
(And also side-note but you’re so beautiful too!!!) cannot wait for more vids ✊
Victor is shown with a halo of the hex runes around him at 45:48. If you go back and watch THE FIRST SHOT VICTOR IS IN OF THE WHOLE SHOW his head has a halo of hex runes from Jayce's blackboard around it. Absolutely insane
God that is awesome! I may have to watch this all again!
Ah thank you so much 🥰
22:08 wow good catch, I did not notice that while watching for the first time. That's why I love watching your reactions, you notice so many things and therefore I do too
Ah thank you! It caught me so off guard haha, I had to point it out in the video
Two minutes in, and Claudie is already losing her mind.
Its going to be a good one!!!
This part of the opening is very likely pointing out at this inner distress (in the last ep, she says "I know" and bite her lips in anger + she was ready to let go of everything to make amends to Vi = she's likely adding a lot of self guilt to the trauma she faced in s1/s2a1)
16:26 Ok sorry again for the long-ass comment but this is my favorite CaitVi scene of the entire show, please allow me to yap a bit about it.
Their story really is beautiful and their way too cute I love them, sry for the yaping]
24:50 As I said in my yaping, Vi isn't with Cait bc she doesn't want her in danger (also she might fear Ambessa could threaten Vi to get to her), and Maddie has been Caitlyn right hand (not in a sexual way, although you could argue about that but not my point) for the past month so it makes sense for her to second Caitlyn.
Because they wanted them to look perfect, so they are the only circles in the whole show that are actually circles
32:27 First time I see someone drawing that conclusion here, good job :D
39:30 Just so you know, people who watched this scene in theaters actually jumped off their seat in joy
43:00 Actually it IS her lair, it was always a balloon stuck into the fissures. Btw Jinx outfit is dedicated to Isha (the shark hood, the little pink under her eyes, and she even painted Isha's glasses and rabbit ears all over her lair)
54:00 That's why I couldn't tell you about eyes last video :)
55:10 If you're interested, here is a thread about the symbolic behind Ambessa's death and last line
x.com/Toutankill1/status/1867974419450314857
1:19:30 This is the exact frame you should look at if you wanna know about Jinx's "death", congratulation ! The animation have always been highlighting the purple trace she leaves behind when using shimmer. The very distinct ray of purple flying away from the blast is no mistake. If you connect it with the investigation Caitlyn is making in the end and the last frames of the show, which are the exact same frames we see for Powder's first line ever ("One day, I'm gonna ride one of those things"), it is very obvious that Jinx decided to break the cycle by walking away, just like her inner Silco told her to do (even though she thought at first it meant k-ing herself)
1:21:38 If you pay attention to which seat she's sitting on, it's the seat of the Kiramman house. This is Caitlyn's way of repairing the wrong Piltover and herself have done to Zaun. It doesn't solve the conflict at all (and it's a good thing for the realism of the universe that Arcane doesn't imply that kind of conflict could just be solved by a common enemy and a nice ask), it's is merely a step in the right direction, but she's taking it, and as she says : "our story isn't over"
1:22:48 As I said last video, crows are importants and this one especially since it's a raven. The crow is thus a reference & maybe a set up for the next story
1:27:27 No one ever called her Violet except her own family :)
And this is the end of my long-ass comment. Thank you very much if you read it, I would be extremely happy if you would start looking more into the lore of Runeterra, or just any Arcane-related content.
Thank you for the kind words, I'll for sure look into it all 🥰
For Jinx, the only way she saw that Violet could be happy was to get away, as Silco told her. At first she thought that the solution was suicide, but thanks to Ekko she just walked away, leaving Piltover... While Jinx was still there, her sister was never going to stop looking for her, and so that she could start a new family with Caitlin, she got out of the way...
First episode 16min last episode 1:37 😅
The last scene is apparently the only scene Vi doesn’t have her hands wrapped ready to fight.
Yup noticed the wrapped hand thing, as well as Vanders wrist straps too! So clever aint it!
I've watched a lot of reactions but barely catches anyone on immediately that Maddie sabotaged the bomb. And you're also one of the vew reactors I've seen who deduced from all the clues, that Jinx is still alive. Very perceptive and as usual I love your reactions :)
And I'm sad there won't be any more Arcane reactions from you - at least for a long time :(
Thank you so much! I like to catch as much as I can!
I'm doing more Arcane vids, like BTS, music and some more too! Stay tuned! :)
Cool, I did see another reactor spot that as well.
1:10:47 I understand you. The first time I saw the scene between Jayce and Viktor I was speechless, but with many tears on my face. Everything (music, script and animation) is perfect and very deep.
Some interesting facts to highlight:
Viktor Evolved continues to use the blue cape that Jayce gave him in episode 1 of season 2.
It is so stunning, isn't it!
you had me at "that little pissbiscuit" 🤣
🤣
Being able to stop in the middle of the fight scene, to talk about the aesthetics of the characters' design, is pretty amazing (imo) because it shows how truly appreciative of every element you really are. ❤
That or chronic adhd, one of the too! Thank you so much though haha, so sweet
Please stop apologising for the way you react.
We are literally here for YOU and what makes you uniquely you.
Thank you 🤣
I knew it!!! I knew you would catch that purple streak of light 🎉 I think of all the people that I ve seen reacting to this show you are the only one that got that 😂
Also its crazy how this is just the beginning of your channel, high quality stuff and you just started!! I love it
Thank you so much! Very sweet of you 🥰
Well....100% confirmed by Amanda Overton now.....MADDIE WAS NOXIAN ALL ALONG!!!!!!
And I feel so vindicated now that it was also confirmed by the lead writer!!! Maddie was a plant all along!!
- Maddie called her "commander" before Ambessa actually named her Commander
- Maddie was the first to beat her chest
- Pulled from the car-thing during the memorial attack by huge Shimmer suit dude and NOT killed
- Maddie was in bed (god that still makes me sick) trying to get Cait to see Ambessa is trying to “protect them”
- Maddie was eaves dropping at the door when Cate & Vi had their argument about Powder - Maddie was carrying the bomb…and also sabotaged it
- Maddie showed ZERO remorse or hesitation in pulling the trigger
Then there is what Ambessa told Vi in Episode 6...."your absence provided a vacuum I was able to fill." She could have been meaning herself...but it is 100% confirmed now that she meant Maddie.
Thank you so much! So do I, even just a special or something short!
Caitlyn = perfect in every scene 🧎🏻♀️
Your channel made me relieved from my hard studies 💖 Stayed with me until I finished my master's degree 😆
The final scene between Jayce and Viktor is one of the most beautiful sequences I've ever seen. It makes me tear up every time I see it.
I love how in season 1, you couldn't bring yourself to say "brothel," but in season 2, you're going on about how you're "an absolute whore for Caitlyn."
Maddie being a double agent is one of the few writing choices that doesn't sit well with me.
(I think the only other times she's been called Violet were by Powder in season 1 act 1 and by Vander when suggesting the name to Felicia.)
Jinx lives!
Yes, it was my ego initially that didn't like the damaged eye. When editing, I realised how necessary it was!
Yeah it was a real kicker of a scene wasn't it! And thank you so much 🥰
Thank you for this.
Will look into Ted Lasso, as you're the 5th person to mention it!
PS :
there will be no Arcane: Bridging the Rift for season two. “But I think this video might interest you. A short 12-minute interview with one of the 3 fortiche directors and the Head of development, who gives a lot of info on a lot of subjects, and it's fascinating.
And given the number of English-speaking comments, machine translation works well.
It's called “Fortiche (Arcane) en interview: projet de long métrage Penelope of Sparta, avenir, avis sur l'AI” = Fortiche (Arcane) in interview: Penelope of Sparta feature film project, future, opinion on AI
Bonne continuation depuis la france. And sorry for the English mistakes
At 39:10 when Maddie shoots, and it kinda goes into that black and white animation , freeze the frame and look at Maddies face.
B is grinning like a Cheshire Cat.
A big ol, ginger cat 🤣🤣
When I first watched this episode I also wondered what Caitlyns face at the end was meant to convey and I think it's her wondering whether or not to tell Vi about her theory of Jinx being alive and escaping through the ventilation, if it's a good idea to potentially give her falls hope.
Yes that's what I believe
I have watched ALOT of arcane reactions. Its practically a whole genre at this point. So with that in mind let me say this has been my favorite reaction series ive seen. The show grabbed me like no other series i can think of. I really hope you continue to see growth and success on this channel cuz you absolutely deserve it. The passion is so clearly there
Thank you so much! I'm so glad I've done a good job! 🥰
Yes maybe I should do an Arcane breakdown, there's a lot more I understand even now, as opposed to when I did the reactions
JINX IS ALIVE... although it's also open to interpretation
You're the first reaction I've seen to this episode that notices Jinx's pink lightning bolt.
A farewell to this awesome journey (at least until fortiche's next series :)
Started watching this channel because of the need for more arcane reactions, ended up really loving the way you stop and analyze scenes, definitely will be staying for more stuff you react to!!
Ah that's awesome to hear! Thank you so much!
Ah thank you so much! This is very sweet of you! 🥰
A lot of the characters got season 2 skins with new voice lines refrencing a ton of scenes in arcane, all of them are uploaded to youtube so could be a fun watch
Ah ok thank you, I'll take a look!
Yes, absolutely! It was brilliantly done!
Yup absolutely!
Yes i was dubious about the time they spent on Ekko and Powder initially but after watching the end and rewatching it all. It wouldnt of been enough to show how Ekko saved Jinx I needed why he saves Jinx because Ekko at the start of that episode certainly wouldnt have
Ohhh, when Maddie attempts to shoot Cait... I dare you to view that frame by frame and pay close attention to Maddie's face when the shot goes off.
15:19 young adult. They didn't get older per se, that's the effect of constant stress on people.
Don't know if it was just luck to be honest but thank you for the compliment anyway! 🥰
Also Christian when asked if Cait and vi would show up again he said “Duh” so I’m hopeful for a spinoff later on.
oh really! Oh that is so good to know!
This was a fantastic run, I really enjoy your reactions. I hope great things come for you and your channel, I'll waiting to see what comes in the future
Thank you so much! So sweet of you to say!
"one day I gonna fly one of this things " Powder: Season 1 Episode 1 😉
The first thing you've reacted to on youtube is Arcane, let that sink in friend,
it was so much fun watching all your reactions and enjoying your analysis and perspectives on many scenes, it was great, thank you for such a fun series
Thank you for enjoying it, and coming along for the ride 🥰
two hour lunch break it is
strapped on
🤣🤣
'He looks like a moose that doesn't eat a lot' 😂😂😂
Also, for the Ekko and Jinx lovers, sure looks like they had a LOT of fun painting each other before the fight 👀
Your reaction to Maddie's death was brilliant 😂 not me celebrating with you even though I knew it was coming haha
So glad you're a fellow Caitlyn fan (fan might be an understatement lol) 😭 the woman that she is 🤌
All the female characters in this show are so well designed and written it's insane. I feel so grateful to have experienced this show and then to get a second chance to experience it through your channel! :D Thank you so much, definitely looking forward to more stuff (no pressure lol) 🌝
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, fellow Caitlyn simp 🥰
This is the moment where they became a league of legends
Yup all made sense now!
Great start. Love the analysis and all the rewind. Animations are very intentional in every frame and this series was meticulous in every aspect.
Thank you 🥰
That last scene close out after Jinx falls...you can hear Vi still screaming as the scene goes black. That was heart breaking.
Yep, absolutely heart breaking!
Hmmm, you always caught birds/ravens and eyes, ravens and eyes, ravens and eyes... It seems like the demon of Secrets, Raum, is watching over what's happening in Piltover...
Also, not sure if you noticed, but Vi in her final scene is for once not wearing her boxing wraps, and instead has replaced them with a single leather bracer on her right wrist, just like Vander started wearing after he lost his brother and gave up a life of violence
"I'm just not that man anymore"
Good catch!
Thank you so much! Alot more to come don't you worry! Sorry you found it annoying haha, alot liked it, so that's why I kept doing it!
@@ClaudieTV I watched so many reaction channel but you are among those who take time to analyze things and works so well
