I hate to say it, but black women be the first one to disprove what another black woman is saying, but will believe and entertain any foolery out of a black man's mouth. Smh 😒
Literally , but no one wanna talk about that tho 👩🏽⚖️
Black men: “now how the hell we get in this again?”
Bruh how do bw believe anything that comes out a black mans mouth, I swear yall really our biggest haters
@@Berth407 Exactly, im like what you say fuck me for
Louder
The fact that she asked you if she was stabbing you show that she knew that she was stabbing you.. pure evil..
Smh just trifling, also I have a storytime I just posted that’s real EMBARRASSING. Could you check it out and let me know what you think?
The reason why she wouldn't let you use the bathroom is because she knew that she was doing what she was doing to your scalp and that she was wrong for it; she didn't want you to see it at all because she knew that if you saw it, you were going to be upset and take proper precautions before leaving.
Exactly, why would she even apologize and offer 10% if she knew her work was up to par. Furthermore, she hid all the scars that she inflicted on Asia by putting her hair up in a bun. Girl bye, she needs to miss us with the b.s. 😒
@@sexyalleycat Honestly, it was just unprofessional and spiteful all around. I'm really glad that Asia is okay. Some people are cruel and that's one of the many sad truths in the world.
@@kyians6669 so true, sad really 😤
Exactly that part was crazy in itself braids take hella hours
😯
Oh shit, I saw this on twitter! I didn’t know it was you. This stylist does not need to be doing ANYONE’S hair. Regardless of how someone’s scalp is, bleeding should not occur if you’re a professional stylist. Anyone who gets their hair braided knows that bleeding isn’t normal, so placing the blame on you is just crazy.
I saw this on Twitter too
Cause if it was really like that before she started she was supposed to refuse the service or let you know how it was before she started if she decided to go ahead so you wouldn’t blame her so regardless if they making their “conspiracy theories” she could’ve done those things from jump.
Where on Twitter?
@@krissysmiley4 juss type in bleeding scalp
@@tattiem5478 okay thank you!
What really annoys me about this is the people claiming to be professionals but willing to “diagnose” someone over the Internet. I’m a medical student and this is a HUGE no, because you have no clue what someone does or doesn’t have. It doesn’t matter what you think it is or what it “looks like.”
I’m so sorry that you experienced such an atrocity. I would make her pay come hell or high water.
To add to my comment, you could also dispute it since you paid via Apple Pay.
I agree with this (also a pre-Med student). People always turn into doctors until we start talking about loans, schooling and the MCAT.
Holding her accountable wouldve been going to the hospital, documenting your injuries and taking her to court. I wouldve immediately contacted a lawyer and did what needed to be done to take her to court. Get a refund and her license if she even has one. If she doesnt, make sure she gets fined.
Yeah she should definitely contact her states state board of cosmetology. And it's completely illegal to do hair out of your living room unless you get a license and she definitely doesn't have a home license.
Exactly! That’s what I was saying hospital, lawyer consult, then court!!! She’s looking at her scalp bleeding but asking her if she stabbed you?? Nahhhhhh she would have caught them hands if not then Def after her response.
💯💯
@@dustin628 Braiding in Texas doesn’t require a license. So doing it in her home is legal.
@@dustin628 well cutting dying or bleaching any hair for profit in a home without a permit is illegal but braiding someone's hair is not you can make as much money on braiding twisting or locking hair without a permit
I'd definitely be worried about the fact that she stabbed you and blood came out. She uses that comb on alot of people. Its likely she has stabbed someone else and they bled as well. I really hope she disinfects her combs at least. That is very dangerous.
Omg fr!! That’s SICK !!!
I was thinking the same! I would go to the doctor to make sure they didn’t give an infection stabbing with that comb
Good point. I over looked that. And from the sounds of it , the stylist prob don’t even know what Barbacide is. Smh
U r correct.
I'm thinking the same think! The stylist probably does not clean the comb after using it on her clients
It’s sad how much pain is normalized with braiding and black hair care. You should never be in that much pain from a hairstyle. I made the mistake of letting someone give me faux locs recently that we’re way too tight, I thought they would be okay because they do other peoples hair all the time so I left them in but girl my edges have suffered the consequences.
This why i do my own hair, have never had anyone touched my hair in years
@@Boss_etc853 I need to get to this level! #GOALS
10% discount on your Next appointment?? Sis who’s going to be coming back tf😭 these stylists are rude asf and delusional
Right cs ain’t no way she said tht😭😭😭😭
I’m still stuck on her trying to bust the dog in the head and braid at the same time. Like girl what?! 😂
that's because she knew she wasn't going to come back but she wanted to seem like she was doing something by giving her her a measly 10% discount on her next appointment.
I personally feel like her name should've been said. Not only was she extremely unprofessional, but she exposed you to a possible infection. Shes not someone that deserves customers. I bet she used the same bloat coated metal comb, which also gathers bacterial EASILY, on another person. I think you still have enough time to take her to court. That is extremely unacceptable.
super agree
OMG that's so crazy! You do have a point about us tolerating more pain than we should for our hair styles. I'm doing my kid's hair today and I'm making a point to let her know it is okay for her to let me know it hurts. I don't want her to grow up like we did holding it in.
Love that ❤️
This is why I do my own hair now because I hate the discomfort. I have locs now and before that I started braiding my own hair. I will not be teaching my kids that “beauty is pain.” Hair can definitely be done with minimal pain
Facts
How long you have locs? I’m about to start my journey soon and I’m super excited 😊 These prices nowadays to get your hair done is ridiculous and I have too much hair to keep maintaining my fro so locs it is for me
Same I was forced to learn to do my own hair.
Congrats but some people don't have the time or skills to do their own hair
@@tieany1 3 months 😭 so not very long, but I love them. They’re very low maintenance and I like the way they look on me
That lady had to be GRINDING at your scalp for it to be like that. Thats not "heavy handed" either thats torture.
How she didn’t feel it or let her continue?
As I mention, the only part of the style that hurt was the center of my head. The back, side and, front were fine. It’s been over a week since this happened and my scalp is almost completely healed and the “stylist” has been dealt with 😊
I think so too like if she was bleeding that badly in multiple places in her head she it had to have been too painful to allow someone to continue... I hate that you went through this but again it looks like whoever this was wasn't cleaning their tools properly.
@@IAMASIA yes ma’am 👏🏾
You’re TOO NICE! She should not be doing anyone’s hair at all. I would stick to ACTUAL LICENSED COSMETOLOGIST/HAIRSTYLIST bc you can call the state board on them and more.
Her name need to be known so people know to not book with her unprofessional ass. You should never NEVER be that hard on peoples head to the point they’re bleeding. This is against the regulations. She needs to be sued!
My grandmother told me that a lady braided my mom’s hair so tight that she took her hair out. This was along time ago. My grandmother said she was jealous of my mom’s hair because it was so long. The lady talked crazy so, my grandmother beat her up. Sometimes we think pother people don’t know what they are talking about but my grandmother always said that you can’t let everybody touch your hair.
This happened to me not too long ago. Got my hair retwisted, and she twisted sooo tight that I had to take them out after two nights. My scalp was throbbing, I couldn't lay on it at all and it took hours for me to get comfortable enough to go to bed, scalp itched like crazy, and I got tons of bumps where the pressure was worse. Waste of money and time, and the pain was not even worth the ugly way she styled it.
@@IndigoCloudkitty sorry to hear that. I’ve had crazy experiences with hairdressers over the years also.
Not she “gave you grace” for being late after charging you a fee😭🤦🏽♀️ .Girl some of these stylists forget that they’re providing a service that we are PAYING them for. They act like they’re doing us a favor. Sorry this happened to you sis, glad you told your story.
I agree. People can do their own hair, but go to a stylist to get treated. They are providing a service for people to enjoy and yet their service is like this.
And she charged her for an inconvenience she couldn’t control. How can anyone help that traffic is busy.
Everyday I’m thankful that I learnt how to do my own hair, this new generation hairstylists are moving mad🤯
@@lmaoaims I hope to learn to do my own hair
Right like giving grace would’ve been holding that fee
I am a braider here in the Dallas area, I've been braiding over 13 years, I myself have used that same komb COUNTLESS of times and have literally NEVER EVER NOT ONCE stabbed a client with them. If you had no prior scalp issues like dandruff ect then that was definitely done intentionally. If a client has scalp issues I ALWAYS voice them as we go, show them, take care of it and keep moving. She KNEW she was stabbing you which is why she said 'oh im sorry I stabbed you?'🤦🏾♀️...She did that on bs purpose for whatever reason which is disgusting smh Even if she had a issue with you she should've stil kept it professional and not try to harm you in any way. I hate that happened to you girl that's ridiculous and she should've atleast gave you something back for the damage she caused.
Im in Dallas too. Are you taking clients?
Ditto on the taking clients. Looking to have my hair done. Do you have a insta?
failed Freudian slip...👹
Some stylists be tripping. This chicken told me she would charge me $100 to put lashes on. I was like ok, this hoe has lost her mind.
Yeah those combs are sharp, but you really have to be pressing down crazy hard to draw blood! Smh
7:51 i love how you're speaking on the conditioning of black children when it comes to hair pain. Just the other day i saw a whole tiktok page of a woman doing childrens hair and the kids were literally screaming one was tryna run and the lady clearly didn't know how to detangle properly, but people in the comments were acting like the children weren't justified in screaming in pain because it's "tradition" saying she should charge more for children 🤦🏽♂️ . Sadly i had to experience it growing up as well. I don't understand why people act like children's scalps aren't more sensitive than ours.
i felt this like just because it’s normalized doesnt mean its right !! people need to do better
At that point it's straight up torture. I could never be okay with a child screaming in pain like that
I’ve stood up to my grandmother about that.
Yup I remember I used to cry as soon as my mom said it’s time to do your hair
I used to cry when having my hair done/washed with my head in certain positions. Turns out I can spinal stenosis and craniocervical instability. I had to have right braids out 2 days after they went in too because I get hair follicles being pulled out just if I put my hair in a in too tight by accident. Doesn’t take much to make my scalp start getting irritated and bleeding, allergic to Blue Magic apparently. I don’t let anyone touch my hair anymore I just put coconut oil in it and detangle with a tangle teezer, that’s it
You really have to be careful who you have in your hair because some people are very envious, jealous, and hateful. Looks like that lady dug in your scalp with that comb and she knew what she was doing.
very envious, jealous, and hateful...sounds familiar, what a loser.
I’ve been seeing a lot of stylist on TikTok “prepping” their supplies. One girl of the girls was even filing her comb saying she wanted to have a very sharp pointy tip to help with parting. I braid my own hair and my parts come out great every time never have I ever needed a extra pointy tip. I’m so sorry that happened to you happy healing❤️
Like surely a slightly rounded smooth tip glides over the scalp and under the hair better anyway?
Girl you handled this wayyyyyy better than I would have. I’m sorry this happened to you cus I woulda threw hands. I’m sorry 😂
Girl I would’ve got smart with her soon as she said I couldn’t go to the bathroom
Wouldn’t have paid a penny more sis. And still threw hands.
I def would hv drove back for that kuz NO MA'AM but we have to keep in mind every person reacts differently and the nerve of her to say she won't be able to book again 🤣😂😂
Right 😂

“Stylist” that don’t include the wash don’t have a cosmetologist license most times. These new hair girls are just the worst with their pricing 🙄
And I don’t understand how they call themselves stylist and don’t wash hair, don’t know anything about chemicals, half don’t have supplies they send you a list of things to bring with you, etc. I just do my own hair if I have to pay you luxury prices and buy and bring my own supplies it’s a no for me.
The stylist I went to has a license & ask that my hair to be washed with no product or it will be a extra charge
Ngl, washing your own hair is the least you could do. A wash is a service, you got to pay up!!
Facts!!!
@@catherine7045 they price as if it includes washing so they should provide that service
As a Braider…idk if ppl realize how HARD you have to stab someone’s scalp for this to happen.
Literally the amount of pressure she had to apply to create a wound…..
Yea the stylist has some issues
I think she had a attitude that her hair was so thick cause she did ask o are you natural natural
She was being hateful while parting her hair.
If it takes a lot of pressure to puncture the scalp then wouldn’t she have felt it during the install?
Anyone refusing your access to the bathroom: 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
This is exactly why I’m learning to do my own hair from now own. These hair stylist are getting way out of hand. The audacity to offer 10% as if anyone would come back after dealing with that. You are definitely not wrong, these hairstylist now a days do not care about really taking care of their clients hair and scalp. It use to be all about healthy scalp and hair growth now it’s about doing majority of the work before you even get there. And if they make a mistake they don’t take ownership but if you leave without saying anything it’s also an issue. Yeah I’m over it all. All this come detangled and flat ironed or braided before you come to your appointment etc is crazy. I’m going to take some classes and do my own hair from now own.
I think you should share her information just to allow people to avoid booking with her in the Houston area. She could really hurt someone.
Yes
Expose that ass.
I have never been asked if I was being STABBED while getting braids - what the heck was she doing???! 😢
This is why we ladies have to learn to do our own hair !!😢this is sad what kind sick person will do this 🤦🏽♀️
with all these scams and horror stories..i will def be trying myself 💀
Yeap, that’s why I’ve been doing my own braid styles, cuts and color for 9 years🤷🏾♀️

Nah ppl need to learn to do hair how tf u make someone's scalp bleed
I hope your scalp makes a full recovery. Sounds like she needs to be reported. I’m glad you’re sharing your story.
The group I seen your post , stylists definitely said it looked like stab wounds. She was offended you didn’t give her conversation and Chick-fil-A lol
this is why I’m sticking with locs. These new stylist are insane. I’m so sorry that happened to you and I know it was so painful. I had faux locs in the past and it felt like my head was about to explode and a part of my scalp was bleeding too. I’m glad you’re no longer in pain
That’s why I am going back to my locs this is not it
@Yellow Hippie happy for you! I love my locs more each day
@@Jeanfamm I understand. These new stylists make things difficult
I’m starting my journey in November 🎉.
I was afraid to get faux locs because I heard horrible stories, but I had them installed anyway.
Mines did not hurt, so baby what them other stylist are doing has to to be wrong.
That’s crazy 😩I cant believe that someone would be that harsh on a scalp and then have the nerve to be angry like you were wrong. Sorry you went through that 💗
Girl good thing you didnt put her page because I know a lot of us just wanted to go over there and defend you more! And 5-8 mins late is ridiculous to charge a late fee but whatever. I do believe she will get whats coming to her because this is all making me speechless.
Rite Wtf Happened A 15 Min Grace Period
Everyone gets a 15 minute grace period…she tripping for charging her a late fee. I’m saying it’s giving mental problem or something and she purposely did that to her! Her vibe was off from the bathroom like what???
I’m a Houston braider! She’s wrong as hell for doing that and being so insensitive afterwards!
She was upset you were a few minutes late, you told her to put her dog up, she ain’t like that, she was trying to make conversation and be friendly and she didn’t like that you wasnt trying to talk to her.
She did it in the middle cause she probably ain’t think you’d look at it. She knew what she was doing when she did it
“Are you natural natural?”….🙄SUPER tired of these hairstylists not wanting to work on 4c hair, whether it’s blatant or indirect
The thing is im excited working on 4c hair, i dont have to worry about unraveling or non of that! And it stays set
I think you should post the stylist to protect others because this is kinda dangerous especially if she doesn’t clean her tools
These new stylist do too much for me! It’s her thinking that you’d ever come back after being traumatized like that for me. So sorry you went through this and I’m glad you’re okay ❤
The fact she really said she was blocking you from booking again and accused of edited photos 😑😑 GIRL no one should be going back. Just rude and unprofessional. The pictures should have made her do the right thing like your scalp looked so painful!!! I’m glad to hear your scalp is doing better ❤ and I hope your family is ok in Florida sending good energy.
It was her yelling when she was reading the text from the girl 😭😭😭 it’s the “thanks you” for me
Sis I am so sorry that happened to you ! Some people are just garbage human beings and just shouldn't would with the public PERIODT ! I'm glad you're ok though and God will take care of shawty just you wait and see.
Sending you blessings love and Shalom 🙏❤️🕊️
Thank you ❤️
Girl please go get tested because my thought process is like if she stabbed you with combs or whatever who else she done stabbed that bled on that comb? Like literally blood is a big deal there’s soo many viruses transmitted via blood. That’s unprofessional of her be blessed hun.
Oh my I didn’t even think about…& on top of that I hope she did not continue to use that same comb on her next clients. Wow
I’ve had a total of two sew ins in my life…one of the things I was always told was to bring your own needle, because of that very reason. It made complete sense because it’s inevitable that they’re going to puncture SOMEONE’S scalp. And stylists don’t usually disinfect in between clients.
as a Nigerian these hair braider stories with all the fees and prices are insane
True! I
I haven't had an african that has properly done my hair in forever. 5 years later I went to another they damaged my hair. I love my loctician she does it all wash, condition, retwist, style for my $85 and specializing in hair care . Her hair crack (all natural mint oil) snapped my edges back. I will not spend more than $50 for a no. Wash and style .
@@stephaniebell4542same went to an African braider and it was the worst experience ever. They braided so tight, I had a migrane. If you tell them they assume you’re glueing dramatic. My hair is very sensitive and it ripped out my edges. Horrible. I decided after that I will be the only one braiding my hair because I know my sensors and won’t go that hard.
I'm glad you're okay and your scalp is healing. I would have sued the b!tch, she knew she hurt you otherwise she wouldn't have asked "WaSiStabBiNgyOu" just trifling as hell
Just a comment about not having kids at appointments. As a licensed stylist, our professional insurance doesn’t cover children at appointments. Some people will let their children be unsupervised and we who are working, cannot watch someone’s child at the same time. Sharp instruments, high-heat tools, cords, sprays, and other hazards are present. It’s simply not a safe environment for a child to be there.
Yupp this is why I only go to my Nigerian auntie and that’s it! “Stylists” be charging too much, be doing the wrong thing, be having you wait too long, making you pay for extremely unnecessary fees, and doing stuff that actually harms your hair. THIS!!!! These stylists don’t be caring & playing in people’s heads
This is all over the world tbh, even in my country its hard to find good hairstylists that dont ruin your hair while doing a style
I think hairstylists shouldnt be allowed to do hair without being certified and properly educated, even when they are certified they’re still bad, alot of hairstylists are good at the hairstyle and getting the finished look but not good at actually giving the natural hair what it needs, you cant be good at one half of the job and really bad at the other part that truly matters
@zhanehillhair & @starmakers_intky @stylebyjewel__ are some you can check out. I got my first silk press with Zhane and she was extremely sweet and educated about my hair type. She moved a little farther away so I had to find another stylist which is Starmaker. Ladies stop letting these situations go!! If they dont give you your money back SUE THEM! You will get your money back!
Some people hands are not meant to be in your head. They got them non anointed hands. I have some stylist where my hair grows and some where my stuff falls out.
I saw a tiktok where stylists were using nail files to file down that lil black plastic part to make it sharp. apparently it makes the parts straighter and more precise but it dangerous affff. (also im soo shocked that was YOU! )
Yup that was my first thought, the comb was sharp af
I Went To Cosmetology School And They Had Us Sharpen Our Combs In The Pencil Sharpener .
Wow, that’s crazy always though they work with the comb as is honestly. Don’t think them combs meant to be sharping the ends. That lady seem like she tried to do that to her head, one thing she never apologized that let you know she tried to do it. If the comb was extra sharp she should have stop and said sorry the comb end is extra sharp it scratched your scalp. Also, the stylist did not want to give her money back this was a low down situation. Me and mom had a bad experience with a hair braider along time ago, i always liked my hairstylist but the braider always used to give off the vibes this young lady speak of. Nice one min next kinda mean. It used to feel very uncomfortable made me not want to get braids.

With those combs, braiders are easily able to scrape and “stab” your scalp because they’re not using the medal end they’re using that prominent pointed piece at the top & they actually SHARPEN that for a more precise part. She had it sharpened too much!! & she’s very aware! Very common new braider technique with those combs.
I legitly just wrote the same comment before seeing yours some braiders do not understand they can overfile that piece and it becomes too sharp like it does more harm than good

Yes indeed
Yes simply because we just don’t respect each other. Many black women got into this business just for the money which is why they don’t offer refunds when it is warranted. I’ve always had a good African braider which is hard to come by. No late fees no up charge and I can pay cash and not be giving strangers my card info.
I am not a professional braider , I braid my friends hair all the time , using the same comb , and shine & jam . Not once puncture their scalp .
I had a horrible braiding experience at a salon in Harlem NY. I asked for regular box braids. I was wincing and asked her if I could get up and get Tylenol because the pain was so bad. The whole salon was laughing and thought it was funny. I came back to let her finish because I paid $400 for the braids. When I left, I had work the next day. I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t turn my head, couldn’t raise my eyebrows, so I had to take them out less than a day later. When I took them out, I weighed the hair. Y’all, they put 2 POUNDS of braiding hair on my head!! Never again.
That’s just sad. Why would she do that??
$400 you slow ash 😂😂
@@ceemoney5309 I don’t know man that’s the avg cost in NYC
I hope it wasn’t the African hair braiders on 125th street smh
@@ceemoney5309 u from New York???
Girl I saw this in fb! I really hate this happened sis and it’s wild how unprofessional people are and how these “stylist” try to flip the script and make it seem like you’re the problem. Most definitely be more cautious about who you let do your hair cause these folks out here don’t give a damn🤦🏾♀️
Omg sis this was you?? I been seeing this picture everywhere! I’m so sorry you went through that, I wouldn’t wish that pain on nobody.
Same!
This is ridiculous that you went through this, and even worse that other black woman gaslit you online. Also I'm sick of the rules of stylist. What other race has to come to the salon with their hair washed and blowdried?.. smh. I am sorry this happened to you.
I was doing cosmetology I would never make anyone come with hair prepped. That's part of the experience. Either I'll charge a little extra or for free cause your already paying a lot of money and time.
This happened to me last year in May 2021 on my birthday, my hair was bleeding, on fire and infected. I would never let another hairstylist do my hair again. They braid to tight. I paid $150 for box braids. She is tell the truth. I can relate to her pain.
I am so sorry you had to go through that. Nobody deserves that. I hope your scalp has healed & that you are good ❤
Asia I 1000% believe you ! I had a stylist who did faux locs for me. They were done so tight that I couldn’t sleep for days and I even tried using hot water when I showered to loosen them up. I had scabs and sore spots. To make matters worse when I took them down my hair was falling out in clumps. Damaged beyond repair my curls were gone it would just mat up. I cried so much an wound up having to do a big chop and cut it all off mind you my hair was to the middle of my back. Some of these “stylists” just don’t care. 😪😪😪
I think some people do it on purpose! It happened to me and they would not loosen it. I think that some times they are jealous
That hair stylist is CRAZY AS HELL! I'm sorry you had to go through this!
This is simple! Hairstylists are state registered therefore you can do two complaints one directly to the licensing dept. and the state attorney general's office consumer affairs online and upload pictures of receipts, and the injuries along with a letter to her. Be sure to place cc: in the complaint so she knows of the other two contacts! You will get your money back fast.
Good for you for standing up for yourself! You could be the one who saves many of other womans “all natural natural” hair from that stylist! Sounds like she doesn’t need to be touching anybody!
why would she not put the dog away? some people are so unprofessional you’re running a business if a client asked you to put the dog away it clearly was for a reason wow! as a 4c girl my hair is also way more course & thick in the middle. i hope she work on her customer service & skills 😳, love your videos girl 💕!!
you yelling the all caps part sent me “ALL MONEY NOT GOOD MONEY” 😭😭😭😭 fr though i’m sorry that happened girl 😭 im glad you’re all healed up now
I had an accident similar to this (but unfortunately worse) and it was a “kitchen stylist” but she was very apologetic and gave me 1/2 my money back (I should’ve asked for a full refund) but she was also black and so I just want to say there is some hope for black stylists💕 they not ALL bad lol they just rare because people are MONEY HUNGRY and don’t be caring🙄
This person NEVER needs to touch ANYONE’S hair EVER AGAIN!!! Don’t hesitate to call the police or sue!! ALWAYS take action!! No mirror to check all angles? Use your phone and record video, with and without the flashlight on. Never ask if you can get a refund, just say “I need a refund for *insert reason and pictures*
Girl you are a beautiful black young lady with a good spirit, people are going to hate you for no reason. I promise you. Be careful out here (that’s with anything) and really listen to any funny feelings you get
I am so sorry this happened to you. I was minding my own business and I got a notification. There's no accountability and it speaks volumes about your character for not publicly releasing her name. This is why most of us have begun doing our own hair. The trust isn't there.
Whew! That's my biggest fear. That's why I don't let noone do my hair. I do my own hair. If I don't know how to do something, I learn. I had a stylist back in 2010 and she cut all my hair off talking about it was damaged. She lied. Now, the style she did was really cute and my hair grew back super fast anyway, but it was the fact she told me something that wasn't true and that made me no trust her ever again. however, your situation is actually traumatic and I'm sorry you went through that. I hope you never happen to ever go through anything like that again ❤️ you have a lot of self control cause I swear that's an a. Whooping she personally ordered. And then she had the audacity to be rude and have no professionalism nor empathy.
You sounded like you were on the verge of tears I’m very sorry that that happened to you and I hope your doing better 😢❤
Dang these black stylists are on another level! I can't believe all the ish they pull on you poor girls! It's really just totally unreal to me! I've been a stylist for over 10 years, and spent the day watching black girls do hairstylist storytimes and it's just one bad story after another. This one takes the cake though! I'm so so sorry I really don't understand how this happened and how the stylist let you leave her chair like that. Unbelievable.
get your stylist friends to learn how to do black hair so we can go to yall 😂
Asia, I’m glad you’re okay and I believe you. I’ve had a few experiences with scalp pain/ trauma due to inconsiderate hairstylists. I barely get my hair done by other people now anyway..I do it myself. It’s not a lot of hairstylist that know how to care for natural 4c hair either as to why I don’t bother.
The way my blood started to BOILLLLLL when I saw her response😡😡😡 omg I am so sorry this happened to you💔 The way people are so MONEY HUNGRY AND SPITEFUL!!! SMH! She should be ashamed. Accidents happen but not owning up to them??? Unprofessional and dead wrong.
Ppl act like they’ve never left the stylist and noticed things when they got home. And she knew exactly what she was doing and that’s why she didn’t let you see it.
The stuff women do to get their hair done is crazy. The FIRST MOMENT i feel scalp pain...i'm getting UP!!!
This could have caused tension alopecia! you deserved 100% of your money back. And she needs to have more compassion and learn how to treat hair with care. I honestly wish you could tell who she is so you can save other people scalps
This is absolutely crazy! You handled this very very well. She definitely had to have known you she was hurting your scalp smh.
girl i saw your community post ab this and was waiting for this story gurlll. i’m so sorry this happened to you ❤
The best stylist I ever had was a kitchen stylist….I miss her so much 😭
Facts 💯
I have two that I trust...
Waiiiitttttt this was you!!!!!!! I swear I seen this on Nique at nite, about how crazy these damn “modern hairstylist” are now a days🥴just crazy!!!GLAD YOU ARE ADDRESSING THIS!! Cause I seen comments too!! It looked like she was trying to get “clean parts” but pressed way too hard. And some pressure and pinching is not unusual when you are getting parted and braided down 🥴we do have to support black businesses but at the same time black businesses need to support the black customers. ❤
I’m glad I decided to start braiding my own hair. It might not be the best of work yet, but I can’t deal with the over pricing & haters in my head. She had no reason to do that to your head wicked.
Last year I had finally decided to go see a stylist cause I wanted my ends cut cause it’s been years (I’m also natural) & I wanted a blow out to see my hair progress. Mannnnn when I left that store I looked crazy. 🤦🏾♀️ i didn’t complain because I was in her chair forever, I was 6 months pregnant & was ready to go tf home. I knew I should’ve just stayed to myself & I just kept doing what I’ve been doing after that. I straighten my own hair & it looks 10xs better than what she did. 😅
Amen me too.
Asia everything you saying is correct... People act like when something happens to your hair that it is your fault when clearly it's not.. people like to make up stories SMH.
Omg 444 necklaces. I love how honeys you are and the fact that you take accountability for your wrongs and also hold other accountable, it’s 𝕀𝕟𝕤𝕡𝕣𝕚𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 for me girl! I love you so much
her saying "ma'am I asked you if I was stabbing your scalp and you said no" is so stupid because the itch knew she was stabbing your scalp like she's the one with the rat tail comb in her hand stabbing her customer's scalp. She didn't need to ask her customer if she was stabbing them because she can see the blood pouring out of your scalp. And this wasn't just redness from irritation. Your scalp was literally bleeding!! like she definitely fucking knew she was stabbing your scalp.
Anytime blood is present IMMEDIATELY STOP THE SERVICE AND ALERT THE CLIENT!!! She would know if she learned properly how to do services safe and clean board of cosmetology lemme find out she under y’all. Ik she had to see that blood…
she saw the blood most definitely she just money hungry and dont care about her clients fr so she not worried about safety , she knew if she said something she wouldnt have gotten paid so she let asia leave like that before she could see it , smh 🤦🏾♀️
@@preciousmcclinton RIGHT! Just weird and unprofessional
@@Kelzxzzx exactly!
💯 💯 I am a licensed and certified cosmetologist and I have been seeing these rogue ass stylists for some time now since the pandemic and I DESPISE people like that!! My suggestion is to contact the state board to get her dealt with asap

That’s so crazy I seen this on Facebook. I believe you 100%. That’s why I had to learn how to do my own hair. Every time I used to get my hair done it be WAY TOO TIGHT and they want you to do 20 things to your own hair before you come to the appointments. I’ve had enough. They wI’m sorry this happened to you girl
This is why I'm leaving GA. The self hatred and colorist is awful. You wouldn't even think your own people would treat you as awful as they do.
