Yeah, i finally have something to upload that isn't just a silly little meme video, hooray!
This was my gift to acerenastuff on tumblr, as part of the Touhou Secret Santa event held on there every year.

I got a vague recollection of the plot of DiPP, so it's really enthralling to understand parts that references the story such as how the honest men were killed
My favourite of the story was when Jacket Girl said "In the end, aren't we all just Dolls in Pseudo Paradise?". Such a chilling way to reference the title. Bravo Zun for the story and Bravo Spear for this awesome animatic

@@taodivinity1556I'm pretty sure it's just a morbious-type meme, and because ZUN sometimes puts the title of the games within the game.
I love the idea that the mysterious girl looks like Marisa and Toyohime, I'm very happy that they don't forget this CD album of Zun's story after so many years the fans still remember paradise.
And disc girl looks like a mix of Reimu and Yoshika
The black girl is Jacket girl and the disc girl is Label girl
Don't ask Marisa about her mother.
Oftentimes it’s easier to forget about the grimmer stuff in 2hu lore I love this video
The drawing style feels a lot like the drawing in the old touhou games, i like it

I love the desaturated palette and the textured brushes, plus your lineart is so pretty!! your art style is gorgeous overall. it looks like something out of a children's fairytale storybook (positive) and it suits the aesthetic of dolls in psuedo paradise perfectly. there's a lack of touhou animations out there, so I'm especially happy this exists. I hope you know how much of an amazing artist you are!!
This art feels so nostalgic, especially when combined with one of my favorite CDs…thank you for making this!

In the morning, I could see a shrine maiden in red and white dancing above the lake. As the earliest riser among our group, I was long entranced by that otherworldly vigorous dance. Eventually, it began to rain, and by the time I came to my senses, the shrine maiden had disappeared...

This is fantastic, everything about this is incredible and I’m glad DiPP is getting some attention, as it’s my favorite collection of music produced by ZUN. I love how well the animation fits with the music both in terms of syncing with the song, the art reflecting ZUN’s style, and how I imagine the story would look if it was illustrated and/or animated. I adore how you characterized the two characters on the CD jacket and the disk and how the animation portrays the deaths.

Charlotte Pierrot (blondie)
Ikami (shrine maiden)
There is a theory that said the shrine maiden is a Reimu ancestor since the "paradise" is a Gensokyo
Also other theory said the killer was a "most coward" in one of the 8 honest men who tried to suicide but got reincarnated

@@fezcrystal9 I just assume she is previous Hakurei shrine maiden because ZUN said Reimu isn't the first (but nice theory from you)
I also think DIPP happened during early 1900 or maybe 1890 when Gensokyo and Hakurei border still new
