Thank you sir! Some previous contractor had the pressure jacked up causing the PRV to drip and rust.

Hey Tad, nice video and to the point. I'm in a suburb of Chicago and it's been cold, but system working well!

To lower psi: you must open the drain slightly and let run for about 30 seconds. In case anyone wants to know. It is an extra step.

Thanks, i have a home hot water heating system which continues to see pressure drop below the 12psi factory setting on the valve. I’ve been increasing pressure using a bypass loop for weeks. So i plan to increase the valve setting. I’m located in central NY.

Make sure it's not leaking anywhere

I have a simple two story home, the distance from the boiler to highest zone is about 18 feet. I’m in nh at about 50 feet above sea level. It running at 30 psi and My tag says 15 psi. Should I lower it to avoid blowing out any seals?

and remember to make sure the expansion tank is working at the right PSI 40lbs for domestic hot water heating and 14 psi for a hot water boiler take the system down to 0 pressure than check your expansion tank
