Supercharge your VW

Have you ever wanted supercharge your classic Volkswagen. Well I did using the kit from Kompressorhaus. George T from The Wagen & I installed this on my 1965 Volkswagen beetle. This car has a 74x88=1800cc engine. Its a low compression engine that was fairly lethargic on dual 42 DCNF Weber carburetors. This Supercharger woke this Volkswagen Bug up!

@@letstalkdubspodcast9361 Oh sweet. I have a 1960 I’ve had for almost 30 years with a rebuilt 1600 single port out of a 1970. KH said they make SP adapters. How do you think it would perform on a SP 1600 engine? 300 or 500 kit? I would really like to turbo swap it with RADesigns turbo kit but the KH simplicity and price seems appealing. The RADesigns kits are expensive but they have really nice stainless manifolds. Does the KH kit come with some sort of boost timing retard mechanism?
