Definitely. Cut a wider notch in the blue sheet to accommodate shingling on the seam cap. If you have to use a seam cap at least do this.

Thats all horse do do. Man just notch if its on the seam your creating so much more work... your slamming a dek tite on it with azillion screws.
Learn some good old fashioned Russian style pipe flashings... easier said than done but yeah iykyk
Seam Covers are bad, this whole spec is very unappealing there are so many better ways to do this. You big companies need to research more and quit relying on engineers with only computer knowledge. ugly ugly ugly
