To answer your question, depending on your ps3 model & if your using Hen. I've heard of it working for most people but that doesn't mean nothing can go wrong. Why are you asking me? Isn't this your Channel? Lol

The reason why I really want to update it is so that my ps3 will connect to the internet but I'm scared that the games will be deleted. Have you updated it yet? Hi i just had a problem my net is not having good speed. So i downloaded it on USB and tried but wen i plug in the USB to the PS3 and follow the steps it says no applicanle update data was found. Plz help

When u update it does it delete all your data or do u still have it after the update
Why would it delete your data, updates just fix bugs, or add content. It shouldnt effect any data.
