Annie's laugh isnt about getting them to trust her; she's been putting on a facade and keeping herself hidden away the entire time we've known her. Now that she's been cornered and found out, she can let loose and be free with her emotional state. Its like if an undercover cop was in character for 2 years straight and then finally clocked off duty and got to be themself again.
NOT SPOILERS, JUST TO CLARIFY: The whole point of luring Annie downstairs is that if she tried to transform when she's too deep underground she would be crushed. It wasn't about the dark.
how sure are you about that? i always thought you need at least 3 things to transform. 1. you need to touch metal. 2. you need to be bleeding. 3. you need to be in direct sunlight.
Man, so glad these are uploaded every 2-3 days instead of weekly LOL Also for Annie, the plan was to lead her underground because that way, if she were to transform, she'd get stuck in the tunnel. But alas, she was able to pick up on that and refused, but in doing so, proved to them that she was the female titan. Love these reactions! Already can't wait until the next one! xD
The plan was to get Annie to go underground so that she couldn't transform without being trapped. If she refused to go underground, that would confirm she was the female titan and the soldiers that were hiding on the rooves and undercover would attack her to prevent her from transforming. But they didn't know about the ring she had. And no, being underground doesn't prevent the transformation because the sun is blocked. The sun is just a source of energy for titans, not a prerequisite to transformation.
Annie , the moody emo girl from the military police is the female titan . Weirdly enough I was blindsided by this reveal too the first time I saw it even though ut all the signs were there pointing at her , the face, the hair, the martial art . She was so sneaky that's how she pulled it off so well .
For your info, it was the encounter in the forest when Eren was fighting the female titan and lost that makes him confirmed on the identity of the female titan.
I love these reactions it feels like my parents are home, that cozy feeling lmao😊 (parents are in Mexico until the new year 😢) love the reaction !!! Let’s goooo!
It would be helpful if you could change the translation settings to the same as before. If you keep the current settings, the Japanese spoken by Armin will be shown in Japanese with subtitles, and the English you speak will only be shown in English with text.
At least put a spoiler warning. If that comment goes over their heads, that's fine. It's their genuine and authentic reaction to the show. But you just HAD to point it out so that the reactors will understand that it is important. Are you also gonna point out every single hint the show gives that goes over their heads? Cmon, just say nothing spoilery or put a spoiler warning.
*14:50** Carrie was scared and hiding from something on-screen, but I couldn't understand why. Regardless, I've been following you guys for a bit now and so I'm now finally subscribing.*
The thing about AoT is that you need to think a lot to really understand the show. We're given an overabundance of information, so it's all about asking the right questions. This only leaves you with more questions though. For me at this point many years ago when I first watched it they were at least these: -How did Marco die? -Who built the walls, and why did they need to be so tall unless they knew about the colossal titan? -With so few Scout Expeditions outside the walls, what happened before that? surely someone must've gone outside and looked, and there must be records somewhere" -How many titan shifters are there other than the 4 we've seen? -Are we living on an island or on a big continent? if continent, that'd be scary to know titans roam the entire place -How dangerous is it outside the, say, Northernmost or Easternmost section of Wall Maria? we know it's pretty dangerous to the south at Shiganshina, so if there are less titans in those areas, it could mean the titans come from the south. -What exactly makes a titan aberrant?
Dude, stop asking questions FOR them. Your questions are VERY RELEVANT to the show and are basically guiding/handholding them and leading them to think in line with the story and plot. Just let the show make them ask questions themselves. It is so lame and spoilery when the commenters who have watched the entire show ask questions FOR the reactors. It's way more entertaining to hear the reactors come up with questions themselves no matter how far off their questions are. That's their own genuine and authentic thoughts and reactions to the show. Let the damn show do its job instead of you doing this trash.

Just the bleeding
@@JulianLopez-mh6be in the manga Eren transformed there, also he transformed in the dark in season final when he attacks Liberio.
@@Carol-91 so was she affraind of getting crushed or ambushed in the tunnel?
@@JulianLopez-mh6beIt’s pain and determination/resolve/goal. The spoon represents a goal not metal. Only "regular" pure titans need sunlight to move.
Never thought I'd be eagerly awaiting these episodes lol
Frr
Especially this episode lol

ngl the key joke got giggling 😭😭
😂, that key needs to be present everytime they watch AoT

Jill is so on point, she nail the undercover scouts, and that the basement is for later, was rude from Tony to shut her like that

Almost to season 2 😊
We got them yahll. There hooked now😂
Dad joke and Dad bod.I feel Chrismax already.
I’m early!!! Love you guys !
Just to clarify they wanted to trap her underground because it’s narrow and she’d get crushed immediately
Vibez...thats all im gonna say lol
I was wondering if anyone’s face would light up once they say Annie looking all sad like mine did when I first watched this years ago😭😂
At the end of the season you should do a recap of the season with your parents to see what they remember or understand so far that would cool
You skipped the beginning with the flashback of Annie's father training her
Maybe because there was no reaction.
They always skip the intros, even if there’s something beforehand.
So who's each ones favourite character so far in the show?

Yea I see what your saying I haven't changed the settings so the auto captioning must just break sometimes.
Guys i think VINLAND SAGA would be a good anime for them to watch after AOT
Or Death Note
the warrior comment always goes over everyones heads...
Well yeah, it’s not explicitly obvious at this point

You dont really need to think about anything, everything gets answered when the time comes.
I have a request. Please watch the Erwin speech in English dub which is season 3 episode 16 or 17.
I have seen others do that they watch both of them and I liked it I'll have them do that!
Yeah I agree. Maybe they will "feel more" if they first hear the speech in English
