This band rocks.
Greatest TV performance ever! This was 1984( I watched it and was amazed) and he was playing with guys like the great Mick Taylor w/Santana sitting in....so Bo takes a Latino L.A. punk band from L.A.....practices aa ton of songs with them....brings them to the fancy N.Y. hotel and gives them each a $30 per diem....doesn't give them a set list.....plays the harp in the wrong key while the band tries and hold it together....Oh...he's playing Ronnie Wood's 1955 strat which he borrowed at the last minute....reed the Marshalls from SIR.....and electrified the nation. He told the guys he would call them on Monday....which he never did. He did have drummer Charlie Quintana (RIP) tour with him, but the rest of the guys never heard from Bob again. They were called The Plugz.
This version sounds a bit like Elvis Costello. I love it. Best version of this song ever. Also one of my top 20 favourite Dylan songs.
That’s one of Ronnie Wood’s Strats Bob is playing, if anyone cares.
Argh, any Bob fan who was lucky enough to see this live must've been jumping out of their seats! This is absolutely rad!! Bob really going for it, the band is on FIRE and Bob is having a heap of fun - the fist punch halfway through (about 2:45) always makes me laugh :) :)
One of Dylan's finest performance. Out-Clashes the Clash!
There's a reason Dylan's my favorite of all time; this is just one of the several.
As a longtime fan of both Dylan and punk music, this is an exciting find! Of course, it doesn't come as a huge surprise as Dylan has always been punk af.
Happy 73th Birthday, to Bob!!! Great live version of Jokerman. Excellent!!!

a lost live jewel dylan is on fire here playing loud live raw & sounding like a rock n roll star
Dylan can rock. True garage music at it's best
cette version est super votre voix magnifique merci
Bob is simply on fire here. Surely, the greatest song & dance man.
in my humble opinion, - The most profound song of all time ...
Going along with former comments, if my son asked me "what is Rock'n'Roll?" I'd show him this. It's so Rock'nRoll, It's nearly punk. But just nearly. Fucking awesome!
Discovered the maestro in my teens 40 years ago. The man is totally gifted. He has to be the best songwriter of all time 👊🙏
I wish he recorded this version as a bootleg or something

He had a chance with the new Bootleg Series they announced yesterday for Infidels, but this was not included :(
Wish this version was on one of the albums. Love it!
Everybody needs to have a little bit this in their life…pretty amazing to see him contour this lyric to whatever he choose to musically sculpt
