Listening and reading many videos and books of Rupert for several years I have come to the realization that I wasted the 65 years of my life concerned with this body and mind which is not more than the vehicle trough which my real eternal “I” temporarily experience this world. I hope that the rest of the earthly life of this body mind complex will be used to enjoy the peace and happiness that arises with the presence of awareness. Thank you once again!!

I feel that I have wasted most of my 64 years looking for what I already am. Without so much as a glimpse.

    • @JorgeRodriguez-nx5eq

Rupert explain that we should not expect some kind of “trascendental” experience. If you are able to enter in the state of “no mind” or “ presence of awareness” willingly It is enough to find peace.

@@JorgeRodriguez-nx5eq Rupert's one of the best teacher's around and there's a lot of them about. Perhaps I've experienced what you speak of at times and not recognised it because of it's simplicity. I'm just sad about all the time spent seeking something so rare , veiled and ephemeral . My recent teacher made so many bold claims about awakening/disolving the ego etc. You'll be bullet proof, fearless, abundant, detached, never born and never die. She then became more popular and less accessible and more expensive. I would just like to settle into something less one dimensional, more human, compassionate and life affirming in my dotage.

I hear people like this and I appreciate the argument and it sounds really profound but I am going to state what we should be doing here on earth without agreeing or disagreeing with the argument because it is not clear to me that the words spoken convey the natural and everyday menacing. The purpose of our life here on earth is to use the five senses to the beat of our abilities and opportunities. Any effort to explore areas not connected to those senses is not essential for this realm. We are here to enjoy those temporary or clearing things that can be removed from one when one dies. These deep explorations lack certainties and requires leap in argument built into faith that we cannot prove. They catch us at our moment of weakness and they appear logical. This logic is academic. So Enjoy your five senses while trying to love yourself and your neighbor.

Dear Rupert, Thankyou for sharing your insights and gifts.
You’ve changed my life and continue to change my life in Profound ways. Science definitely needs to catch up with you on all matters to do with consciousness.
The proof lies in testing and actually experiencing first hand what you say, such has been the nature of awareness. I’m also finding that I understand quantum physics explanations much better as they seem to be consistent with your teachings.
I continue to expand & grow as I focus on the awareness you describe and concurrently my everyday upbringing conditioning continues to equally get undone, being stuck in my limited mind is beginning to feel more like an option these days.
Your teachings are indeed a “process” for me, that I didn’t believe existed till now, the side-effects of which are a natural state of comforting surrender, gentle stirrings of peace, joy, excitement and ecstasy. All this for no apparent reason other than “being.” I realise I cannot do anything except be that which I am.
Thankyou my Friend, for being the Genius to literally simplify my understandings of “All that is”... 🙏✨✨

It's a copy from Gurus from many different backgrounds, sorry this IS a copy of techniques brought from many historical writings. His teachings are from other spiritual teachers,,,this is not genuine, this man is a total creep!

    • @alexp7203
      @alexp7203 4 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      RobbeyT Which Gurus?
Ramana Maharishi... Sri Atmananda Krishna Menon....and many others including countless poets etc.which Rupert himself references over & over again.
I’m familiar with the teachings being ancient universal truths, but I’ve never understood them till I started listening to Rupert speaking about them. He speaks of the ancient truths through his understanding and use of language, that in itself is a gift alone which is inspirational to hear.
The proof is in the pudding of my subjective experience, whether I realise it from Rupert’s interpretations or simply from the existence of a “blade of grass” ...
I’ve not been able to understand your point? As all gurus (past/present) are doing exactly what Rupert is doing, ie. explaining historical/universal truth through their own understanding and use of language. There’s no patents on universal truths in my reality.
There’s over 7 billion gurus on this planet..
Or put succinctly, how is what your saying inspirational and unifying, when paradoxically, I see only divisions in your comment of which guru is worthy or not? Are you asking me to choose one at the expense or diminishing the other, especially when they’re saying the same thing?
      🤔

    • @imaginaryuniverse632

@@RobbeyT1 I think most people that listen to Rupert are already aware that what he has to say isn't something that he created and he is aware that most of them are already aware of these teachings. I don't like the concept of gurus myself as far as how they are presented as being the path to enlightenment but I don't think Rupert presents himself in that way. I think we are supposed to share our individual points of view towards finding enlightenment or realizing who we are fundamentally because who we are in reality is beyond words and can only be pointed too. Each has their own understanding of what words mean to them so seeing different points of view can help everyone find what the words are pointing to. Like I see what is often called resistance as being throwing a hissy fit but it took me a long time to realize acceptance wasn't just letting bad things continue but just meant the amount of energy we spend on throwing a hissy fit could be spent on making things better. I still throw a hissy fit every once and a while but it doesn't take me long to figure out it's not helping. I used to think the bigger the problem the more hissy fit was required. 🤗

I agree we shouldn't impose our individual beliefs but I also feel that it should be a priority for us to proactively share the Truth of Oneness. I think it's very important not to imply our approval of concepts that are against Oneness by being silent when they are spoken. We can do this without being argumentative by simply saying, I believe we are all one and this is the reason the Golden rule should always guide us. I say something like this quite often when people talk about others as being an enemy or when I find myself talking like that. Justice is only found in redemption. Vengeance is just the continuation of injustice which is only the result of misunderstanding what is True.

It's a constant and conscious practice, and I do think that when we begin on this path, we are pushed to our limit and face those ''trials'' or ''lessons'' that come up, and that's where the true test of this resting awareness comes in. Do we move aside from it because we don't like it, or do we stay with it because we're spiritual people, it's a fine line and quite hard to distinguish. I haven't really expressed this as best I could.

Your expectation of something unique and dramatic, of some wonderful explosion, is merely hindering and delaying your Self Realization. You are not to expect an explosion, for the explosion has already happened - at the moment when you were born, when you realized yourself as Being-Knowing-Feeling. There is only one mistake you are making: you take the inner for the outer and the outer for the inner. What is in you, you take to be outside you and what is outside, you take to be in you. The mind and feelings are external, but you take them to be intimate. You believe the world to be objective, while it is entirely a projection of your psyche. That is the basic confusion and no new explosion will set it right! You have to think yourself out of it. There is no other way.

I'm always hoping for something a little less nebulous. Adyashanti gets right down to it and quite literally says the thing in as much as it can be described. I enjoy hearing it described through the lens of each individual experience. For me it creates an amalgamation of depth and dimension, which is as good as it gets without ever having had the experience(s) 😁

So, all is one and one is all.... if you know this, you will act accordingly..

If we are a manifestation of God. In a rape or torture, God is a contradiction: on the one hand He manifests Himself with hatred (rapist, torturer), on the other He manifests Himself as a sufferer asking for mercy (tortured, raped).

    • @jamesdewane1642
      @jamesdewane1642 3 ปีที่แล้ว

You need more hands. On the third hand he manifests as the individual comforting the victim. On the fourth and fifth as the counselor, father, mother, brother, sister, friend etc who notices the hurt and rage in a potential perpetrator and who tries to alleviate the pain and avoid violence. On the sixth are the spiritual teachers working to bring peace of mind to all so that these tragedies are avoided. On the seventh are those teaching assertiveness and self-defense.
You're right to bring up the hard stuff. Once at a Unity church (they're all about non-duality) meeting they were talking about how every encounter is a divine appointment, and it occured to me bring up the example of a guy with a gun to my head. Ha. No takers. They all looked at me like I had just shit on their wedding cake.
Rapist, bike thief, and the roommate who always leaves the milk out are all expressions of the divine. But these spiritual types avoid these kinds of questions because it makes them sound callous to the victim to affirm the divine nature of a person who leaves the milk out. Do you see what I did there?

Andrew Coates I believe he does. But those teachings and practices are reserved for those who attend his retreats. To me it seems like he’s giving out the answers. But our minds don’t work that way. I feel like we need to build up a foundation and the things need to be taught in a way where “WE” discover the truths, and aren’t just handed to us. Like Ramana Maharshi, I’m sure he could have just given the intellectual understanding and words to those who are seeking but knew that that would only spoil the opportunity for discovering it for yourself. It’s like stumbling on a song you randomly found on TH-cam that you’ve never heard of before and we’re extremely moved by it, it’s like a precious gem that was there for you to find. If someone told you what the song was and where to find it, I don’t think it would be as awe inspiring. I don’t know if that makes sense.

It has all power it had all power when it was mindless expansion of our reality. It is the evolution from mindlessness that mind emerged from and mind still is this original mindlessness. There is no God that is all knowing to be found. I love talking about fairness and the all powerful all that is doing all of this. It is what I am. It is what everything is. It is of itself with no cause. Actual truth is what we are. Our ego must surrender to the truth.

If we are aware of our nature, why is it so difficult to feel that nature that we are? Why does it cost so much? And we stay in pure concepts. When the prodigal son returned, his father went to receive him with open arms. This does not happen in real life because to get our Father to receive us we have to open different doors called states of consciousness, which can take many years.

Jesus on the cross symbolizes being stripped of everything. My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Except no one is ever forsaken, though it feels that way. One cannot be stripped of awareness, is maybe what Rupert would say.
Easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Another bit about stripping away. You must be like little children to enter the kingdom. Children own nothing and know less than adults. Losing losing what you think you have brings peace. But maybe losing in the sense of knowing that nothing is a part of you, except that experiencing awareness.
